Mirelle scoffed. "I don't think you would want go to my place, what with it being behind a dumpster in an alley full of idiot... tomcats..."
Mirelle's voice broke off as Aidan nibbled on her neck.
Well... ahem... that was... pleasant...
Mirelle was still bushing slightly as Aidan got out of the pool.
"OK, you won. Now help me out." She said, holding out her hand to him.

He took her hand and lifted her easily to the ground.
"well until we can find you a new place, the shead in the park has just opened. Val used to live there before she joined a territory. Help yourself."
he grinned and ran off.

Mirelle smiled to herself.
Today had been a good day:
Thrashed a few tomcats,
Read a favorite book,
Been introduced, quite suddenly, to a new, and rather beautiful place,
And relearned that life could really be quite enjoyable at times.
Mirelle began to pick her way back the way they came, searching for her book.
Once she found it, she headed off for her alley to pick up the rest over her belongings and give the tomcats one last thrashing, for old times sake.
Then it was off to the beginning of a new life.
Today was indeed a good day...
