Hayden smiled with warmth radiating from his heart. He couldn't help but feel as light as a feather as Shen made it so clear that he wasn't going anywhere. He was even more lifted as he listened to how they belonged to each other now. Nothing Shen could have said would have made a bigger impact on Hayden, emotionally. "Good. I can't imagine not having you around now that I've given you that nicky name. It would be a shame to waste if you up and left." He smirked his pearly whites at the purple male and scooted over the green grass, closer to the other Herla until their body's were pressed together, side by side. "You know, I'm not THAT wonderful." He gave a soft chuckle and shrugged.

"A horrible shame to waste such a cute nick name, I completely agree hayden" he laughed as the buck went on, for someone who seemed so..what was it, wild? Hayden was rather mushy, it was absolutely adorable, besides shen didnt mind the lovey dovey sensation, it was a fun emotion, and fun just to hang out with hayden really. "Something tells me you've been left before huh" shen asked softly, his thoughts scrambled as hayden moved close, finding that he was blushing again....
"Your wonderful to me, chee and thats all that matters isnt it?" laying his head across haydens neck and sighing as he enjoyed the snuggly warmth. It was much nicer to get warm and dry this way.

Hayden gave the sweetest sigh before shutting his eyes and letting his muscles relax. Laying here like this with Shen was so casual yet so proper. Just the way they hand their bodies close together, as if they were pieces of a puzzle and fit perfectly to each other. "Hm, well... more times then I could count on my hooves, that's for sure." He gave a sad, half-hearted laugh before growing slightly more serious about the question Shen has asked him. "I never had anybody that close to me, so I can't really say that I've been left by somebody dear to me before. More like, when neighbors move. You know them, but you only give occasional waves or good mornings." He wasn't sure if his explanation was making any sense or not but Hayden was trying his best.
He felt the wait of the beautiful bucks head resting on his neck and Hayden couldn't help but give a comfortable shiver. "Wonderful, eh? Heh, Shen, you're really to kind. But, I guess it's all that matters. Nobody else's opinions matter to you? Like.... at all?" He was curious to hear what this Herla's outlook on other people was. Surely, he had to be afraid of judgment like everybody else. Perhaps he was different though. Perhaps he was a unique treasure.

"Thats too bad, no one should ever be abandoned" shen reasoned not liking haydens answer much, it was rather sad..."Ah..well I suppose I can understand that. Still, our kind were meant to live in packs. Being alone tsk its just not best for us" he sighed slightly, he supposed he could understand it, like neighbors moving away. It wasn't any more pleasing though.."Dont worry I get it" he reassured after a few moments, nuzzling haydens coat with his nose.
"No ones, and yes your wonderful. No though I don't like listening to other peoples opinions, not of myself at least. If they have their own opinions on other things that's fine but..ah I try not to let anyone get me down." he huffed softly nipping at haydens dark fur. "Just because I don't usually care though, doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt. You understand right? How you can shrug off what people say yet it still affects you quietly.."

Hayden's ears were tilted towards Shen intensely, picking up all he was saying and trying to understand as best he could. He wanted to know what Shen was all about. His strengths, his weaknesses. His likes and dislikes. "I know, I know. I never confront anybody about insults or whatever, but that doesn't mean I have nothing to say about it." He shook his head and glanced down at the grass they laid upon together. "Herla can be so cruel at times..." he recalled only a few incidents where he was really emotionally affected by something somebody had said.
The mood had changed from lovey-dovey to melancholy and serious. Hayden didn't like the transformation at all. "The grass is so pretty..." he noted out loud, because it just happened to be what he was looking at and his desire to continue with depressing conversation was non-existent. "I love the shade of green, and how plentiful it is. No dead spots for as far as the eye can see." He looked around and only saw healthy whole looking vegetation all around them.

Shen smiled softly at haydens sudden topic change, though he was more then glad for it, it had begun to get a little depressing. "The grass is what your looking at? Really..because I was looking at something else. Heh your fur is soft and warm and thick. Your eyes are a beautiful shade blue (Guessing! What color are his eyes?) mmn...and your scent" shen buried his nose in haydens fur for a moment just breathing it in as he relaxed. Having to pull away to sneeze "Hah! Well you smell like dampness right now really" he chuckled at least he was trying to be romantic.
"I agree though, this place is awesome, the plenty of it all, the grass and the trees. Mmn I grew up in a swamp nothing but water and muck and thick smells. I got sick of it I suppose and so I left." he nodded happily. "I needed to explore, meet some people, heh and here I am doing just that..."

"My fur?" He looked down and studied the shading and coloring of it before going to lean down and rub his nose in his own fur to check but somebody beat him to it. With Shen's warm muzzle nuzzling his coat he shut his eyes at the tingly sensation he happened to get in his hooves and the flutter of something light and dreamy in his stomach. "Heh, you have some kind of fascination with my eyes. They're not all that gorgeous. Especially when compared to your beautiful orbs, Stud." His eyes were so breathe-taking. So bright and clear. The most beautiful shade of golden-yellow he had ever seen. "They remind me of the sun. Bright and shiny."
With the flirting on maximum power Hayden guessed that Shen was trying to bring more then just constant blush into their relationship. The details of where he used to live before he came here struck Hayden as important so he noted that down in the back of his mind in the 'about Shen' section of his brain. "I've always been in this area. Never really did much traveling. God, now that I come to think of it I'm so boring. I wanna get out and see things. I wanna explore the unknown." He huffed at the realization that he wasn't living up to the nickname Shen bestowed upon him. "Maybe we could ... together." He smirked at Shen with a soft expression and a teaspoon of hope mixed in as well.

"And you said your not a tease? Your mushy gushy tease hayden" shen chuckled at the nickname, all those compliments, the jerk being so damn sweet as he was. "The sun huh? I like that comparison, guess that makes me a happy kind of herla doesn't it" ducking his face to hide it again, nipping at haydens neck and ears playfully. He was so embarrassed right now, sure that if he could have he would have been glowing with a blush on his face.
"Doesn't make you boring at all, boring people dont jump off rocks into freezing cold lakes" shen added hoping to make hayden see he was wrong with his assumption, blinking a few times and considering the possibility of having a travel companion..maybe..maybe it would be fun? "Mmn, maybe I've never considered traveling with anyone else. You though, heh I think it would be nice the two of us traveling together"

The dark grey buck gave an obvious blush at the kind Herla's words. Shen always knew just what to say to bring the largest, most embarrassing grin to Hayden's face. "Well, that's what I strive for. Seeing you happy makes me happy." He used a classic romantic cliche but it was the truth. Shen's smile was contagious. The nipping and gentle nudges with the purple Herla's nose caused Hayden to shiver and tingle. He fully enjoyed every little touch and piece of affection he could gather. Especially from Shen.
Hayden's ears perked up slightly and he came out of his trance like state after the nipping had stopped making him all relaxed. "Well, I guess not. I mean, jumping off rocks isn't all that frightening. Definitely not while I have you to jump off with me." Hayden watched as he seemed to contemplate on whether or not he wanted to travel. The thing was, Hayden was willing to do anything. Stay here and make friends, or venture out and see new things, possible make friends along the way too.
Then the answer came. He thought it would be fun? Fun!? Most definitely! They would be like a traveling circus, the two of them together. Everybody would want to meet them. "Oh, great! I w as hoping you would agree." He looked up at the clouds, trying to mask the happiness on his face. Tearing his attention from Shen he came to realize that he was dry now. No more freezing cold water on his fur. "Woah, that didn't take long at all. Or have we really been talking this whole time?" He laughed standing up a bit stiffly.

"Maybe for you but for some it's terrifying." shen chuckled stretching out lightly againts haydens body and the grass throwing his head back and yawning. "You my friend are such a flirt..your good at it though. Its nice to have someone to enjoy their happyness with" shen said with a smile and a slow nod, noticing haydens enthusiasm at being accepted.
"Of course I'd agree, chee I have no reason not to" glancing up at the sky with him, honestly not having noticed at all until hayden had spoken up about it. "Guess its true what they say..time flys when your having fun. Wow though heh guess I loose track of things talking to you" shen rolled onto his back and rolled in the grass a bit before moving to get to his hooves, stretching out each leg individually. "Mmn so my little devil what next on your day of adventure hmm, should we start our travels now or hunt down a place to nest for later in the night."

Hayden's eyes followed Shen's body closely. As he rolled around on his back, and then turned and stood up. Each leg was stretched and Hayden's blue orbs followed each limb. He smirked when he found himself having a sort of trance fixed stare on his face. "Heh, a good flirt?" he spoke to himself more then to anyone else. Was he suppose to take that as an insult or a compliment? He was pretty sure it was meant to be complimenting him so he just smiled at that idea.
Finally, once Shen was up and stretched, Hayden decided it would be a good idea to join him. He hoisted himself off the ground with a large yawn coming soon after he was stable on his hooves. "Hmm... well, considering I just had the biggest yawn in my life... perhaps we should find a place to crash." He shook out each hoof individually, since they were asleep from being laid on. Inside he was panicking. They were going to sleep next to each other? Excitement bubbled in his stomach and was clearly spread across his face.

"Yes my devil a good flirt, good as any I've ever seen or met! Heh you really know how to sweet talk to" shen purred teasingly, laughing slightly at the look on haydens face. Hayden seemed rather innocent, cute and innocent, it was rather refreshing, and though he may have laid it on a bit thick, shen couldnt help but love him for it.
"Defenitely, someones sleepy arent they?" he smirked giving hayden a gentle nudge. "I'm sure there are some trees here we could go lie under, I dont particularly favor trees..Maybe a low thicket?" he yawned softly, tail swishing as he moved along side hayden passing him slightly.

Well at least Hayden had flirting down science, or he'd like to think he did. "Thank you, Shen, baby." He felt a little bit more playful then sleepy but knowing that he woke up quiet early today it'd be best if he went to bed soon. "A thicket would be nice." He tilted his head at Shen and wondered why the buck didn't enjoy being surrounded by trees like Hayden did. Shrugging it off he figured that every Herla had his or her preference. Out of the corner of his eye, Hayden got a glimpse of Shen's swishy tail and he came to realize that it was very amusing. Getting the energy of a young fawn, Hayden wanted to n** and play with it but decided that would be a bit to childish for Shen's liking. His eyes stayed glued to it none the less.

"Welcome hayden sweets" shen huffed nodding, glad with haydens agreement. Really he rather disliked trees, they attracted bad things, they were too tall..smothering almost. Out of all the things the delta herla had seen the only one he'd realy come do dislike was trees..and he had been to see the large redwood forests that flourished in the farther regions, gigantic things.
Glancing back behind himself when he noticed haydens unusual quiet, grinning broadly at the herlas sudden focus on his tail. Just to test it out he swished it left and right, watching the other males eyes follow it, entranced. "You see something you like hayden?" shen teased smacking the other male in the face with his long whispy tail. "You perv" of course he was just being playful, he couldnt care less if hayden stared..or..teased..heh, really he'd never gotten this kind of focus before, most others didnt find him the epitome of sexy.

"Pshyeah!" He laughed and held his nose high. "Don't pretend you don't love that about me, Shen. I know you do." He battered his eyelashes like a whore-ish little doe and laughed at his humor. He wanted Shen to know that he was kidding around like he usually did. Hayden gave a quick n** at the purple bucks tail and began to prance away, the trees getting thicker and thicker as they continued on. "At this rate we'll be there in a bajillion years! Come on, Stud! Pick up the pace!" he giggled as he proceeded to go quicker with his little bouncy hops. Hop over this, swerve around that. He would be surprised if Shen could keep up. All these years roaming around in these forests made him really familiar with the surroundings. He absolutely loved it here.
