I go to services at my Conservative shul pretty much every Shabbat and every single Yom Tov. I skip school for the last two days of Pesach and Sukkot, it's craziness. Yom Tov is mostly because my dad makes me, but since I'm on board for USY I'm required to be at three Shabbatot a month. I go Saturday mornings, mostly, even though I love Kabbalat Shabbat services. I don't have to worry about getting to shul though. We live within a block just so that my dad could not drive on Shabbas.

I go every shabat morn' and almost never other times. Since I'm not yet barmitzvah'd I don't need to stay in (but I should) so instead I run from Roland, the evil guy who's in charge of all of the kids (He's a bad man...) And I hangout and play football or dodgeball or otherthings outside in the aprking lot, it's really fun!

oh em jyu What are you, like five years older than me? xD; Pssht. Yeah. It feels like a long time when you throw HS in there. One of my bestest friends is six years older than me, and she teases me all the time. She doesn't threaten to purloin my panties though. Prolly 'cause I have really ridiculous panties.

Then we try to get members to come by luring them with shmoozes after services with real bagels. That was awesome... 3nodding As for the driving, my dad would go to an orthodox shul full time but there isn't one in our town except for the chabad. He goes to orthodox minyan weekdays though. We have plenty of people who live walking distance and walk to shul though- furthest walk is like two miles I think? Mine is like two minutes >_<

That was awesome... 3nodding My pre-con teacher does that to lure us to pre-confirmation class on Sundays... he's always got bagels and soda. xD; That's really neat that both of you(Kiashana and Alina) walk to your shuls, though. My shul's a good 20 minutes cartime away. D:

We've got quite a few Israeli members here, so I hope you feel right at home. :3 You're lucky you get to throw candies at bar and bat mitzvahs at your temple... they outlawed it at our shul because the rabbi kept getting hurt. crying
