Thali looked to Zach. "So.. I'm running out of things to talk about." She admitted, with a frown and a pause. She absentmindedly took a strand of hair and put it behind one of her pointed ears. "What kind of music do you play?" She asked.

Alexis grinned at Thali's brutal honesty.
Zach thought about it for a moment. "Good question!" he said. "Well, we occasionally just do cover songs, but we have an indie vibe. What do you guys think?" Jayce nodded in agreement. Seems fitting. he replied.

Thali smiled. "Indie's good." She commented, and glanced around the restaurant for something to talk about. "So, have you guys seen anyone especially unusual?" She asked, curious. "I mean--with long pointy ears, or fangs, or wings, or anything especially cool."

Jayce got close to commenting about how much of a dumb question that is, but Alexis held one of his hands to refrain him. "I don't think so." she said, blinking."
Zach whirred around, he thought he remembered someone entering the restaurant that looked how Thali described. "Maybe. . ." he said.

Thali frowned slightly, she'd always found mythical creatures fascinating. (Of course she would, she was one!) Thali looked in the direction Zach had. She noticed the two men she'd seen earlier. Her face broke out into a smile. "I wonder what they are." She muttered. "They don't look like fae."

The three turned around, to see the people at the table. "Fae?" Zach asked, curious. He began to wonder how long have people like them been around.

"It's another word for fairy." Thali explained. "But they seem to prefer being called fae--because, if you think fairy, you're going to end up thinking of the tiny things that light up woods at night (Those are fireflies), or Tinkerbell. They really don't like being compared to Tinkerbell."
Thali knew this from first hand experience. She'd once made Risa angry, when talking about Peter Pan. It was a bad idea.

((I think he's offline, so we can't bring him in this today. xD))
The group stared at the elf as if lobsters were crawling out of her ears.
"Okay, we'll go with that." Alexis said, not really sure what to say. She and Zach looked confused, while Jayce appeared unconvinced.

Thali frowned, and bravely returned their stares. "What?" She asked, finally growing bored of their staring contest. They would have won anyway, she lost interest in such things fairly quickly. "Don't tell me you've never heard of fae before.. You've seen me though, so I know you know about elves, right? You at least know about us.."

The group remained silent, not really sure what to say, and they slowly exchanged glances. Alexis seemed hesitant, but finally said. ". . . I think we should go." The three placed money on the table, quickly getting up. "Nice meeting you, Thali." Zach said with a grin, and the group left the restaurant.
"I gotta go to work," Zach said, as he got in his car. "I'll see you guys at practice."
"Okay, bye." Alexis said, staying with Jayce. Zach drove off, and they got in Jayce's car. "Well, that was weird." Alexis said.
More like total bullshit. Jayce replied, before starting his car. With shrug, Alexis shut her door, and they went to Jayce's house.

Ceres went along the sidewalk, her grey tail swishing behind her. Fingering the money in her shirt pocket, she kept on searching for a restaurant that wouldn't throw her out. That got after annoying after five times. Finally, she came across a place that looked friendly enough. If they throw me out, I'll go complain to Mercury... she thought. She slithered about two feet into the diner. No security guards running towards her to throw her on the curb. This was a good sign. Breathing a sigh of relief, she looked around the restaurant to find a place to sit when she spotted someone sitting all alone. Despite her conscience telling her otherwise, Ceres made her way over to that person. Finally reaching the table, she smiled sweetly and asked, "'Ello...Do you mind if I sit here with you?" It was then that she noticed the person had...pointed ears?

Thali looked up. After being abandoned by the three, she'd felt rather lonely. "Sure, you can sit here." She said with a smile. "My name's Thali, what's yours?" She asked, with a polite tilt of her head. She took a sip of her Dr. Pepper. "I've never seen you around here, where are you from?" She looked genuinely curious, as she took another sip of her soda.

Ceres was slightly relieved that this new person was friendly. Seating herself with some great effort in the chair opposite the person while readjusting her long tail, she grinned. "M'name's Ceres. Pleasure to meet ya, Thali." Inside, she winced. Could she have sounded any less polite? At least try to use correct grammar! When she heard the "where-she-was-from" question, Ceres was a bit apprehensive. After all, didn't Mercury always tell her not to give out her personal information to any stranger. "Uh..." she started. "Well, I, uh..." She started to blush. Trying to will herself to stop being embarrassed, she accidentally bent the fork she had in her scarred right hand in half. Eyes wide open now, she gingerly placed it back on the napkin.
