Really it depends on who it is and what the offense is. If it's just someone being stupid he yells and screams and gives pushups. But if it's getting in the way of band practice, he might chuck stuff at them, or yell and scream. One time he threw his clipboard off the tower 'o power.. I wasn't there but I was told it was funny.

Mine doesn't really get mad. He crosses his arms and tells you he's disapointed in you and makes you feel all bad and stuff.

my BD gets all red in the face, then chooses one of the section leaders (who actually knows their part) to conduct. then, the BD goes back into the percussion section and plays the bass drum as loud as she can.
some of the band seems to think it's because she wants us to hear the down-beat or something, but i just think it's because she needs to hit something before she explodes and goes "Evil Warrior Princess" on our asses.

durning marching band if my BD caught us chewing gum he had to run 2 laps with a bass drum strapped to us
he got mad one day and kicked over his latter
he has thrown a drumstick
he has kicked walls
he has gotten mad enough to where he went and cranked up the music so loud and didnt conduct.
we were paradeing one day and we were not doing a cadence right and he started to do "jim bo" and he was like "this way not this way* and started thrusting and then threw water on the tuba section xD

Me: Breaks batons
Usually brings (ME) into his problems, for some reason, and makes me fun of me for snorting when I laugh
Blames me for everything, even when I'm sitting
Friends director: Mostly just yells at us and throws stuff

My old band director would always get mad at the trumpets for some reason...(probably because the 1st trumpet blasted loud enough for the whole section and we didn't listen much... ever) But she would always get red and yell at us and one time she threw the baton at us and missed.... we were the biggest section in the back row in front of percussion, kinda hard to miss.

My band director has a three year old son. Instead of getting mad and throwing pencils, batons, and folders like he used to do, he winds up the toy and it makes this absolutely TERRIBLE sound.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. My middle school band director NEVER threw stands or batons. Nope. Those were expensive. Instead, she'd throw chalk-board erasers. & they always had chalk dust on them. Man, that woman had an arm! One time, she threw one at me so hard, it hit me in the forehead & made me flip over backwards in my chair! Luckily, I saved my trumpet. Then, she ran out of erasers(I think she threw most of them at me, 'cuz I'd keep them) & went out & bought a whole bunch, like 30 or 40, & made the drummers grind up a bunch a chalk & coat the erasers with it. God, that woman was crazy. My High School band director... Oh, gawd. If you so much as move a toe without his permission, you get a choice of: 50 pushups, 50 suicides, 10 laps(around a 1/2 mile track), or 50 jumping jacks. He yells alot, too.
