Sevilin flew to the mirror to gaze at himself with his new badassery. Turning to his side, he rolled up his sheer sleeve and with as mean a look he could muster, the little frei flexed his puny bicep. Oh yes, the package was complete. When Riv came to float behind him, he moved over so they could pose together. "Grrrrr....! WOO! Badass!!" Sevilin raised his hand up to his friend for a high-five.
"H'oogosh, what time is it? We`rika's prolly either passed out on the bar or looking for us.... Prolly should head back...." Hopefully We`rika wouldn't be too upset.

Unfortunately, the happiness couldn't last all day and when they finally returned to the bar there was a police cruiser in front with an irate short Mexican standing beside them, tapping his foot frantically.
"Uh oh..." He attempted to disappear behind Riv, but it wasn't working. Inevitably We`rika turned around, his eyes growing big before a dark and dangerous scowl twisted his broad face.
"Wha' ********> is wrong with you?!" He walked bristly towards the two raevans, with fiery eyes only for Sevilin. "Wha--I--I though' ya'd been kidnapped again! Jesus ********' Chris'! How could ya do tha' ta me?! I have been standing here worried sick for hours, terrified ya'd be found a mile away broken and dead, bu' here ya are! Comin' back down th'road like nothing's wrong!
"And you!" Finally his attention hit Rivener. "Some role model you are! ............................ Is that.... a tattoo?! Jes--Jes!!" Too frustrated to form words any longer, We`rika took hold of Sevilin by his arm and tugged him away from his fellow raeven. "Party's over, boys. Go home, Riv.
All the sea fairy could do was look back at Riv and mouth the word "Sorry...."

Rivener chuckled at Sevilin posing like that, playing along and making gansta faces in the mirror, responding to the enthusiastic high-five with much more amusement than honest high-fiveness. Seeing Sev try to look that badass was immensely funny, and that tattoo looked a little weird under the dainty see-through sleeve, but Rivener didn't make fun. The sea fairy was happy, and that was all that mattered.
"I'm sure Werika's fine," Rivener said, waving off the fairy's concern.

As it happened, Werika was far from fine. Rivener's eyes widened at the sight of the police cars, and when the Huichol approached Sevilin to yell at the poor boy, Riv hung back meekly. Wow, Werika was freaking out a lot more than Riv would have ever thought him capable. He really must care for his Raevan, despite all appearances showing him to be a neglectful a*****e.
"Kidnapped?" Riv whispered to himself, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow. Sev had been kidnapped?
Before Riv could wonder too much about that, Werika turned to him with flashing eyes, making the Sigel flinch and straighten, eyes wide. Once again, before Riv could think to formulate a reply, Werika's eyes had roved to Sev's arm, spotting the tattoo...
As the angry Mexican dragged off his charge, Riv lifted a hand and waved goodbye, half-smirking sheepishly at the mouthed word Sevilin offered. "Good luck!" Riv mouthed back before turning to head home as Werika suggested. Riv would have to explain his own tattoo to Aphi...
