Pellumb followed after Miami, making sure not to get stuck in the ground, even after the mud disappeared. He looked up from his feet over to her. "Okay..."

"If we don't find humans or shrimp maybe we will find something else?" Miami was all for an adventure. She normally just hung around the water, but today after meeting someone knew she wanted to something fun.

Pellumb shrugged. "M-maybe... That w-would be fun." He had sorta been looking for an adventure when he stumbled across her, so if he joined her for one it would be even more fun.

Miami smiled and nodded to the male. "Okay, then!" She found her way to the grass and looked around. "Where to next?" The flamingo girl looked to the tree line figuring that would be the way they needed to go but not fully sure.

Pellumb looked around, trying to remember from which way he came. Lost, he pointed to where she was looking. "M-maybe there?" He asked, though almost sure she would think it was an alright way to go.

Miami looked to where the male was pointing. She smiled at him and nodded. "Okay, that's the way we will go then." The female began to walk in that direction.
"So, what do you like to do Pellumb?"

Pellumb nodded and followed after her as she walked. he looked down and fumbled with the ground some. 'I like... walking around... and talking... and a lot of other stuff too.'

"Those are all nice. I like them too. Add walking in the water and then that's even better." Miami smiled and nodded. She sniffed ahead of them wondering if she was still going the right way.

Pellumb smiled and nodded. "Walking in w-water is fun too, as long as it isn't muddy... I d-don't like my feet s-sinking." He sweatdropped lightly and wondered if his natural studder was getting on her nerves yet or not.

Miami smiled. "Yeah, mud is just icky. I like the water to be nice an clear. So clear that you can see into it." She kept walking to where she hoped they needed to go.

"Y-yeah. Clear w-water is nice." He agreed. He looked around as the trees started to get more packed on either side of the trail they had begun to take. It began to get darked as they walked further and further inside

Miami had noticed it had begun to get dark. "Wow, I think we are going deep now. Are the humans around here?" She asked Pellumb. She wasn't sure they were going the right way anymore.

Pellumb folded his ears down and looked around nervously. "I-I don't know, I-I don't... think so." He replied as it got dark enough to be night. He looked up, wondering if it actually was night already or if this place was always having night.

Miami looked up and around. "Well, I think maybe we better go back the way we came. If only we were real birds. Then we could fly up and see over the trees." She chuckled as turned around to try and head back. That was of course if she could figure out which way that was.

Pellumb looked around at the dark path, not knowing which way they had come from and which they were going. He didn't want to mention his slight fear of shadows, and so he kept it to himself. He mearly nodded to agree with her.
