Faolan's eyes widened, and then he grinned. "Oh, wife. That'll just make me want to ravish you silly. I'll go along, though. I do like spendin' time with the old man, after all."

Ellandra giggled. "I know," she said simply, then went back to the front room and grabbed her notebook and pen from where she'd dropped them earlier during her almost-panic attack.

Sliding off the bed, Faolan followed her to the front room, Zia in tow. "We still have a little time. He gave us an hour. Least we could do is eat some of the donuts he brought us."

Ellandra shook her head a little at the thought ofthe donuts - she didn't really want to at any of those. "All right, but. . . I'm not very hungry; you eat all the donuts you want," she said, flipping through the pages of her notebook idly.

Faolan's ears went up. "Reeeaaally?" He looked over at the bag the way a puppy might look at a chewbone. "I can really have them all?"

Ellandra giggled at the expression of Faolan's face. "Just don't make yourself sick. . . "

Oh, psh. The guy had been raised on deep-fried everything and twinkie dogs. A few donuts would do nothing to his stomach. He bounded over and dug into the bag, getting out a glazed donut and sat down, taking a bite and getting that "omgbliss" look again.
Zia watched from the bedroom doorway, quirking a brow, then looked at Elle, pointing to its owner. "You let him keep that up and he won't wanna sleep with you anymore." He moseyed over to the table and manged to get a donut out of the bag before Fao slapped a hand down on it with a "MINE!" look to the Essentic.

Ellandra giggled again. "Ohhhhhhh, he will," she said, moving over to the table and, feeling rather mischevious and evil, stroked one of his ears lightly.

Faolan whimpered, shivering with pleasure, and dropped the donut he was holding, his eyes closing slightly. His other ear twitched, almost begging for touches, too.

"No more right now, Faolan," Ellandra said lowly, dragging one finger gently over his other ear. "Some of us work in the morning, not just the evening," she said lightly, watching as Rags - when had he gotten back inside? - stole a donut and left with it. She was having a bit too much fun teasing him, where had this side of her come from? How strange. . . . but she kind of liked it.

Faolan gripped the table, shuddering more, a soft moan escaping his lips. "Elle, p-please. Either w-we finish this and Keagan w-will just have to accept us bein' late, or you l-leave off my ears and let m-me calm down." He looked up at her, his expression clearly saying he prefered the former but would accept the latter.

Ellandra stopped touching his ears, choosing to kiss the top of his head instead. "Later, I promise," she said quietly. "Besides, you don't want Rags taking all of the donuts, do you?" she asked as kitty came back for another helping of the junk food.

Faolan swept the cat off the table with the back of his arm and looked up at Elle. "You know, wife, after this walkabout with Keagan is over, you should talk to some of the ladies around the carnival with kids. They'd know best how to raise a family underfoot."

"I - I know I should," Ellandra said quietly, shyness rising up and choking off her voice a bit. "But. . . I don't know how to ask those - those sorts of questions. . ." She chewed her lip nervously, grey eyes a bit wide.

Faolan smiled and got up, hugging Ellandra. "You just ask them, lass. Might be good to talk with other women to know what to expect with the pregnancy and all. I'll go with you if you want till you feel comfortable with them on your own." He rocked the woman gently side-to-side, not wanting her to work herself up into a panic again.
