Ok, so everyone seems to be sketching out their own sidestories possibly running parallel to Enfys's insanity. Here's mine for Iris.
elfy and I will try for breeding slots next round. Hopefully that means I end up with a pregnant Iris, who tries to tell Enfys "oh look more babbies 8D" only to find he's gone nuts. In order to protect her unborn children, she will leave (physically, not breaking lifemating bond) to try and find somewhere safe.
She reckons the older kids are old enough to protect themselves, and realises she can't do much for them against Enfys in this state anyway.
I think... sae and Hai are due next with whatever plans they have for mountains?

Haisyn Fierra Couple of random notes: Rikki isn't purely Pryrin or Sylrin, he's pretty much smack dab in the middle. He's just fine eating plants, but he does have cravings for meat... something he's mostly ignored up to this point, thinking it was simply curiosity due to Kesh and Temper's diets. If anyone was up for it I'd like to have a brief and perhaps somewhat humorous interlude where Rikki sneaks off "by himself" to try and catch a rabbit, trips over his own hooves, and promptly gets chuckled at by whatever herd member followed him out. XD The omnivore diet is actually the standard diet for Kirin - they are neither Pryrin nor Sylrin, but just Kirin. Sylrin and Pryrin are the "specialized" or derivative sub types from the normal Kirin omnivore stock.

*feels like a dunce* I knew that but it didn't really register while I was typing. XD wee~
Still, though, with a family that seems to stick mostly to one or the other I think it would leave Rikki rather confused that he feels equally drawn both. XD He silly. I haven't had time to get him any friends outside the herd yet for him to figure out THINGS LIKE THAT HAPPEN. lawl
Sae and I were sorta poking at some plans in PMs a while back but that's going to occur sometime after they actually get into the mountains... I'm not really clear on precisely how the decision to move there is going to take place. I mean... if Iris runs to the mountains, if the others are going to follow her then, or if it's going to be a decision made more after things get sorted out with Enfys and Iris comes back, or what. XD; *confuddled*

I'd like to know at what point the herd goes to the mountains too. It's starting to get awkward RPing Prabhat, even though he isn't with the herd. I'm just not sure where "home" is or at what point "home" will be the Crescent mountains.

OK, time for status report.
Enfys has officially snapped. Llia's vampire stally Alucard will help Enfys get rehabilitated. Hai, we can do an RP later this month where Enfys started snapping, and that can be the point where Enfys decides to leave. If Llia wants to join this if we get a slot next round, that's fine with me, it'll give him a greater incentive to leave. <3 For those of you who really, really want to see what batshit insane psychopathic Enfys looks like...you can look through Enfys' RP with Dafina. It's ongoing, and I think most of you will be happy that I opted *against* having the family/herd around when Enfys officially snaps. Insane kirin and kirkani are utterly terrifying for normal kirin; imagine a totally insane kirkani with a family and herd to potentially prey on. I seriously did not want to upset anyone more than necessary.
As for a homeland...some of us are already RPing with the Crescent Mountains as a home range, I believe. What we can do is have an RP with everyone who's interested who would be a part of the herd during this time moving into the Crescent Mountains. I know this is going to be very difficult to pull off, and we don't like RPs like this, but if the majority of those of us in the greater herd want to do this RP, it'll be set up once I cease traveling this summer, which will be at the start of the next event. I'm not starting anything new until then in terms of RPs.
Hai, you're correct, a good chunk of this plot is development, mostly for Enfys' benefit, though it would be good for the herd and the family to get through a problem like this. I know it's hard on everyone, but I'll try to make this episode in the herd and family's history as quick and painless as possible. ^^;

Neither Alucard nor Iris will have anything to do with this plot until Iris and Enfys snag a breeding slot. This pregnancy was supposed to be the trigger for the herd's migration -> to the mountains and away from Enfys, to protect the next generation. The delay is highly unfortunate, but I don't see any other reason for Iris to willingly leave Enfys... and I thought we arranged we would at least try for a breeding slot shortly after I said we could use Alucard.
I simply don't have the time or energy to come up with another reason for Iris + herd to up and go. My muse is dead - that's why I've been ending RP lately as opposed to starting. Sorry.

A pregnant Iris sounds like the best reason for them to flee to the Crescent Mountains. That should be an... interesting... RP. Hopefully not too crazy! D:

The mega-herd called Nomads has been redefined by Fel and myself to encompass a new type of kirin social structure that nobody in any kind of position to make this decision could predict we'd need. Nomads will be the first Tribe in Aerithe. A Tribe is a group of kirin herds that choose to live in the same area and affiliate themselves together. As a result, the families that make up Nomads are each their own herd, and Nomads will not only be helping to define what a herd is in Aerithe--it will be the defining Tribe in the shop.
I'm sorry the plot has stagnated, and that this may be causing complications for Nomads. We will try to get back on track ASAP. While I wait for enough to clear off Llia's breedings plate for us to go for a second Iris x Enfys slot, I am accepting RPs with an insane Enfys to further the plots of others, or to create plots for other kirin while we wait. Hopefully, Enfys will be back with the herd by Xmas. I've also been asked by a variety of members that Enfys have RPs with his pryrin descendants and his grandchildren, as a chance to bond with the grandkids and as a chance to discuss with the pryrin descendants what it means to be a pryrin. Both RPs I will arrange as ORPs for those affected, and hope to have the entire series of RPs wrapped up by late January, which is Enfys' birthday and when I hope to enter Enfys for the shop's first set of elder slots. ^^;
When the breeding slots occur, I will go into RP overdrive with Enfys and all my RPs with other kirin will be lower priority than Enfys RPs, for the sake of Enfys and all of Nomads, so Nomads can move into the Crescent Mountain Range, so Enfys can start his insane phase, so he can come home, meet the grandkids, talk with the pryrin kirindae in his family, and so that Aerithe's first Tribe can be organized. We will go with the organization scheme so far set up: a council of herd leaders meeting together at a designated boulder.
Also...I think it's high time we tried to get back to some of the matters we haven't addressed on the first page. We've dealt with leadership and territory, we've worked out organization pretty well...anything anyone else wants to bring up in further developing Nomads? I'm also curious which herds we've got so far; please, if you've got kirin in Nomads, could you specify which branch of the herd you'd like them to belong to? ^^; So far, Enfys, Abhyagni, and Tuyet each have their own valley. I believe Ashia and Wystan also have a valley, but everything else is up in the air. ^^;

I believe that Ashia and Wystan have a small valley branched off Enfys and Iris's Valley. Somewhere close to the gem cave where they first played when they were foals. Though not too sure as of yet, but definitely branching off her parent's valley. ^^ *Has to talk to zak about it all* Then I can get back to ya. 3nodding

You've already got Abhy listed and Prabhat won't really be a part of Nomads. D:

We're the first tribe? biggrin Awesome.
I am also sorry the plot has stagnated -- Alucard has not stretched his legs in a long time, and he is my first Kirin in the shop. Like you said, it's really too bad about the wait, but the plate was very much clear for you before Gemini and Yanagi came of age. Yours, however, was not clear for me. (:
... Moving rapidly on!
I am not quite sure this is the right time to hold a discussion. .-. Quite a few of our members are unable to join us. Akima (is Chione still with us?) be busy with school, Mei Silja is, last I heard, still down with swine flu, SilverLynx is on Gaia hiatus to deal with RL (which I fully support, and therefore will not count lack of activity against her -- elfy, PM me if you really want to know about her reasons), and Sadi has a trip round the corner ending smack on the day Fel opens her breeding slots.
I know Mei's Niji broke off from the herd on his own, evidenced by his appearance (and words) in Nerissa x Nova's preggoo RP. Perhaps he will find Nomads at our home base one day and be reunited with the family. The rest of them, I can't vouch for. At any rate, expect tags here to be slow.

Llia: Thank you for the update, luff. *Snuggus tightly and hopes that everything goes better for Akima, Mei, SilverLynx, and Sadi* Though I had thought that Temper was separating from the herd.... oO
Which reminds me, I need to work out with Corny whether Kari and Kanobi will be moving back in with Abhy and Lak, possibly bringing Kanobi's family with them. ^^; And I should see what's going with Geyser concerning Abhy and Lak's other son, Upa. ^^;

You're right on Temper, but if I recall Lynx also wanted a father-son PRP between them where Temper reveals his... diet. I thought this was one of the "RP requests" you were talking about. ^^" I guess it's really not my place to assume things about other people's Kirin.

Yeah, looking back, this was on our To-Do list, but I'd still be willing to do it at some stage, when Lynx comes back. Given that Temper's planning on leaving, that'll be a PRP, in all probability. ^^;

Having grandkids in the herd will be good for Abhy! Little mini-heart attacks, running around and being adorable.
Also, hope things look up for everybody. sad
