Cody stilled himself even more as Vinny returned to the area he was hiding out in; searching around the nearby trees, under something by the playground, in the nearby bushes. Vinny was so close, it made the toddler worry that he would be found. If Vinny looked in the pine tree only a few feet away from the bush, he would easily find the toddler hiding in the branches. That is, if he could see him.

Vinny was becoming rather bored with the game. Though he was a child of humility, it didn't mean he liked to wait to find someone. "Alright, you win!" He called. "Come out! We can play tag, if you like!"
After he said this, he took one more glance around the park, to see if he could find the toddler before he revealed where he'd been hiding. Maybe he wouldn't have to lose, after all. Maybe they could tie.

Cody grinned and shifted off the tree branch before crawling under the prickly pine needle branches and out into the sunlight. His hair had been slightly messed up by the needles and branches with several bits of both stuck in it as well. "I win," he said, giggling as he walked over to the older spawn, excited that Vinny had given up right before finding his ever elusive hiding spot.
"Tag sounds like fun," the toddler added, pulling out a small twig and several pine needles from his pink-red hair before trying to fix it with his fingers. After a minute or so, the toddler finally gave up, leaving it slightly less messed up than before. "You it first or I?"

Vinny frowned slightly, he'd been so close to finding Cody too! He looked up at the sky, the sun was starting to set, the sky surrounding it had turned orange and pink. "I think, we'll have to play tag another day." He said with a smile. "It's getting late--and I'm sure your Mom and Dad are going to be wanting dinner soon."
He paused, and smiled again. "It was nice meeting you, Cody. I look forward to playing with you again."

"Awh, kay. Nice meeting you, too, Vinny!" Cody replied, looking rather sad that they had to part so soon. He could see his mother getting up from the bench, preparing to leave once the toddler wandered over.
"Can't wait t' see again, too. Bai Vinny!" the toddler giggled, waving as he turned to head back to Shadai. He wished he could stay longer, but could wait for the next time they would meet. Perhaps it won't be long before they do meet up again and could play tag and Hide-n-seek once again.
