Kijibwa finishes licking one of his paws, moving a bit furthering up the leg. Keeping his paw up to his nose he peers over it at the soaking serval. His ears flatten and he lowers his paw- looking at K'Tinka sheepishly.
"Hehe," He murmurs, watching the little creature approach him not looking happy.

Pouncing on the poor cub, K'tinka found that he couldn't make the other move, no matter how hard he tried.
Pushing,
shoving,
... or headbutting.
Giving up, K'tinka lay down next to the cub and looked rather mopey, turning his attention to the pool.
"... look, there's a fish."
( Amoret is going to enter the next pose, so if you'd like Kijibwa to hear her, he can~ <3 )

Kijibwa stays sitting up, just watching the Serval shove at him with a silly grin on his face- like K'Tinka as he may, it still was very amusing he could be pushed over. It clearly doesn't bother him that K'Tinka is trying such a thing.
But the mention of fish makes him start, which isn't good for fishing sitting half in the water, "Fish?" He scrambles to his feet, backing out of the water and looks around for the fish- his head moving back and fourth..
His full attention on trying to find the fish, he doesn't notice anything around him..

"Right there." K'tinka pointed with a paw, showing the cub where the grey thing was swimming lazily in circles. "Maybe you can catch it, yeah?" The Serval sat with a smug look on his face.
This would be fun to watch.

"There?" Kiji repeated, following the pointing paw to the spot where the fish was swimming. He grins micheviously and crouches low, his tail swinging back and fourth- he could catch things, just like Amoret caught the food for him in the desert.
He springs foreward into the water with a yelp as he ends up only half in the water- his back end still on land. Despite this, he paws at the water in the direction of the fish, still wanting to catch it.
Lucky for K'tinka, this time he isn't splashed.

"Don't fret, food is here, little one," Murmured the soothing voice again, and if they both looked up, they would see Amoret standing in front of a freshly killed gazelle, blood fresh on her paws. Silently, she lumbered over to the pool to wash off.
"Thank you, mistress," Cooed K'tinka, whom bounded over to the gazelle after nudging Kijibwa to go in front of him.

"Huh?" the cub's paw falls with a splash to the water as he turns around at the sound of the voice. His blue eyes light up when he sees Amoret and the gazelle. He grins and scrambles back to his feet, ignoring the mud along his chest from the splashing around the fish, and goes over to the gazelle with K'tinka's nudging.
"Food!" He proclaims, putting his front paws onto the body and standing partially on it as though he was the one who'd hunted it.

"I'm sorry to say that we cannot stay for much longer... but I will seek you out again. I know your scent." Amoret murmured softly, sitting down and shoving a ripped piece of carcass at K'tinka with favor.
"Thank you, mistress," The Serval murmured with gusto, chewing down slowly as he thought.

Kijibwa gives a happy, purr-like growl before putting his paws back on the ground and eating- he doesn't seem to listen to anything Amoret says at the moment, too occupied eating.
It was good to eat. He'd have to learn to hunt.

"I'm afraid... that I have to leave you here, as of this moment." Amoret replied softly. "If you'd like, I can teach you to hunt, before I go, so that you are able to survive." She gave a gentle, loving grin.
K'tinka snorted.

Ah, Amoret is a smart one! The cub scrambles from the food over to the lioness eagerly- food and survival are two important things, even someone his size can recognize that.
"Hunt for food?" He asks, tilting his head and smilling.

"Yes. Hunt for food." A smile lit her face, as she sat erect, her tail curling around her paws.
"Would you like to hunt for large game? I can teach you the basics, as well as how to take them down."
Aha, she had to have siblings, by the way she was treating him! After all, she was rather affectionate, and loved teaching younger ones.

The cub sits down infront of Amoret, mimicing her posture and trying to curl his own tail around his legs but finding it's too short to curl the same as hers.
He nods eagerly when she questions him- hunting big stuff meant more food. More food is always good. It doesn't occur to him just yet that all he could do while he's this small is irritate something large.

"Always hunt game that's the same size as you." Reaching out a paw, she ruffled Kijibwa's hair affectionately. "Like K'tinka, for example."
"Hey!" He drew himself up, fur expanding. "I'm not a delicacy!"
"Of course not. This way, Kijibwa." She turned and bounded off.

"Aw," Kiji pouts when she tells him the most obvious rule to hunting; not faced with something much bigger than him he feels he could take on anything. But he grins mischeviously through his ruffled fur when Amoret points out that K'tinka is his size.
He stands up and follows after Amoret, but not without swatting playfully in K'tinka's direction on his way by.
