I'm not sure what's worse: no page at all, or having a page where EVERYTHING ON IT IS WRONG. x_x That happened a couple years ago to my former band. I was so mad...And all the pictures in there made everyone look like crap. x_x It was horrible, though, that they had ALL the names wrong. Like you'd see a picture of a guy and it would say like "Abby!" and we're like "wtf? That's Hector!" or something.
At least with no page, they won't screw up your names and genders. >>

That's wrong. Have you BD go up and tell them if they don't get a page then you will raise money for the band only, and nothing goes to the school.

I might be shot for this, but my old high school gave my band 3 to 4 pages in our year book. It might be that their afride of what the band would do to them if they forgot about us...

We have 3 pages that include clubs + activities. (Three+ pages for sports plus a collage of people's sports picture. -.-')
But that isn't fair. Everyone should be recognized.
Maybe talk to your principal or yearbook club? Or maybe request a special band yearbook. :O

and the only 4 extra-cirricular activities we have are baseball, band, chorus and football

same thing happened with my yearbook! they also left out drama too! the people who made them suck! rolleyes

thts mean we only got one page but we had section pictures tht were so small u could barely make out the faces in them. and the school lied to us they told our section tht we would get to throw pies at the directors because we raised the most money on a fundraising thing but we never got to!

o my god same here, but not as bad.
we got a quarter of a page for band thats it. the friggen bowling team got more than us, and no one cares about them

because the band people are like the role models...or supposedly sweatdrop
But that is so unfair I hope your band Director complained about it?

thats sucks!!! im going to 8th grade, and we get a picture for each class!! but i saw the high schools year book adn it showed chess club and water polo but i barely showed band! there are like 450 people in that band too!! all it showed was the section leaders!

wow.
That is seriously messed up.
If it makes you feel any better, it took two years for our band to even be recognized by the student body.
:/ They STILL don't even announce our UIL scores on the announcments. But they ALLLWWWAAAYYYSS announce the orchestra's...and they REALLY suck.
Everyone in our school thinks our band sucks because of previous years but we're actually pretty good.
