Xar'zith took the offered ear plugs gratefully and inserted them in his ears instantly relieved when golden silence met him. He reclined back in the crate with a smile on his face, waiting for when "Kai" would give him the go ahead to move again. It was rather too bad that he hadn't brought some smoke stuff with him...as smoking would heighten his state of pleasure immensely.
The three guards who had pursued the two running figures were quickly getting annoyed by the turn of events. They hadn't thought that their actions would be impeded by anyone, especially since they were after the fellows they were certain had killed their master's acquaintance. The tallest of the three had tried to force himself into the building that he had seen the two assassins disappear in only to be stopped a few feet inside the building by a rather disgruntled male. While he wasn't imposing in size, his whole demeanor was quite lewd and brusque.
They had tried reasoning with him, and pointing out that they were pursuing murders...the male didn't seem to care. All he cared about was that they were trespassing in his private holdings. He kept repeating very firmly, loudly and angrily that he wanted them to leave immediately..the three guards didn't budge. The guard to the left of the disgruntled male was getting frustrated by the whole thing and had reached for his weapon when another male strode into the building.
This fellow..seemed rather insane and highly unhinged. The s**t had truly hit the ceiling now.

Jyses blinked as his mirror vibrated in its pocket, pulling it out and opening it with a click. "Ooh, hello brother." He removed the plugs, pocketing them. "Mmm, mmm...yes I did...I'm sorry." He rolled his eyes. "Yes, yes...I will." His eye brow twitched. "...Go drown yourself in paperwork." He snapped it shut. "Sibblings."
Illy walked towards them slowly, his form slowly drawing to full height, eyes blazing eletritric blue. "Well, haven't we made a mistake," he drawled dipping his fingers in a pouch and pulling them out, white ash staining his fingers and drifting. He took a deep breath, brushing the ash against his lips and throat and spoke deep and commanding. "DROP" The ash glowed and magic laced the comand.

Even with the earplugs, Xar was able to hear the click of the mirror when "Kai" opened it..of course that was probably because he was in the same room with him. Below him he could hear a faint rumbling sound and sounds of fighting...so he figured the guards hadn't just given up when confronted by Kai's relations. He turned in his box and watched "Kai" with curious eyes, wondering who could be contacting him. He reached up and worked on earplug slightly out of his ear so he could hear what "Kai" was saying. A grin crossed his face as the other conversed and his face began to twitch from whatever was being said.
"Ah..Can't say I've ever had a problem with siblings..but I imagine they can drive one crazy"
Below..the guards were indeed battling. Battling for their very lives. Of course it would have been smarter for them to actually disperse when the mage had showed up. Instead while the first guard had been compelled to drop his weapon the other two had instantly jumped into fighting. What they hadn't counted on was the larger drow to jump to defend the mage. They had stupidly thought that they would be able to get one over on the mage so that they could prevent their friend from succumbing to his spell and leaving them short handed.
Now they were fighting, grunting and trying to keep from getting killed by the mage and his friend. It was a rather short lived battle, as they hadn't thought they were outnumbered. It was a mistake on their parts and one that they didn't live long enough to regret.

"Mmm, lucky you, I have si..five elder siblings and two elder and one baby cousin." Jysayne stretches listening to the faint crackle pop of his spine. "Mmm," he brushed his hand though his hair, working out the pins and letting the silky whiteness fall down in a loose wave. "Want to see what my baby cousin and brother is doing?"
Illiamaste was quite enjoying himself. Three well place kicks had more or less crippled his target, one being a bit of a foul blow with his steal tip boot and a rather tender part of male anatomy. But all was fair in love or war...what ever that actually meant.
Shyn’ar who always seemed more pen and paperish was doing better then expected…but he was Elena spawn and his aunt was a very, very, scary woman. Ooohhh! Unprotected back!
Illy cheerfully broke from his inner dialogue to smash his elbow into the base of some poor saps neck.

Xar shrugged his shoulders at the other's words. " Yeah well..I was at the bottom of the pecking order in my mercenary group..so I suppose it was pretty much the same thing for the both of us."
Xar couldn't help but hear the crackling of the other's spine as "Kai" stretched out. He put his hands under his legs trying to fight the urge to work on the other's back. Such was the curse of having gone through training to cater to other drow in reducing stress with massage work.
"Uh..sure." Xar replied..and then vacated his crate to walk over to where Jyses was.
In the room below..one of the guards was now crumpled up on the floor in a fetal position holding his nether area and moaning in agony from the kick he had received. The other guard had crumpled from the unexpected blow to the back of his neck and was laying unresponsive on the ground. The two responsible for their injuries stood over them with matching maniacal grins plastered over their faces.

Slipping the deadly hair pins back into his wide flowing sleeves, Jysayne started down the stairs. "Mm, well this could have gone better..." he muttered listening to the groaning. "Now I likely have clean up duty." He hated clean up duty.
Illy looked at his cousin before heading up the stairs. "Jysi! Everything is clear!"
Shyn'ar look down at the downed guards and calmly had his own men drag them away somewhere below the building. He was going to get a bucket and clean off the stones flooring.

Xar watched "Kai" slip the hair pins back into his sleeves and then start towards the way they had come. Xar held back for a few moments...not sure if he should risk following him. He should probably slip away and head back to his group before they missed him..but something enticed him to put it off and slip after "Kai" hiding in the shadows as best as he could.
He kept close to the assassin's side, feeling rather unsure of how he would be received by "Kai's" siblings. He was rather put off when one of them called the assassin by a different name. He had after all..assumed that Kai wasn't his proper name.
"So..your name is really Jysi?" He asked guardely staring at the other male. "Figures you'd want to keep that a secret." He added with a snort.
Then Xar's gaze was following the three guard's that were being dragged away to be disposed of. He eyed the two tall forms of Jysi's sibling and cousin rather warily. It was only then that He became wary...just what was the assassin going to do with him now? If he had been smart he should have made a run for it..but instead he stood where he was looking around while the hairs on the back of his neck rose in fright.

"Jysayne actually," he admitted with a slight twitch. Illy never really got the whole 'I'm Kai around company we don't know, please'. "Jyses please, for short...Kai is sort of,"he paused trying to think of the right word..."stage name really, only used when I'm working." He smiled walking to his cousin and accepted the rather exuberant hug with minimal wincing. "Cousin, you are going to break me."
Illy sat him down with a beam, looking over and waved cheerfully at Xar. "Hello, you must of been the distraction." He paused, slidding his eyes from top to bottom and then back up to Xar's eyes."Nice to meet you. Jysi, Shar went to get a bucket of water. I belive you are stuck on cleaning duty...anything else you need? I should get back to father."
Ick...cleaning duty. "No, tell uncle I'm sorry about the little accident and hope it was amusing." He said drly, waiting for his eldest brother to return. "Care to help me scrub the stone floor Xar?"

Xar's nerves quieted down with Jysayne's explanation. "Ah..that I can understand. Probably a smart thing to use a stage name, especially in your line of work." Xar replied with a slight smile.
He couldn't help but smile rather amused at the over eager hug Jyses' cousin gave the assassin. He waved back with a grin on his face. "I believe I was. I'm Xar, nice to meet you too."
Xar grinned upon hearing that the other had cleaning duty..that was definitely going to take Jyses some time..he mused to himself glancing around at the blood spattered floor. Someone had really taken quite a lot of joy in beating the crap out of the guards. Poor saps. They had truly been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hopefully no one would come looking for them before the mess got cleaned up.
"Uh..I guess I could. I really should be getting back to the caravan wagon before the others show up. I wouldn't want to get left behind...again." Xar replied.

"Oooh about that, Xar make sure you watch out which house your troop aligns themselves with. I rather not have to kill you if we meet on oppose sides during the upcoming war,” he spoke as he folded the elaborate outer layers of his kimono and set them aside on a small table. No use getting blood on the expensive parts.
Kicking a box out he pulled out a tightly roll thing of padding, and knelt in his black shift slightly self conscious. He reached over dipping a finger in the blood, giving a small cranky hiss. “This is going to take hours, damn cousin and eldest brother for being overzealous. You can use some of the padding if you want, save your knees the strain.” Jyses dipped his hand in the bucket his brother left, pulling out a scrub brush and started to attack the stones.

"Uh...okay." Xar replied..rather confused as to what Jyses was talking about. His troop never had the opportunity to align themselves with a house, as they were almost always commissioned by cities to work the uninhabited areas keeping the roads safe for travelers against the wild beasts that roamed there.
"The only thing I fight against are wild rabid beasts..so I think we're both safe in that area." Xar replied with a shrug of his shoulders, as he watched the other shed his silky outer kimono and lay it aside.
Xar looked over his armor, and eyed the floor...it probably would be smart to shed his armor so that it would pick up any of the blood on the floor. He pulled it off easily and set it aside, out of reach and out of sight so that no one would get any ideas of filching it and grabbed some padding from the box Jyses had gotten his own. He didn't say anything in return to the other's complaints of overzealous fighting. He figured..that if they hadn't been so into getting rid of the guards he and Jyses could have met a much different fate.
He set his padding across from Jyses and got to work immediately..scrubbing away at the floor with gusto..and doing a rather good job at cleaning. Within ten minutes the area in front of him was sparkling clean and he was already moving on to another area. He grinned at Jyses with a toothy grin and got to work again..enjoying the repeatative motion and sound of the brush scrubbing the ground.

"Wonderful!" Jysayne replied and started on the floor, glaring at it as he scrubbed as if the power of his anger at doing the chore would make the blood migrate away from his side...or evaporate all together.
"If you like cleaning so much Xar, perhaps brother can get you a job scrubbing his inventory." Jyses said with a slightly sarcastic lit as he shifted to a second spot to scrub. "So, your band never temporary hire out to houses for a few months as extra fighters?"

Xar glared up at Jyses..pausing in scrubbing the floor. "Right. And you'd make quite the dancing entertainer, makeup, skimpy clothes and all." he retorted with a snort.
He finished his second area as Jyses finished his first and moved on to another area. "I don't particularly like cleaning..I just assumed you'd want to get it done with as fast as possible so we could go do something else before I have to get back. And..no. My troop is full of idiots that no house would want to hire, and that's why the cities hire us to keep the roads safe for travelers..as no one really cares if they survive or not."

"Done it before..."Jyses muttered eyeing the bucket before just spilling the water onto the titles. If it soaked then maybe the blood would lift out easier...or something like that. He went back to tackling the stone floor.
"Mmm...maybe you should just quite then. Find a troop that actually does have a brain and will bring you higher status or something thing." Starts putting his back into scrubbing. "What where you thinking of doing? Cause I had nothing planned besides going back to my house and taking a relaxing soak."

"Really?" Xar was rather flabbergasted that the other had dressed up as a female. "Was it a dare or something?" He backed up to avoid the water that spilled across the tiles of the floor so not to soak it up in his padding or in the knees of his pants. Then he grabbed another bucket of soapy water and got to work a few feet away..making short work of the bloody tiles.
"If I could quit I would. I have at least 10 more years of service left before I can leave the group." Xar replied..feeling rather pissed off at having to spend that much more time with the group. He had already had his fill of the brain deads that he had to deal with on a daily basis.
He paused in his work to brush his hair back out of his face with the back of his hand and peer over at the now sweat glistening chest of Jyses before he answered.
"Well..I figured I might as well go to a bathhouse and get a steam bath..as I am rather rank. I'm betting you wouldn't want to debase yourself in joining me in a public bathhouse though. And..a massage would be nice. I get so many knots and tense muscles from the work I do. It would be a nice change to be able to relax for one night. I really don't have to be back until tomorrow mid morning."
