Well, First I draw thumbnails like this:

To get an idea of the page layout. I first write the text on the side and see how the panels will fit. Then I go to penciling the page.
I can't find my disk for my table so I haven't had much practice with it. (Only done one drawing with it) so I ink by hand as well. Because I know I'm going to shrink the image quite a lot after the scan, it's no big deal for me to use cheap materials to make it.
I scan at 300dpi, desaturate to remove the color, increase the contrast and use the dodge tool on Highlight to remove the "dust" and "shadows" that the paper gives when scanned.
After, I edit. The first thing I do is shirk it (so the text & edits don't look distorted)
I fix the panel lines, add speed lines (when needed), add the dialog and sound effects, etc (all done in Photoshop)
