When Yarstzi asked him to take his time and to calm down, Aryaisha replied quite seriously, "Sweets, unless you can make the time to slow down we don't have all that much time to waste." As he leaned against the lioness's side. He watched the sky and the sun with some trepidation, nightfall brings danger to a healthy lion let alone one who is injured.
He smiled and, if he could have would have, blushed when she licked his muzzle "Aww shucks ma'am, twernt nothin'." He said jokingly before answering her truthfully, "I don't know how to stop being confusing"
They had been walking for about twenty more minutes when Ary saw what looked like a large group of trees in the distance. "Is that where we are heading?" He asked trying to keep the pain from his voice as they slowly walked closer and closer to the trees and the sun sunk lower and lower.

Yaretzi nodded her head, agreeing with him completely. She looked up to the sky and it was already getting dark, at a faster rate than she was used to. Almost as if the Sun was trying to pick on them, or damn them even. She sighed, trying to think of something to say to lighten the mood. She smirked having thought of something, "well..." she said in a conspirator like voice, "Don't tell anyone, but I'm really a sun goddess in disguise!" She chuckled lightly and in a confused sounding voice, "However, the sun doesn't seem to be listening to me at the moment, quite a shame."
"Good. I wouldn't change you for the world Aryaisha, you're going to make a female very happy someday." She told him truthfully. Not thinking of herself as being that female. Not really wanting to for that matter really. She enjoyed Aryaisha's company, quite a bit more than she'd enjoyed anyone's company really. but her inner demon didn't approve of him, and that could turn out deadly. She wondered, sadly, if she would ever have the chance at getting a mate, or a friend for that matter.
She looked up from her musings when he asked about the oasis and she nodded her head, picking up the pace slightly. Yaretzi knew that she herself was probably the scariest thing that they would run into here, but she didn't want Aryaisha to know that. Finally, they were at the tree's edge, and soon they were at the water. She would help him into the water, and let him soak. She would wait until he finally fell asleep, laying next to him if needed, and then, finally, with the cover of night. She would leave. It was in her nature.

Aryaisha kept a weary eye on the sun, his thoughts completly internal but when Yaretzi tried to lighten the mood with her tale of being a goddess, while it was possible it was not very likely. Playing along with her he said in a conspiratorial voice, "Oh good that means I can tell you my secret identity as well," he paused and took a quick look around while still moving slowly along, "I am the leader of a secret pride where we act like lunatics and dance wildly in the moonlight and I am off two frames of mind about this quick setting of the sun, one it posses danger but the other means I get to see my beloved moon sooner." He wanted to say something witty about being a god but he just couldn't think all that clearly so instead he came up with some strange idea about a moon based strange pride, all of which was fictional as far as he knew.
When Yaretzi said that he would make some female happy one day he paused in shock. For the first time in a very long time he didn't have a witty comment or really any thing to say. Ary was not ignorant in the way of love but he has only met one or two females that he had that type of relationship with and a permanent relationship had never even crossed his mind. He quickly, or a fast as he could, caught up to Yaretzi while stammering out, "I... haven't even... thought of something like that."
Ary sighed when they entered the shade of the oasis and when they got to the waters edge he gingerly navigated the bank of the little spring. With a relived sigh he sunk down into the water, hissing a bit in pain as the cold water contacted the open claw marks. After a moment of relaxing Ary decided that a bit of controlled fun wouldn't be a bad idea and besides in his eyes Yaretzi was still a little fun deprived. With a mischievous smile on his face he deliberately slapped his paw down in the shallow water causing water to spray both lions.
((im figuring he will doze off in the next one. oh and i loved her reaction better this way so it was a good typo XD))

((Sorry, I'd thought I'd replied to this already >.> ;; ))
Yaretzi laughed and shook her head. "Well if that's true... Then I feel even worse about this... with a hit like that, I've deprived you of the ability to dance like a mad man for a few days, maybe even a week..." She pouted and looked at him as he went into the water. He really was taking this too easily. She couldn't understand. He really was just so... confusing. It was FRUSTRATING. Not that she would show it, she'd already imposed enough on him, already injured him physically.
She would have said something about him needing to think about finding himself a female to settle down with, but that thought was splashed from her mind when she felt the cold water hit her fur. She Hissed and jumped away from the water. Giving him a sour and hateful look. "THAT'S REALLY COLD!" She screeched indignantly, hiding behind a small bush, looking at him from in between spaces in the leaves. "Real Mature."

Aryiasha just laughed, "They told me to stop dancing anyway, I was scaring away the prides food with my horrendous dancing. Now I just get to sit and watch while my people dance and laugh, but its all good since I can still do my special dance were I can act like a complete fool, sorta like now." He grinned a stupid grin then busted out laughing.
When Yaretzi yelled at him and said 'real mature' from behind a bush Ary just laughed. After a moment of catching his breath he apologized "Sorry, didn't think it was that cold, I can't feel it anymore since my butt is numb." He grinned, trying to get Yaretzi in on the joke.
He claimed out of the water and with a shake, dislodged most of the cold water from his fur, leaving it matted and funky looking. "Well what do you know my butt does have a face." He said looking back at the swirls and patterns the wet fur got stuck in. "Always wondered why that one guy called me a 'buttface'" He said remember the time when he was just a cub.
After flopping down underneath a nearby tree, and taking a few moments to contort his body to make sure the claw marks were clean. He stretched out and let the warm breeze dry his damp fur and warm his numb butt. The day had been long so it was not surprising that he felt his eyes get heavy and sleep tug at his mind. Ary shifted a bit before crossing his front paws and laid his head on them as a makeshift pillow. He smiled as he drifted to sleep, his black main shifting a little making him look a little like rambunctious cub who was taking a nap.

"your head is numb..." Yaretzi grumbled to herself as she walked out from behind the bushes, to help him walk into a safe spot and lay, a little too early unfortunately as she was sprayed with even more water... SMELLY water. "Ugh~" She let out as she too shook out her entire fur. "Really? I would imagine they called you annoying more than anything." She TRIED to tease back.
She sauntered over to where he was laying, happy to see that her inflicted injuries weren't seeming to cause him too much pain now. She sat beside him, almost in a protective sort of way, waiting for him to fall asleep. She wondered if they would meet again? She hoped so, he was rather entertaining. She smiled down at him and resisted the urge to play with his hair...
Yaretzi waited for a few minutes, before slowly rising to her feet. She sniffed around, making sure there was nothing to bother him, nothing to concern her; there wasn't. She smiled to herself, happy to know that he'd be safe here... for the night at least, away from her. She yawned, she too was in desperate need of sleep. Not that she would get any, not until she was far away from Aryiasha. She'd hurt him once, she did not want to hurt him again.
"It was nice meeting you Ary~" she said in a low voice, not wanting to wake him up. "It was interesting finding someone to consider and call a friend." She looked away from him as she began to put more and more distance between them. "I'm sure we'll meet again..."

Aryashia really was dozing but when the warmth of Yaretzi's body withdrew from his side. He didn't move or do anything that would tell her that he was awake. He knew that she would leave, he just hoped that she would stay longer with him. When she was saying her good byes Ary was debating on if he should try to convince her to stay but decided that if she felt she needed to leave then he would let her go.
As Yaretzi walked off Ary opened his eyes and shifted enough that he was facing the retreating back of the lioness, "Good bye my friend, till we meet again." He said, his voice carried on the wind in the soft twilight .
