At least you sound better than my cooking, Exxos. sweatdrop Every member of the family is afraid of my cooking. I couldn't tell the difference between parsley and cilantro. If you put me in a cooking class, I would fail big time. Most of my food is inedible (either burnt, salty or wtf). xp The only thing I'm good at is making slushies, smoothies or basic soup. sweatdrop

Heh FieryLavaElf Every member of the family is afraid of my cooking. Since I don't get to eat much or well, I would probably enjoy your food – at least until I learned to cook myself. FieryLavaElf I couldn't tell the difference between parsley and cilantro. Smell it, cilantro smells like cilantro, parsley does not really have much of a smell at all. FieryLavaElf If you put me in a cooking class, I would fail big time. And I would tell you it was alright and then pop 20 chlordiazepoxide-clidinium so your food did not kill me. biggrin FieryLavaElf Most of my food is inedible (either burnt, salty or wtf). xp I can deal with burnt and wtf. Hello folks.
Well, I have been lurking around this guild a while before I requested to join, then lurking around a bit more before I finally made this post (Camwen, I have admired your avi all the while). But finally, to say hello to you all!
So I'm Starling Sidhe. You folks can all just call me Starling, Star, Starshine, whatever floats your boat.
I turned 23 last Tuesday crying .
Music, art, and literature are my passions. I like music from symphonic metal to trip hop to Scandinavian folk and more, and art from Gustav Doré to Arthur Rackham to Brom and then some. I write a lot, do a lot of interactive storytelling (narrative, fancy RP), but as far as literature goes, I mostly just read modern authors.
I also play some video games, though probably less than I did when I was younger. I'm a huge fan of Fallout 3 (and pretty much anything else post-apocalyptic).
I have a cat named Phoenix. He's my best friend, and extremely awesome. I want to promote him as an international celebrity.

I had to look up those artists since the names weren't familiar but the work I found by Dore and Rackham is exactly the kind of thing I like. Thank you for mentioning them. wink

Hello, hello. I'm Daypaw, 22, from central Ohio. I'm currently a college student and I work full time.
Errr.... I'm bad at these sorts of posts, so bear with me.
I've been on Gaia since 2003. I like to draw, occasionally I draw avatar art as practice. I'm planning to do a webcomic in the future.
I like writing stories, and I like RP with -small- groups, but I'm very particular about what stories I'll participate in.
I like music of all sorts; I really only can't listen to hard death metal or gangster rap, or really twangy country. My two favorite artists are Loreena McKennitt and Peter Gabriel.
I'm interested in folklore in general; particularly modern folk groups and folklore around disasters and ghost ships such as the Edmund Fitzgerald.
I'm a video gamer; I love RPG and Puzzle games. My personal favorites are Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, also a fan of the final fantasy series and DDR.
I am a fan of Asian culture and fashion in general; I'm not a particularly huge anime fan, but I'll still go to local conventions for the shopping and to see all the fanfare and cosplay. I've cosplayed as part of a Battle Royale group. I did not play a survivor ;3
Erm... I like animals. I currently own one dog, four cats, and a parakeet- there are two additional dogs in my house that belong to other people.
I have one brother and one sister, no children, not currently romantically involved.
That's about it.
