"I would have to agree. My father..my adopted...well..." He sighed, trying to explain something without going into a full story. Surly it would bore the lioness to death.

Lai simply cocked her head to one side, her ears pricking up a bit and her eyebrows raising in curiosity.

He caught her curious look and smiled. "Do you have time for a story? I hope it is interesting enough." He then sat down, relaxing a bit after standing in one place for so long without moving.

"As I said I was raised here but born elsewhere. Well, when I was only a few days old, my family's Pride was attacked. Blood was shed all around my mother and I. Before she could stop me I ran. My Father was away on a hunting trip."
He continued. "I was found a few days later by a big green lion named Grinch. He raised me as his own son and we had many adventures together. I did find my Mother had been killed. And my...well I don't consider him a father, but he's around now too. I'm just out for a break now."
Aidan looked up at her as he finished, hoping he'd not bored her.

Lai nodded thoughtfully a moment, "I'm sorry to hear about your pride... And your mother. Bloodshed is a most unfortunate occurrence..." She looked down into the water a moment, the light of her eye dully reflecting off of the shimmering surface.

Lai waved a paw a bit dismissively, "Well, since there's the two of us and just one body, we end up arguing a lot. We're on the move, too, to we occasionally switch off... But she insists that I get us lost, so she doesn't let me navigate often."

"Sure," she replied with a small, gentle smile. "We agree on food, and when to hunt... How the hunt should go... What's safe and what's not. Things pertaining to survival mostly... But those are the most essential, so agreeing on them makes staying alive much easier."

Lai sighed, glancing up to the sky. They didn't have any particular place to be, but this was the longest time they had spent in one place that didn't involve eating or sleeping, and Min was beginning to get antsy. "I suppose it's the best option."
