~~The Start~~

Tamaki kept moving forward into the forest, they could no longer see the sun over their heads. Raion had fallen asleep so Tamaki placed him inside his pokeball for a bit of rest. He looked around as he moved forward, knowing he was going in the right direction, though as he continued to move he noticed the loud yell of what seemed to be a pokemon crying. Unable to ignore such a thing Tamaki ran towards the crying, looking to see what was wrong. He came into a cliff and a large ravine where he saw a Lavitar hanging. "Hey little buddy are you ok??" Tamaki yelled, running towards the crying lavitar. He came to the cliffs edge, looking down to see how long is was to the bottom of the ravine. Lavitar was crying rather loud and Tamaki couldn't let this happen. He grabbed the small lavitar up and it stopped crying rather quickly. "Hey little bud you ok." Lavitar simply snorted, still sniffling from being close to death. Tamaki sighed, holding the small being in it's arms. It looked up to Tamaki with a smile, feeling better that it was safe. "Well you seem better, what happened to you fella." Lavitar simply cooed, it must've still been a baby. Tamaki walked down the Ravine, he saw the town was near the bottom of it so heading down it's edges would be best. Lavitar looked up before snuggling into Tamaki. It seemed like Tamaki had found himself a new friend, hopefully he'd find more.

Once Joy had both Dave and Robert's pokemon, they both walked outside. "See you in a bit," Dave walked around the city for a bit, familiarizing himself with the area, and then noticed a large crowd of people in the western part of town. Dave walked over to see what was going on.

In the center of the crowd, Dave saw three clowns, each speaking to an individual speaker. Their conversations were rather quick, and when finished, the clowns handed the trainer what looked like a fancy watch. "What's going on here?" Dave asked a nearby trainer. The person turned and spoke, "You didn't here? The Poketch Company is having a promotional event, if you can answer one of their clowns' questions, they'll give you a FREE poketch!" Dave had heard of the Poketch Company before. They sold new watches which could download applications which help pokemon trainers. Wanting to get one for himself and Robert, Dave waited in line.

"What attack must a Piloswine learn in order to evolve into Mamoswine?" The clown asked Dave when it was his turn. "Ancient Power," Dave replied confidently. The clown smiled, handing Dave a brand new poketch, and a piece of paper, "Here's your Poketch, young man, and a coupon for an additional free Poketch. Give it to anyone you wish, or use it yourself."

Dave then made a quick stop at the Poke Mart to restock on pokeballs and potions, and then headed back to the pokecenter. After picking up his pokemon from Nurse Joy, she informed him that Robert had gone to the kitchens. Dave walked down the hall and into the kitchen to find Robert in there talking to another trainer. "Hi, my name's Dave, I'm Roberts friend. And you?" Dave extended his hand to the stranger with a smile.

Robert shrugged a bit. "I don't mind. The more the merrier. The only difference it'll make is how long we stay in Oreburg for. After all the gym leader isn't going to be takking our battle challenges one after another without needing to rest between battles, and I'm sure the leader has a life outside of the gym." Robert commented. He brought out his two pokemon, his Ralts and Shinx. Taking out a pellet from each of thier respective canisters, he held the pellets out to each of them. "Go ahead girls. Let me know how it came out." he spoke as he knelt down to thier level. Both pokemon took thier respective pellet and ate, both seeming to enjoy the food. He knew Lilly would love it since it was the same recepie he always made for her. As for shinx, he was pleased to see her response. Of course, he would need to find out what kinds of berries his Stella would like before he could get to work on making her some pokeblock.

~~The Start~~

Tamaki had finally came into his first destination, Sandgem town. Hoping to rest up he began to move forward and walk into town, he saw a couple of people simply say hi to him as he walked by. "Well this place seems rather nice, the people here are cool." Tamaki then remebered something, he was supposed to let Raion out when they arrived, grabbing a pokeball from his hip he opened it and in a flash Raion appeared. "Hey well you told me to let you come out when we arrived." Raion yawned, wiping it's eyes. It looked around to it's surroundings and smiled. Running over to Tamaki and up his pants let. "Pika Pika pikachu pi pika pika[This place is interesting, let's find some food. I'm starved]" Tamaki nodded, he had been with his pikachu so long that he could understand him, moving a bit more into the town he came to a large building. "Eh...Home to professor Rowan." After he read the sign he looked to Raion. "Seems like this is the prof.'s place." Tamaki opened the door, letting himself go in. Inside was a bunch of gadgets and doodads which looked interesting. He was just about to touch a machine when he heard a voice which caused him to jump. "Hey you, what do you think your doing.." Tamaki turned to see a man and three others with white lad coats on. Tamaki rubbed the back of his head and smiled. "Well...ya see I was just coming through and..." After about 25 minutes of explaining how he got here the prof nodded. "I see so your a pokemon trainer from the orange islands, lad that is a long ways from here. So, what have you come here for?" Tamaki nodded after every word then began to respond. "Well, I'm here for the Sinnoh league, going to be the best and that requires some training. I didn't know you were here or that this was your building." Prof. Rowan nodded, motioning Tamaki to follow him."Well since your here I might as well give you your starter Sinnoh pokemon." Tamaki looked a bit confused. "But I've already gotten my starter.." Rowan looked at him with a scary face. "Are you questioning me lad?!" Tamaki simply turned his head, Raion was sitting on Tamaki's shoulder bored as usual. Rowan motioned them into the other room where he went to a machine. "Here they are, the three starters in this region are piplup, chimcar, and turtwig. Piplup is a water type, chimcar is a fire type, turtwig a grass type." Tamaki looked to each pokeball and nodded. "Ok, I'd like Chimcar.." Rowan nodded handing him the pokeball and smiling. "There you are lad, now you must already have your pokedex. Go on ahead with your adventure." Tamaki nodded, walking out the building with his new Chimcar, he'd pick it's name when he was ready.

Robert shook his head to Dave and held up his pokenav. "It's basically the same as this, except you have to download all of your software seperately. I prefer to use this since it has all of the functions already on it. You should use it to get yourself a poketch." He then took out a pellet from murkrow's can and a pellet from totodile's can. "Here, have your pokemon try these. I'd like to see if they like it or not so I can make modifications to the recepies as needed." He spoke to Dave.

Tamaki smiled, opening the pokeball which contained chimchar. "Ok, let's see who we got here.." The ball opened and out popped a chimchar dancing about. It looked up to Tamaki before it ran off in the opposite direction. Tamaki looked a bit strange, did Chimchar just run away from him. "Hey, where you going?!" Tamaki yelled following after Chimchar as it ran down a main road in Sandgem , Chimchar was actually laughing, was this all a game to him. It turned into a alley way where it was trapped, Tamaki right behind it. "Ha, your trapped." Chimchar moved back against a wall, sneering at Tamaki. "Hey what are you laughing attttttttt-" Tamaki felt his feet go downward, in fact his entire body went downward into a large hole."Where did this come from?" Tamaki looked from left to right, then looked up. Chimchar was laughing and making a mocking face at Tamaki from above. It jumped over the hole before running down the alley and out of it. Tamaki sat there trying to figure out how this could've happened, he then remembered that Chimcar ran into the alley before he did. "He must've dug that hole when I came into the alley, but how'd he do it so fast." Not trying to wait and figure it out Tamaki attempted to climb out of the hole, but to no avail. "Seems I'm gonna need some help getting outta this hole. Ok then, Kin come out!" Tamaki opened a pokeball that was at his waist and out popped out a small Larvitar. "Kin, use earthquake." The small Larvitar nodded, before starting to shake the ground with it's small feet. The entire ground inside and around the hole collasped inward, allowing Tamaki to free himself. He grabbed Kin and left the hole. "Good job Kin, return." A red beam came out of the pokeball going straight for Kin, Kin laughed before being sucked into the ball. Tamaki turned before heading out of the alley and down Sandgem road. "Now where did he go..." He looked from left and right to find where the small flame monkey had went to. Chimchar stood on top of the building above Tamaki. Laughing to himself before throwing a small pebble at Tamaki. Tamaki turned, getting hit in the face with the rock. "Ow, hey what the heck!" Chimchar laughed before running farther down the roof. Tamaki was getting annoyed, running to a ladder on the side of the building and climbing up it. He got to the top and pulled himself up. "Get back here!!" He then ran after Chimchar who was on another building running. People watched from below as Tamaki chased after Chimchar, some laughing, others concerned he might fall. Coming to a building where there was no way for Chimchar could get away. It looked around trying to figure out where it could run too. "Ha, now where ya going to go?" Tamaki said after catching up with the small monkey. Chimchar turned looking at Tamaki, who had taken out his pokeball for the Chimchar, It sneered before revealing claws, Tamaki smirked. "So you wanna keep going, fine then let's battle right here!!" Going to his hip Tamaki grabbed a pokeball. "Go, Nazure!" A green light came from the pokeball as a Treecko appeared. "Ready Nazure" The pokemon nodded, looking at Chimchar. "Use bullet Seed!" Nazure began to spray a flow of seeds at Chimchar who in turn jumped into the air, it inhaled before spraying out a bit of fire. "Ember huh, Nazure dodge it then use screech!" Nazure moved to the left then began to make a loud sound wave noise. Chimchar fell to the top of the building holding it's head from the screech. "Now, use pound on Chimchar!" Nazure moved forward at quick and nimble speeds. Raising her tail about to smash Chimchar into the roof even further. It regained it's composure rather quickly, using scratch against Nazure's tail in order to stop her pound. It then used it's other hand to push off the rooftop and get over Nazure. Smashing her into the rooftop with another scratch to quick for Tamaki to give out orders. "Nazure, C'mon use screech!" Nazure was getting pounded by Chimchars scratch, she couldn't do anything. Tamaki looked in desperation, wondering what she could do. "Nazure please don't give up!" Nazure looked over to Tamaki, remebering all the good times they had together. It felt a power rising inside of it, looking u at Chimchar. It began to glow a white light which caused Chimchar to stop it's attack and move back away from Nazure. Tamaki watched in surprise, Nazure was evolving. Nazure came to it's feet, no longer a treecko, but a Grovyle!"Wow, Nazure..." Nazure looked at Tamaki smiling, before turning to Chimchar. The leafy ends of it's arms began to glow a bright green light, turning into twin blades. "What.....that's leaf blade!" Tamaki smiled. "Ok, use leaf blade Nazure!!" Nazure nodded, before running forward at new intense speed. Smashing into Chimchar making him fly off the building and hit a truck. Tamaki walked up beside Nazure smiling. "If you don't wanna come with me that's fine. But I can make you strong enough to fight Nazure....so.." Chimchar looked at Nazure with anger, she was a grass type and he was flame. He was supposed to win, Chimchar got up looking at Tamaki.""We got a deal." Tamaki said holding Chimchars pokeball, it nodded. Tamaki activated the red beam, it headed towards Chimchar and brought him back. Tamaki smiled, turning to get off the buidling. Nazure followed.

Robert gave a nod to him. "Thanks. I'd much rather the pokemon eat some professionally made food than the generic stuff they sell at the stores. It's better for the pokemon's overall health and happiness. Not that there's anything wrong with the generic stuff since it provides the basics, but you can always tell apart one that eats generic foods apart from one that eats food prepared by a breeder. Breeders simply have higher standards." he replied. Once his own pokemon were done eating, he would put away the cans of food into his backpack. "Now then, let's go to the main cafeteria and get some supper." He spoke before heading out of the trainer kitchen and over towards the cafeteria.
