Uh-oh. "Nonono....Sammi, don't cry..." Jaella murmured, reaching out to pat the little girl on the head. She looked down at Reiya, trying to will her to stay asleep and not cry. Uh-oh; someone was in quite a predicament. What to do, what to do!

Sammi sniffled and wiped her eyes. "I wan win." She complained with a sniffle. "I wan win!" Suddenly, a burst of flame came from her fingertips. It didn't go anywhere, it just hung there as if in warning. "I wan win." She was starting to have a temper tantrum. How could she lose? She never lost!
But it never came to mind that her parents let her win. It never even crossed her mind that she'd lost fairly.

Jaella's eyes widened a bit as she quickly brought her hand back. Uh-oh! "Hey, it's okay, Sammi....no one can win all the time, you know. It'll be okay." Alright, she was chin-deep in a sticky situation and sinking fast. "Now, just put the fire out, okay?"

Sammi started to cry. Her infant mind only told her one thing--that she should have won, and since she hadn't won, it was the end of the world. But then, she suddenly stopped. The fire retreated. She sniffled, and looked up at Jae. "I sowwy." She managed. "I sowwy, Kitty. I 'uv ooo."

Jaella blinked as the baby started crying. "Hey now....shh....it's okay. Don't have to be sorry." she murmured, petting the baby's hair in an attempt to comfort the child. "It's okay..." She glanced down to Reiya, making sure she was asleep before gently hugging Sammi.

Sammi hugged her. "Kitty?" She said. "I win." She told the teenager almost sternly. "I win, Kitty. We win. Boff win." She told her friend. "I big soon--and den I win more."
Reiya wasn't actually asleep. She was merely pretending. The clever infant was smiling, listening to her sister. Oh, how amusing.

Jaella was tired of arguing and, frankly, didn't want to risk being on the wrong end of the fire. "Alright, we both win." she agreed, nodding. She then smiled lightly, giggling. "I'm sure you will." she said, nodding her head.

Since I'm on Darcy's-- This is Thali pretending to be Darcy, shhh. Don't tell anyone!
Sammi gave the teenager a bright smile. "We boff win." She agreed happily. "Kitty?" She said, with a tilt of her head. "Uv ooo." But then she noticed that her sister's eyes were open. The smile faded. She frowned.
"Wei!" She whined. "Nuh- sweepy. Ooo wie." Lying was obviously one of the worst offenses a toddler could commit.

Jaella smiled. Aww, isn't that adorable! "Love you too, Sammi." she said, ruffling the girls hair. She then blinked at the sudden outburst, looking down at Reiya. "Hey, it's okay. Maybe she just woke up. We were being pretty loud....."

But Sammi was already telling her sister off. Both babbling and using words she'd only recently picked up, she informed her sister that 'wying' was bad, and that if she kept 'wying', Sammi would 'buwn' her ''air'. On purpose, too.
Reiya gave Jaella an innocent look, and stuck her thumb in her mouth. She gazed at her sister for a moment, before taking her thumb out--and making a face.

Jaella blinked, watching the exchange between the infants, obviously having no clue what she was to do. Luckily, she was saved by the bell, or in this case, her phone. The opening song to Shugo Chara filled the room before Jaella managed to flip open the phone. She listened, then sighed. "I have to go...." she said, pouting as she shut the phone. "Mom needs me to run a couple more errands." The teen was not happy about this.

Once Sammi heard the word go, she clung tightly to Jaella, and started to sniffle. "Kitty no go!" She whined, sniffling. "Kitty stay. My Kitty." Her sister was more laid back, and simply muttered a fairwell.
"Buh-bye." The infant said.
"It was nice seeing you again, Jaella." Thali said, taking Reiya from the teen. "Make sure you come see us soon! Sammi seems to have found a friend in you."

Jaella gave Sammi a hug. "I'd love to stay, but I have to go, Sammi." she explained, gently prying the infant off her. "Don't worry, I'll come visit again, promise!" She said, handing the little one over to the other adult, Ben. She then bowed. "Thank you for having me in your home." she said, her grin breaking the formality of her statement. "Bye!" And, with a wave and a turn, she was heading out the door.
