toxiccrimsonpain congrats on the little one! I'm due April 26th with my second little girl heart It's normal to stil be "closed and high" especially on the first one. I started effacing... I can't remember if it was 6 weeks or 4 weeks prior to my due date, but I went 10 days past my due date and had to go in to be induced becuase I was still just a 1+. I think the doctor must have added the + on there to make me feel better. *laughs* As it tured out they used a "ripening agent" I don't remember the name of to help with dialation and they were going to start me on pit in the morning, but my daughter was born at 7:48am. She'll be 2 1/2 by the time the baby gets here.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that toxiccrimsonpain. I have had a cold so I know what you're talking about with the coughing. I also have a sore throat (aparently from the post-nasal drip). Are you all ready for the arrival of your little one?
Last time I went in for my check up evertyhing was still okay. My next appointment I have to take the glucose test though. YUCK!

Yeah, my OB said that she's not worried 'cause with my last pregnancy I scored a 71, (120+ is when you have problems) but I still have to take it.
I remeber that well. My walk is slowed down a little but, my problem isn't that I've carried either of my babies in the back, but that I have a long torso. I still have people tellin' me that I don't even look pregnant and I feel so huge (24 weeks. I'm defenitly visible)!
In fact with my daughter I worked right up until I had her and I even had a couple of shifts past my due date (she was 10 days late) and I still had people that didn't believe that I was pregnant. Drove me insane!

Allen had the hickups the other day and it felt like he was doing jumping jacks I thought it was so cute. I always get so gitty when he's being real squirmy (Unless he's kicking my blatter lol) I'm so excited and I just want him out of me belly and with us.

I have sooooo hit the nesting phase. I mopped my floor today on my hands and knees instead of with an acutal mop. I'm stressin' about how we don't really have any room here in our appartment for a baby and I just want to get things ready for the baby.
I feel her kicking up in my ribs a lot now, and if she's not up in my ribs then she's punching my bladder. *laughs* Daddy and big sister have both felt the baby kick now though. ^_^ heart

*wanders in* I have 30 days til my due date. My body isn't handling it like it did with my first child. I can't stand up for 8 hours lifting and pushing objects that you would think as light when you weren't pregnant. I swear that men target me in the grocery store when they see my prengnant , because They always come through my life with five cases of bottled water and 30lb bags of litter and animal food. Grrr!!!
Yeah, venting. haha.

Mor Righ Anu: You work in a grocery store then? I worked as a cashieer in a grocery store during my first pregnancy. I ended up getting a doctor's note putting me on the express checkstand (the only ones with belts) because I coudln't bend over the carts or lift heavey objects. In fact I made a post about it early on in this thread http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=1575939#38074798 there may or may not be something applicable to you there.
Okay, update on me. I went in for my OB appointment on Thursday and they did the blood draw for my glucose test. Got the results back today and everything tests normal. Yay!!! I can't even tell you how relieved I am to know I'm not going to have to be dealing with needles and all that fun stuff. rolleyes Thursday night I had a couple of contractions, and I talked to the nurse today about it. My mom was totally worried 'cause I still have almost 3 months to my due date. I explained to the nurse that I had a couple and I laid down and put my feet up and I haven't had any since. She said that it's nothing to worry about then. She also told me that dehydratoin and too much activity can bring this on, seeing as how I've been so busy nesting/cleaning lately I guess I'm just going to have to be more careful how much I try to get done.
