Sophie turned to look at the building, grinning. She didn't care that it was crumbled, it was still amaizing to her. "Wo-o-ow." She whispered, her blue eyes going wide, taking in the sight. She stepped closser to the magnificent ruins. "I think its beautifull." She glanced all along its length and its heigth, and back again to Lloyd. "Do you think its safe to go inside?" She asked, her voice laced and dripping with excitment.

Lloyd was chuckling at Sophie's reaction. "Glad you find it so interesting." He said smiling, "Yeah I think we'll be okay to go in. As long as we don't go in too far or head to any different levels." He began heading towards the steps that led up to the entrance.

Sophie nodded, following after him into the temple. "Do you know why humans built these?" She asked, looking at the magnificently built walls, her eyes lighting up when she caught sight of a human statue. it was slightly dammaged but for the most part it was fully intact. The human body stood magnificently, hair waving down its back it was reaching out to something with a face of sorrow. "I bet its a female."

Lloyd nodded his head slowly. "From what I can gather and what I've heard it's to worship gods and goddesses." He said, "I don't know if they're different ones from the ones we have though." He looked at the statue and shook his head with a small laugh. "You'd probably be right with it having hair that long." He was walking carefully through the temple; watching his step and the walls and ceiling around them. Never knew when something might crumble and fall down towards you.

"Thats interesting that we share things in common with them." Sophie followed Lloyed as he continued on, but she turned her head to look back at the statue, witch in turn made her plow her hurt shoulder into some loose rocks, shifing them. She let out a surprised yelp as she jumped and looked at her shoulder. A rumbling sounded above her as the wall of rubble was now uneven, it slowly began to slide out from under its self and tward Sophie. Sophie yelped a litle louder this time and scrambled back as far as she could away from the falling rocks that could very likly crush her.

Lloyd nodded. "Yes I suppose it is interesting." He said looking ahead at the archway, "I think the next room should be interesting.... Sophie?" He looked back to Sophie as he heard her yelp and the rumble of falling stones. "Sophie! Watch out!" He called turning and darting towards her. His legs ached and screamed in pain at the sudden running but he ignored it as he rushed to save her.
He couldn't let anything happen to her.... he just couldn't and didn't quite know why. He would of course go save anyone who needed saving but it felt different when it was Sophie. He rushed up to her and pushed her out of the way of the falling rocks. His momentum carried him out from under the rocks but not all of them. His hind legs got hit by several smaller rocks and one of the bigger ones even cut him. This caused his back legs to give out and made his fall to the ground. The rest of the wall fell to the ground with a big boom just behind Lloyd. Lloyd looked around at the scattered rocks around him and saw how lucky he had been. If he had been going any slower he would have been under that big pile. "Whew. That was close. Are you okay Sophie?"

Eyes wide, Sophie gave a jerky nodd. Shaken she turned to look at Lloyd and dropped her ears. "I'm so sorry Lloyd!" Tears sprang from her eyes and she wasn't quite sure why. It was more of a mixture of fear, concern and something else. The fact that if Lloyd had not been so fast him, or both of them would be under the rubble, made her chest clench even tighter in fear. "Are you alright?" She immidiatly stood and began looking him over, licking any cut she found untill she felt it was okay to move on to the next. She felt horrible for what happened, and she should have been watching where she was going. She didn't notice her own hurt shoulder throbbing as she licked his leg wound. After that she wouldn't be surprised if he never wanted to see her again, and that thought hurt the most out of them all, and she wasn't quite sure why yet.

Lloyd just stayed laying on the ground waiting for the pain in his back legs to go away. "It's okay Sophie. It's not really your fault. The wall would have fallen soon anyway. Besides your not hurt and I'm barely hurt, just a couple of scratches." He said looking at her. His eyes widened for a minute when she began licking his cuts and then filled with some feeling (ooo it's love! xD). "Are you okay Sophie?" He said moving as if to stand. Instead he just sat up and nudged her lightly. "Thank you for cleaning my scratches." He said giving her a lick on the side of her muzzle.

Sophie's tears stopped as sudden as they had started when Lloyd licked her muzzle. A tickling feeling started in her stomach and made her heart pound for a different reason. A blush rose to her cheeks, deepening their color. She managed a shaky smile. She sat down too and looked at the pile of rocks that was once a magnificent wall. "I really should watch where I'm walking..."

Lloyd pulled back to look over Sophie to make sure she was alright. It was then he noticed her blushing and the shaky smile. He was confused for a moment as to why she'd be blushing when it hit him that he had basically kissed her. He blushed a bit as well turning his brown fur darker while the cream got a hint of pink. "If you don't watch where you're walking I will. I'll make sure nothing happens to you." He said trying to figure out why she made him feel this way.

Sophie looked at him, smiling softly. "Yeah, but what about when I go back to the Neutral territory?" The thought hit her like a pack of helixes on a deer and she realized that she didn't want to go back to the neutral teritory. There was nothing there for her, but here she had a friend she could be with. And maybe become more than friends... The thought brought her up short, but it made sence in her head. Why else would she be feeling all bashful? A moment passed before she added, "Maybe I don't have to?"

Lloyd was starting to figure out that he likes Sophie as in he is falling in love with her like. "...... Don't go back." He said softly, "You can stay here with me. I'll always be able to watch after you then." He smiled softly and thumped his tail against the floor. He really does want her to stay.... It wouldn't be the same without her here now.

Sophie's face flushed in another blush as she nodded. "It makes more sence for me to stay here than to go back. I don't have anything in the neutral territory but here I have you." Her own tail swished quickly over the dusty ground of the temple floor. By now she needed a bath so bad she could almost feel the dirt weighing her coat, but for once, she ignored the impulse to lick herself clean and just watched Lloyed. "Maybe we should get out of here...before the rest of the temple comes down arround us." She said softly looking from Lloyd to the remaining walls and back, a small smile on her lips. It was always nice to know you were wanted.

"You most certainly do have me." Lloyd said with a smirk, "And yes that does sound like a good idea. Don't want to have to try and save you from the entire temple. I don't think we'd make it." He smiled at her and stood up. He waited until she began heading back before following her. "I must say.... you are quite dirty. Would you like to head to the river and bathe?"

Sophie blushed when he said she had him. It made her feel giddy. She laughed and nodded, getting up and shaking out her fur. It was in a sad state and a cloud of dust rose from it as she shook it. She sighed and looked over her shoulder at Lloyd and nodded in agreement at his offer. "I could definatly use a bath."
