The dumb thing is that I learned how to play chess before I knew how to play checkers. (Yet, both require strategy, it's just assumed that chess uses more of it than checkers)

XD Everyone has an ability to be stupid. Lets check the Imptionary to see what stupid actually means, compared to what people think it means:
Imptionary:
Stupid (adj) - something that is in a stupor
Most people think it means "Idiot" or "Idiotic", but to prove that it doesn't, lets look at the Imptionary to look up "Stupor"
Imptionary:
Stupor (n) - a state of reduced sense; Dazzled; stunned; in a trance
Basically, if you're calling someone "Stupid" that means that they're in a trance, or that they're surprised, shocked, or whatever. A good example is when someone is sleeping.
But you can't really be stupid & play chess (Or any other game for that matter) at the same time, then you wouldn't be playing.
