Baikou seems even more surprised to hear the creature speak aloud; her curiosity is growing so strong that it is practically radiating off her. But rather than ask questions, she echoes Hitsuga's invitation to join them.
And Hitsuga may claim the soup is nothing special, but Baikou's discerning taste buds have told her otherwise~ Hitsuga is quite a good cook, really. She laughs, then makes her way slowly back into the kitchen so she can take her time arranging herself in her chair.

Ruokei hesitated at the suggestion of knowing someone else, then moved to the door, peeking out and blinking a bit as he remembered. With a soft little smile, he turned, looking at Baikou and Hitsuga for a moment before speaking.
Ruokei has already been to the place across the street, but he hasn't had udon there. He did have some tea that he forgot to drink, though.
A sheepish look crept over his face as he remembered how he'd left the tea untouched, and rather than dwell on it, he looked to Baikou.
Can Ruokei help Baikou with the soup at all?

Ruokei needn't worry himself, as he is their guest, Hitsuga assures the young one.
....and if anyone ought to be serving the others, after all, it ought to be the one who made it, he adds with a lame sort of chuckle, accompanying it with gentle urging to go sit at the table with Baikou and...
Would Sailien care to have something as well...? he inquires, somewhat apologetic. He is not very familiar with what young master's friend is or what he eats... sweatdrop

Baikou has already prepared the bowls, so neither of the men have anything to do~ They should just sit themselves down and...
Ah, that's right. Food for Sailien. Perhaps vegetables are not suitable for his species? She echoes Hitsuga's feelings -- but a little bit less apologetically, more direct and curious. "We have eggs, don't we? ... But I don't think we have any meat..." She starts puttering over to the refrigerator to check.

Ruokei blushed as he moved to sit down, his gaze dropping to the soup with some relief. It looked delicious to him, a mix of vegetables that were identifiable, rather than the square chunks that came in the cans Mireille brought home from the store. Folding his hands together on his lap, he looked quietly up at Hitsuga, waiting for a clue as to when was proper to actually take the first bite.
Sailien abandoned Ruokei to his meal, moving to sit between Baikou and the refrigerator as quickly as he could.
Sailien needs nothing, he told them, his ears flicking up in good cheer and tail thumping on the ground. Sailien knows how to hunt for what he wants, when he wants it.
