As she drew nearer to the campfire, Naomi saw someone already there. And they brought marshmellows! Naomi was happy on the inside. She started to gather some sticks on the ground to roast the marshmellows. Good. Now, all we need is someone to bring the chocolate and Graham crackers and we've got smores.

Vanilla walked out to the campfire. The girl from earlier was already sitting by the campfire with a bag or marshmallows. She heard a rustling in the brush and turned to see Naomi with a handful of sticks. When she got to the clearing, she sat on a log next to the girl. "Hi, I'm Vanilla! What's your name?"

As Naomi walked towards the campfire she saw Vanilla introducing herself to the new girl. She dropped the sticks next to a log and sat down.

Jack turned in surprise. "Oh! Um, I'm Mia... Nice to meet you!" He got surprised again when there was another girl that sat down and saw the sticks. "Umm... Hello... I'm Mia." He showed the marshmallows with a shy smile. "Want some...?"

Naomi turned to Mia and smiled. "I'm Naomi." She looked down at the marshmellows, "Sure." Naomi grabbed a stick and roasted herself a marshmellow.

Vanilla too grabbed a a stick and started roasting a marshmallow. "Thanks guys. I wonder when dinner is?" As she said that, Melvin Highwater walked over from his side of the woods carrying hot dogs, sausages, and buns. "Hello girls, and welcome to our introductory dinner! Sorry I'm late." He put the tray he was carrying with all the food on it down near the fire. "Feel free to dig in. Just throw a hot dog or sausage onto your stick and roast it in the fire. I'll be right back, I forgot the s'mores supplies." And with that, he left.

"Wow. This is turning out to be quite the feast." Vanilla said as she walked over to grab a hot dog and bun. She pulled her marshmallow off the stick then ate it while she roasted her hot dog.
Melvin came back with Graham crackers, chocolate bars, and another bag of marshmallows. He also had ketchup, mustard, and relish. "Hello girls. I'm Melvin and I own the store by the lake. If you need anything at all, feel free to stop in and I'll get it for you. I also manage this campsite for the owner, so I'll be providing you with all of your meals. So dig in, and when we're all done eating, we can tell scary stories over the fire."
He sat the second tray next to the first and sat down on the log opposite the girls.

After eating about 3 smores and a hotdog, Naomi was stuffed. "I can't eat anymore. Now, who wants to start the story telling?"

Vanilla thought of a story she may be able to tell. She new lots but were there any that she could repeat word for word?
Melvin said "I'll start off tonight's festivities. With a tale of abduction. Once, when I was a very young lad, I heard a story that so scared me, that it stuck forever in my memory. This is that story.
It was a normal summer's night. There was nothing terribly extraordinary about it. Until they came. There was a family that lived out in the woods. They didn't have much in the way of communication, except an old truck that they could drive into town. No phone, no television. Not even a radio. These were very different times, mind you.
Well, on the particular night we are speaking of now, strange things began happening. For one, the plumbing shut off. Now this happened every so often, so nobody was worried. The thing that really got the family scared, was the way the animals were all acting. Scared. Vicious. Like something really bad was going down, only everything seemed to be normal. the family couldn't figure it out.
The oldest and youngest son both went out together to catch fireflies, not noticing the strange things that so worried their parents. When the youngest boy looked up into the sky, he giggled. "Hey Johnny, look! The stars are moving. Heee, those silly stars." Johnny looked up, and saw that what his younger brother had said was true. The stars in the sky were zooming around, it was like nothing he had ever seen before. He went inside to get his parents and sister, so they too could see this strange phenomena.
"What in hell---" Their father said. Suddenly, one of those "stars" started getting bigger and bigger, until they realized that it wasn't a star. It was a strange craft hovering in the air. The youngest son ran and hid when he saw a beam of light come down. From his hiding place, he saw that his family had vanished. The craft then flew away with his family, never to be seen again."

Naomi twiddles a small stick between her fingers That wasn't so spooky. "Ok, now it's my turn.
A young girl is left home alone with only her dog to protect her. When night approaches, she locks all the doors and tries to lock all the windows, but one won’t close. She decides to leave it unlocked and goes to bed. Her dog takes its customary place under her bed.
In the deep of night she awakens to a dripping sound coming from the bathroom.
DRIP
DRIP
The girl is too scared to go check so she reaches her hand under the bed. She feels a reassuring lick from her dog and falls back to sleep. She reawakens to the dripping sound,
DRIP
DRIP
reaches her hand down to the dog where she feels the reassuring lick and falls back to sleep. Once more she awakens to the dripping sound.
DRIP
DRIP
She reaches her hand down and feels the lick of her dog.
DRIP
DRIP
Now curious about the dripping sound, she gets up and slowly walks towards the bathroom,
DRIP
DRIP
the dripping sound getting louder as she approaches.
DRIP
DRIP
She reaches the bathroom and turns on the light. She is greeted by a horrific sight; hanging from the shower nozzle is her dog, with its throat slit open and its blood dripping into the bathtub.
DRIP
DRIP
Something on the bathroom mirror catches her eye she turns around. Written on the bathroom mirror in blood are the words 'HUMANS CAN LICK TOO'."

Jack sat there, his mouth open and his chocolate long forgotten. "... S-Scary... What was the thing in the sky...?? And what happened to the girl...?" He was frightened, but also captivated by the stories.

Melvin let out a deep belly laugh. "Well Mia, who knows? That thing could have been anything. As for the girl, you'll have to ask Miss Naomi here."
Vanilla was still. These were some good stories and she was enjoying herself. She was really glad she decided to come on this trip.
