Finally Denae was able to get through to her aunt and tell her about the up coming storm and tell her that she couldn't pick up her cousin, she was once again starting for the green room. At this rate, no one would show up for rehersal. Mrs. Zemal was answering her cell phone (it was a shock she even knew how to use it) to students saying they were staying in their dorms or going home or something otherwise. Denae sighed as she sat on the opposit couch from Lila and closed her eyes.

"So what are you waiting for?" she asked.

Burly, Blabberwort, and Bluebell were about in the enchanted forest seeing what mischief they could get up to. They had made camp for the night and were all sitting around the fire.

"I think we should make a little trouble for the gypsies tomorrow." said Burly excitedly.

"Well who says we always have to do what you say!" argued Blabberwort.

"Yeah!" agreed Bluebell.

"Because I'm the king now, and the king's orders are to be followed!" retorted Burly.

"Well who said one of us shouldn't be king?" said Bluebell.

"What if we were to fight you for it, or kill you for it, huh, what then?" asked Blabberwort menacingly.

"I'll fight either of you for it anytime, anywhere! How about now?" yelled Burly.

Burly knocked out Bluebell quickly with a punch to the jaw. He then turned to face his sister they both punched at the same time knocking each other out. They collapsed to the ground in a heap.

Lila was still sitting on the couch in the green room with Denae waiting for Leslie to come out when the loud static came the speakers. "Owww!" she exclaimed covering her ears, waiting for it to stop.

"Trying to figure that out!!" Aera shouted back, covering her ears as the noise grew stronger from inside the tech booth. She quickly looked over all the buttons and lights, turning off anything and everything that could have possibly caused it. But none of the tiny red bulbs would go out. The redhead ran over to the off switch for the speaker system and flicked it, the disruption finally dying down completely.

But as if not willing to compromise, the lights then begun to flash in nonsequential order. "What the hell?!" Aera looked out onto the stage with awe. She was never one to be superstitious but this was beyond explanation! The lights flicked on and off like crazy, until finally there were only two left on: a purple one on the backdrop, and a sole green beam on the mirror.

"What the ******** was that about?! Who's been tampering with my system?!!" Aera fumed as she climbed down from her domain and into the house.

Leslie covered his ears at the noise and finally walked out on stage to witness for himself what was going on. He watched the lights as they flashed on and off in an incomprehensible arrangement. 'What in the world?!' He wondered, and then looked where the one spot was pointed at. "Why this cue?" He couldn't help but ask aloud as he walked up to the looking glass curiously, cringing slightly at his cousin's outrage. He reached out to touch it, but then remembered he was not alone in the theatre. "Is everyone alright?" He called out, looking into the dark abyss, but seeing nothing.

((I like this Rose, gives us a reason to jump a head ^_^ Antole will be very happy.))

Every one was in a state of awe and shock at the strange event. Denae rememered this cue, it was the one where the wicked step mother (an actress who called out sick this morning and wouldn't come in, lucky her to miss this) drank the potion. It was during the transformation, they needed soft lighting where the actress, Cloe, could 'collapse' under the table and quickly pull on the old woman's costume.

"Every one remain calm," Mrs. Zamel called. "I'm going to check the electrical box in the basement. Just wait here and I'll be back." Denae watched as Mrs. Zamel left the theater and headed to the basement. Denae looked again at the cue. Why this cue?

"Yeah why this cue?" On a silly hunch Denae went to the side stage door, and opened it. Low and behold she was greeted with a wicked gust force of freezing wind, snow and hale. The snow was up to her knees and falling into the room, a transformer blew across the street and an electric poll fell across the road. With much effort, Denae pushed the door closed and ran back to the stage. "A transformer blew, and an electrical poll fell down just accross the road. Maybe this was caused by the electicity backing up? Or maybe something else?"

On her way back she noticed Leslie's costume, sure enough it wasn't as bad as hers, it was quite good actually, only unfortunatly for him it didn't look quite so good on him as her horrible costume looked on her. She guessed she just looked good in Goth, he just couldn't pull of the Disney look. "Sorry Leslie, keep your day job," she jested softly as she started to the back of the stage, only with the lack of light she tripped again and fell forward, Catching hold of one of the tables that was attached to the set.

The whole set shook, Denae looked up in shocked horror to see the mirror shake. If it fell, she'd be dead! But it didn't fall, thank god, just a piece of it fell off to the side, and suddenly it began to glow. Denae caught her footing and started walking to the mirror, heals in hand. She looked at it, there was a beautiful picture of a woody, summer forrest, how beautiful it looked.

"Hey guys! Come see this!"

((so i'm making it Aera, Leslie, Lila, and Denae that go to the other kingdom. If aaron gets a profile, he can just write that he entered the rehersal late, saw that no one was there, saw the mirror, and walked in. works right?))

Aera folded her arms across her chest, "That's what I'd like to know.." she growled, evidently pissed. She stormed up to the stage, wearing a dark cloak over her outfit to keep her warm. She watched Mrs. Zamel exit, then glared at the remaining actors, "Alright, so which one of you tried to pull a fast one on me?" She referred to the lights before listening to Denae's explanation. She clicked her tongue in irritation, "That doesn't explain why these lights are still working perfectly fine. Something's not right here.." She watched as Denae tripped and couldn't help but snicker, 'Stupid..'

Aera finally glanced at the mirror, her eyes going slightly wider than usual. It was beautiful, as was the scenery it displayed. She stepped toward it, wanting to examine the glass further, as if it called to her somehow. She stopped and snapped out of it though when Lila found a way to return the mirror to normal. She shook her head, responding to Lila, "I seriously doubt it.."

Leslie rolled his eyes at Denae, trying to keep the pink color from returning to his cheeks. "And you should stick to flats," He retaliated, jokingly. He walked closer to the mirror, inspecting it from behind Lila. "It's not your ordinary mirror apparently. Did you hook up any wires or anything to give it that effect, Lila?" He inquired, curious at how such illusions worked within a yard sale antique. "Well we were going to do something for the spirit within the mirror, right? The one that says who's the fairest in the land?" He didn't believe in magic: he believed in science and special effects.

Aera shook her head, "Yeah, but Lila handles scenery and I handle lights. Whoever is supposed to do the fog and special effects hasn't shown up yet as far as I know to do anything.." The redhead explained, getting annoyed again that it was HOW many days til opening night and they didn't have everything down yet. She twisted the part of the frame out of alignment again: the forest reappeared. "Strange.."

Aera blinked as the two girls tested the depths of the mirror, she backed up a little in awe. "Not coshure." She thought aloud, then watched as Lila ran off to get her backpack. "A portal? I don't believe it.." She prodded the glass herself and lost her footing, falling head first into it. "AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" The familiar setting of the theatre disappeared and she saw Leslie looking down at her, but she couldn't reach him. 'What the HELL IS GOING ON!!!' "This...is so... WIEEERRDDD!!!" She shouted as she disappeared into the blue void.

Leslie crossed his arms, getting nervous about Aera's proximity to the mirror. "Aera, don't touch it. We don't want to assume anything about it just yet.. AERA!" He reached out his hand to catch her, but it was too late: she had disappeared. 's**t, stupid stupid STUPID!' He paced back and forth quickly, glancing at the mirror and biting his lip. 'Alright, THINK Leslie, you've got to come up with a plan...' He sighed, "I've got no choice, I guess."

"Denae, Lila, you guys should just stay here. It could be dangerous." He said, his eyes conveying a look of seriousness at the girls.
