Lumanny Dis Domnu I always just assumed Gaia only mentioned commercial holidays. Y 'know, x-mas, easter, and other s**t that makes them money. That's why they don't mention less known holidays or religions. Then again, I guess they might want to pander to us Jews. After all, we have all the gold. Huh. Those holidays are still Christian. I feel bad when I see Jews celebrating Christian holidays. Then I look in the mirror while I'm celebrating Christmas and decide to compromise for my dignity's sake. They also do stuff for Halloween, which is not a Christian holiday.

The stuff Gaia celebrates is more commercial and pagan (though most don't want to admit that bit) than anything else.
As for me, when I'm with Christian friends, I do celebrate Christmas with them. Not because I believe as they do, but because I love my friends as my extended family. And ultimately - most beliefs have something to celebrate that time of year. So even if I honor something else in my own mind and heart... why not enjoy the season with the people I care about? And - even within the same religion, you won't find people who think the same way exactly anyhow. So I don't think it matters too much.
I'm showing off my inner hippie here, but "all you need is love" xd heart
wow.. topics sure wanders in this thread. lol

You should see the other threads; segway to segway to segway. There actually hasn't been a segway here int hat it's the same topic it started with: NPCs and religion.
