neutral dot dot dot I have obviously never gotten that far in the manga or the series, since I am completely lost right now. sweatdrop
Melon Cop comes in the Manga in the first volume of World's Most Wanted, and in the sixth TV volume put out by Pioneer/Geneon. They show her on the previews in the episode with the Cinderella Stamp, and they call the Melon Cop episode "Revenge of La Nerd".
Ah, okay. Yeah, everytime I go to the bookstore they don't have number 10 in the manga, which is the next book I need. I guess I could just get the next series, since they alway have those. I remember seeing that preview though. Just haven't seen the episode.

yeah, that gets annoying when they never have the one book that you want. That has happene to me before so I had the bookstore order one for me, and thats my solution.

I think that Zenigata in 'Dead or alive' is cool. I guess it was like the Maga because Monkey Punch was the director. 3nodding

In the one, Steal Napolians Dictionary or whatever (wow, I just murdered his name, I think XD) Zenigata was almost hatable, I thought. I didn't like him in that one. He was too much of a jerk. neutral

I never thought of it that way, but I do remember something feeling odd about that movie.
I didn't think he was a jerk, but it is out of character with the girl and all. Espcially at the end.

Yeah, I don't know. My overall feelings of him afterwords was that I didn't like him. I think one of the problems was it seemed like he had too many personalities. It was as if there were five Zenigata's running around or something.

Yeah, Zenigata did switch personalities a bit.
Between the girl, and working for the goverment, and the high rise hotel, and riding first class in the airplane...
There were some different Zenigatas.
Never thought about it before. confused

Yeah, I guess the obsessed, bumbling idiot Zenigata had the day off or something.

Another thing that bugs me is when the characters like somebody and then when they do the usual ten years ago flashback, the people they like were almost kids. gonk It's sort of disturbing...especially when the main characters don't really seem to change in looks.

Agree with you about the flashbacks.
It's like the Lupin gang took anti-aging pills or something.
It's a science fiction story!
How does the Lupin gang keep from aging?
Some mysterious substanse they stole?
Goemon's anceint chinese medicine?

The world will never know.

I guess I'd rather have the obsessed, bumbling idiot Zenigata in the movies, because that's who I'm used to. I also don't read the Manga, so I don't really see any other, except the different personalitys he has in the movies.

And about the flashback things....There is one flash back in the anime that's really weird, Lupin is remembering a girl he used to know, and he seemed to only know her about....one day and they were showing scenes that seemed to take up about three days. But I deter! Anyway, Lupin said it was ten years ago, but he looked not a day passed whatever age he is. Another thing is that he told Jigen "I was much cooler back then", but he had brown hair, and a afro like hair-doo, except that it was too short to be an afro. He looked like a different man..... confused

I guess that's the advantage of being a main character is you never change or age. Plus you get a never ending supply of one outfit. 3nodding

Was that the episode in the third series, Rinu? And I thought Lupin always had brown hair? Because whenever the put a highlight or whatever on it, it's brown. Maybe it's like a black brown or something.

So, maybe the real reason they don't age is because none of them wants to do laundry. wink
