Jack didn't find the embrace very awkward or clumsy at all. He sank into it comfortably, appreciating it as much as he was enjoying it. Raven's strong arms held him tightly and yet gently. And this hug, however simple it was, certainly was doing the job of comforting the little redhead. He sniffed a little against his chest, but he didn't feel so much like tears any more.
After a time, one that felt too short to Jack, Raven finally let go of him. Though he kept a light touch on his shoulders. Jack gazed up at him as Raven studied his feminine features so seriously. His quiet words almost felt like a relief to him and a little smile cracked his nervous exterior. "I wasn't like them, was I?" He replied hopefully.
And he knew Raven was right. Though Jack was skilled in the deadly arts, it was always a last resort for him. Sometimes it was an instinct to protect or defend that drove him to it, but others around him had seemed to live for that moment. Nor had he touched the deadly brews that were passed around. And when finally given a task to do, ownership of the Den, he had done it out of love for the work, not because he was told to.
He nodded, smile growing a little. Justice. He liked the sound of that. Justice for what these people had done to Guyy. Justice for what these people had done to countless others like Guyy and himself. And justice for what they had done to him, for every scar, for every fear, for the inability to sleep alone without waking in a cold sweat. He stood on his toes and planted a light kiss of gratitude on Raven's cheek before turning and looking at the door.
His hand moved up to one feature this room had the others did not. A deadbolt lock additional to the standard lock on the handle. He smiled to himself. "Guyy installed this for me, after the night he threw Jimmy out. He paid for it with his allowance, back when he got one, and put it in himself. His room's next door. Do you want to see it?" He turned to look up at the tall blond, the smile remaining on his face. There were a lot of bad memories here, but hidden among them were small memories of kindness and good times.
Guyy's keen eye caught the glow behind him and he withdrew the knife slowly. Klaus sighed in relief as the snake seemed to shrink from the apparent angel. He began sobbing to her for help, for mercy. Until her heavenly appearance changed to one of demonic terror. Now it was clear Guyy was not retreating from her, he was making room for her. The man's sobs changed to cried of fear.
She was in her demonic form. A form as graceful as her usual one, and yet it still sent a chill up his spine and frightened even him just a little. It always did when she changed from one to the other. Because, for a moment, it did feel like someone dying. nervously he extended his senses. Trapped within the cold body that as hard for him to sense at all, a fact that had made it easy for her to follow him once, was a small bubble of life. Their child. He let out a small breath, relaxing once again. No doubt the man had completely missed his momentary tension, his attention was captured by her entirely.
And that was no surprise. Especially as she approached and begun her deadly art, using the unfortunate man as her canvas. Guyy silently admired her. Even like this he found her attractive and part of him thought it might be entertaining just to let Klaus suffer for a while, giving Guyy a chance to properly worship this demon. The metallic scent of blood filled the air and he flickered his tongue over his lips. One lust drove the other.
Her little game at playing his minion amused him greatly and he smirked softly back at her. Lazily almost he leaned over the side of the bed and peered down at their poor captive, as if studying him and listening intently for his pleas for his life. "Aw. Lookss like you have upsset my concubine." Guyy pouted theatrically. He tutted and shook his head as if greatly disappointed in the man, playing up to the role of master. He sighed and parted his lips, scratching at one long fang with a fingernail as if ensuring it was clean and that Klaus was not really worth his time.
He stood up and wandered around the room, drawing out the torment with the frustration of uncertainty. He seemed as if he had forgotten about the game at hand. He peered in a couple of drawers before pulling out a bag from the closet and searching inside. Bingo. He pulled out two large brown bricks of solid heroin. "Oh, what have we here, hm? Ssstill in that old game, Klausss. Dear, dear, dear." He returned to the bed, tears running from the eyes of the captive. "Please, please let me go and you can have it! You can have it all, I have more!" Klaus pleaded. "I don't want it." Guyy yawned, dropping the bricks beside him on the bed. "It's the good stuff, I swear! You can have it all for free. Good pals you and me, right? Just like the old times." he sobbed.
Guyy's fingers drew along the exposed nerves of Klaus' bound arms slowly, making him cry out and writhe. Such simple touches easily brought such pain. The snake smirked to himself and with a slow deliberate motion, he licked his fingertips. Not only did he taste the man, he had coated the digits with a fine layer of his own venom. A quick brush of this over an open wound had the man straining in agony and screaming. It wasn't enough to kill him, but it started him begging for his life again. Guyy rolled his eyes. "I am tired of your whining. You and I were never palsss, you worthlesss excussse for a human. Ssshinigami!" He wheeled on his heel and gazed at his beloved, sparing her a grin.
"I dissslike this man'sss liesss and talesss. Remove hisss tongue." He gave her a dismissive wave as if it was an ordinary command. "And... mark him asss oursss." A little grin and a raised finger tapped at the antimony on his chest. As he stepped away from the bed he grabbed up the bricks. As he watched her work he unwrapped one and began to crumble it into neat, organised piles. He had every intention of giving this one a taste of his own medicine, so to speak. If he didn't drown on his own blood first.
Myurr hissed a laugh when she finally emerged. A dark stain was already spreading over the cotton. Most of it was blood. The rest? Well. He was very, very frightened. And somewhat without control now, thanks to the serpent.
Her next action did cause some very funny faces indeed. With such treatment the man would not last much longer at all. Pity. Mortals were so fragile. He released his hold on his neck, having grown tired of strangling him. His neck was bleeding and bruised now anyway, the man having done enough damage to stop himself taking full breaths.
Not that there was much left unexplored, not after Yaone's exploits. He admired her. She was alluring in her cruelty. After a moment watching the man cough and spit up blood with great entertainment the shadow decided to follow her. Into the dark depths of the poor man he slithered. There were plenty of places in here that would torture him wonderfully with a light touch.
He wrapped lightly around the man's heart, able to slide his shadowy form there easily. Just the lightest of squeezes had the man in a panic, shuddering in pain and terror. And he knew part of him was hoping Myurr would squeeze tight and end his misery quickly. But he would not. He just toyed with the muscle.

The taller blond, released his friend and watched, listening quietly. Nodding once at Jack's last question and smiling softly. Despite still having a grudge against the raven haired man, Raven would follow along with the redhead, knowing that somehow this was all very important if not to him then to Jack.
Simply by stretching her finger and curling them into fists did she crack her knuckles approaching the man's bedside once again to screams, she straddled the man, sitting on his stomach. And with a single claw began to trace the shape of their clan symbol on his chest.
"Stop moving.. you'll mess up my art..!" she complained, "My master will be displeased..." she pouted squeezed on his throat cutting off his air until he passed out, she'd bring him around with her tortures. But first with his jaw slackened she gripped his lower mandible and pulled upward, with her other, she sliced through the muscle as deeply as she could removing that which Guyy had requested of her. He coughed and sputtered and releasing him he wailed unable to speak. The lump of flesh? Was tossed in the waste paper basket unwanted.
Her claws started once more tracing the symbol into the mans chest and this time, despite the pain he only flinched, he feared what would happen to him should he pass out again, forced or not, what next might go missing. "Hmm hmm Hmm!" she hummed brightly in a sing song manner, rocking from side to side and even giggled. "Oh!.. he's being a good boy.." she remarked, "You'll have such a pretty scar!" she giggled as fine line by fine line the symbol slowly grew in thickness giving Guyy all the time in the world he needed for whatever it was he was doing.
At last she peered over her shoulder. "All done Master! Thank-you my lord for letting me play, 'tis such an honour." she smiled brightly. If a demon could ever be cute...
Yaone had been enjoying slithering among all his inner organs that sensation in itself would have the mans face all screwed up, her tail wrapped and squeezed on his bowels and bladder and was now slowly working through his wind pipe for an exiting hole up out his mouth, which had Myurr stayed outside most likely would have found amusing, except he'd followed her within instead and curled around his heart.
She hissed in laugh, amused as he toyed with the beating muscle, her tail squeezed down tighter on lower organs and slowly forced him to not only urinate but defecate as well. Had Yaone known Myurr could be so much fun.. she may not have ignored him for so long on the pretence that he was simply a young and innocent snake. The fact that he seemed to be having fun with such a cruel punishment of a being, allured her in an almost sick sort of way.
Her and her mistress were getting to play like they used to so long ago when bodies were countless and making them last was never an issue.. they'd just move on to the next one slowly perfecting their cruel play and making their toys last as long as they wished.

Jack smiled at Raven's nod. He hadn't been sure he would agree to it, knowing the tension between both men. But when he nodded Jack took his hand and pushed back through the door. Gently leading him along the hallway a short way to another door. This one hardly looked used. Jack tried the handle, but it was locked. He sighed and shooed Raven back a bit as he turned a handgun on the lock.
A quick bullet to the door just above the handle cracked the lock and a kick opened the door. He looked around the room in amazement. "It's not being used any more." He remarked. "This is exactly how Guyy left it." He stepped in and looked around, fingers trailing through the dust. Even the scorch marks remained, and the obvious repairs to the furniture. The closet door had fallen off. Jack reached in, causing some old items to tumble from the shelf. he ignored them for now, lifting down a shirt instead. It looked too tight even for Jack and the little redhead sighed softly.
Guyy hissed with approval as her fingers burned through his flesh, making it quite clear who Klaus now belonged to. He chuckled even when she complained about his squirming ruining her art. Guyy tutted at the man before he passed out. "Beautiful." He murmured into her ear while he was out. Though it wasn't really her artwork he was referring to.
The tongue made a sort of wet slapping sound as it hit the bottom of the trash can, making the snake laugh cruelly. He turned his attention to the drawers again as she brought him around, listening to the man's choking sounds as Kaori continued to work on him. He found what he was looking for, tying the bundles of heroin up in a series of condoms and laying them out. "Klaus here was a distributor and dealer for the Boos. Isn't that right Klaus?" He remarked, looking to the man. He choked and coughed. "Hm? What's that? Cat got your tongue? No matter." Guyy waved a hand dismissively and smiled as his beloved climbed down and smiled at him.
Adorable. He gave her a cheerful grin.
"Good work my dear. Very decorative." he nodded in praise and approval as he leaned over the massive scar, touching his fingers to it and making the man sob all the more as he may have dug his fingers in a little deeply. "As I was saying. You used to use street kids to deliver the good, didn't you? But they didn't carry your wares did they?" He held up one of the small balloons and smirked. "Open wide."
He'd force them down if he had to. And he had to. It was more fun that way. All the while he maintained an almost weary, bored expression, despite the fun he was having. "How many kids died, Klaus? How many did you kill? Still nothing to say? What a change of personality. I like you better this way." He smirked a little, stuffing the past package into his throat and forcing him to swallow. "I do hope none of these rupture. That would be tragic, wouldn't it?" He sighed, raising an eyebrow.
Guyy's punches could be surprisingly forceful. Especially to the stomach.
"Oops." he laughed.
Myurr could feel the tension from the man as Yaone tormented him. And humiliated him. Oh, such suffering. He wrapped the beating muscle in his coils, feeling the female slither past him, choking the man as she exited. He was surprised he was still alive.
Of course the fact he happened to be doing the work to keep that muscle pumping at the moment might have something to do with that. He had felt the falter of the heart as it began to fail. He wouldn't let him die yet. He could crush the heart, or he could just let go. Either would kill him. But where would be the fun in that?
-Sss.- He laughed through his teeth. -Ssso frail. Tassste his tearsss, sso deliciousss.- he hissed, squeezing and making the man cough and groan.

His teal eyes calmly watched Jack as he moved to the next room and opened the door, he followed him in and took a look at the room Guyy had occupied, for however long it was it looked now like he hadn't been here for some time. The blond wondered what it was about this room that prevented 'the boss' from overhauling it and occupying it with someone else idly for a moment before his attention was caught by a series of things tumbling from the closet and a sigh.
He turned his head from looking out the window, "What is it?" he questioned, curious as to what it was that was so important about such a small shirt. The way Jack was looking at it, there were memories attached to it as well. He wondered if going through their things here was such a good idea after all, for the toll it was taking on Jack.
Kaori knew what Guyy was referring to despite that she was so concentrated on her work, a smirk tugged at her lips. And while Guyy joked with the man she got up and let him have his way starting to poke into things a bit where that man could see her, snooping.
Perhaps there was something else in here he didn't want anyone to find unless he was already dead. So she wasn't really paying attention to what Guyy was doing but she could sense it. She hummed a little tune softly as clothes were regarded and tossed aside carelessly. The top shelf was peeked into and the back wall was knocked on for any hollow or thick sounds that may have told of a hidden space. Although she doubted such a lowly human would have anything valuable at all.
Slipping out of the man's mouth, she no doubt left a terrible taste behind, but once the entire snake was curled in front of his face, her head tilted just so, in a curious fashion as he stared almost blankly at her. She blinked intelligently and eased forward, in time his head was surrounded by the bulge of her body and indeed she did lick at his tears from over top of him at the same time slowly crushing his head.
-It'sss time to die..- she hissed.

Jack seemed lost in memories for a moment as Raven took a glance around at the disarray. Chances were the Boss always entertained plans on getting the snake back somehow. Either that or no one else would take the room. Strange things happened here, and goons tended to be superstitious. Who would want to be in the Snakeman's room if he ever came back, after all?
"Hn?" Jack looked up, thumbs smoothing out the material of the shirt. It was one of Guyy's best. He only wore it on special occasions. Like Jack's 18th birthday. "Nothing important really. I was just thinking about old times. My birthday party." His lips twitched up in a smile, remembering Guyy smiling serenely into the sun despite being so close to death.
"Can you believe this used to be loose on him? Ha. Hard to imagine when you see him these.. oh?" He was distracted from thoughts of Guyy's recovery as his foot knocked over one of the items that had slid out of the closet. He blinked at it and smiled widely, forgetting the shirt for now. He bent down to pick up the old, slightly tattered umbrella with a wide smile. "It's his random act of kindness. I thought he took it with him. Hm! Amazing the old things you dig up." Jack chuckled. Not all of the memories were bad ones. He remembered Guyy telling him how he'd gotten this when they were just boys. He set it on the bed carefully while he glanced to see what else might be in the pile, wondering if he might like it back.
Guyy sat back on his haunches on the edge of the bed, leaning over the man like a bored gargoyle. He rested his elbow on his knee and his chin on his palm as he waited and watched with idle curiosity to see what would happen. Klaus was still coughing and groaning from the punch, unable to double up. He'd been winded painfully, and worse. He made strangled, sobbing sounds as he tried to beg for mercy. Guyy tutted and shook his head, scarlet eyes turning to watch the demon version of his beloved go through the dealer's things.
He had a few things. Normal stuff, like a couple of rolls of cash probably skimmed off the top of what he was supposed to pay the Boss, a little stashed jewellery. Some random drug paraphernalia. Guyy yawned theatrically. Such a boring life, no loss to the world. Klaus coughed and shuddered and the snake raised a lazy brow to him. Ah. The drugs were free, apparently, and invading his body. The man was sweating in pain and terror. Guyy raised his head off his chin and sighed as he watched him.
"It's not nice, is it? Overdosing. Very painful. Very frightening. I don't even know if you can see me any more." He waved a hand slowly in front of Klaus' eyes slowly. He blinked. "Oh, you can. Maybe not for long though. Eventually there'll be nothing but the fear and the pain and the knowledge you're going to die. Slowly. And you won't even pass out first. You'll feel your own heart going crazy and then stopping, your lungs collapsing. Agony, pure agony." Guyy smirked, stepping off the bed and bending over his face to give him a particularly sinister grin.
"Eye for an eye, Klaus. Remember telling me that when you caught my hand in your pocket." He held up the second brick of heroin in front of his face, tapping him on the nose with it. "Tooth for a tooth." he smirked, making sure he saw him drop it in his pocket. May as well let him think he was being robbed as well as murdered.
He always did hate losing profits.
"Anything of interest, Shinigami?" he said over his shoulder with boredom. Who knew what would turn up?
Myurr's coils moved rhythmically, keeping the heart pumping blood for far longer than was natural. Poor bugger. Oh well! It was fun! And he loved seeing the female in action. He'd had no idea she was so... creative. It really stirred his interest.
He felt her shift from the man's body. He left his tail end wrapped around the weak muscle and poked his head out of the entrance she'd made into him, watching her observing the man. He thrilled when she hissed the final death knell and wrapped around his head. He gave the heart a squeeze to pain him as she wrapped around his skull.
This was going to make a wonderful sound, he just knew it. He hissed encouragement to her enthusiastically.

Raven wandered over to sit on the bed and half curiously picked up the umbrella as Jack laid it aside. Somehow, the fact that he was here looking through Guyy's things felt dirty, like he was prying without meaning to. He was just here for Jack but..
wait.. what was this, this marking in the bottom of the handle... his thumb brushed over it, initials. The thing looked well used but those etched initials could never be erased with such little time. Relatively. He stared at that for a long while getting lost in his thoughts. He stood up just then with it in his hand and wandered out, silently.
Kaori stashed the cash and jewels on her the rest she wasn't all that interested in. Yep, she was pilfering his hard earned cash. The gurgling, coughing moans behind her didn't bother her in the least as she continued on and then tired of the closet went to the drawers and ransacked them, then the desk. Keeping an ear on her beloved.. and paused in what she was doing as she listened to him describe how that overdose felt.
He questioned her and she turned a blank expression on him, "Not really Milord. Just a roll of funny coloured paper and trinkets."
The body squirmed in ways one knew that it felt intense pressure, twitched and flailed helplessly for a long moment as she just waited and drew out the pain and then came the sickening crunch of the skull collapsing and the neck being severed at the base of it through and through, killing the man at long last. The body glowed in aura, the spirit sphere rose and was eaten.
She slithered free and once clear of the oozing blood puddle under the man, glowed with a shimmering light as she exited the room, becoming perfectly clean, burning away the stench of blood and end trails. Looking up to see Raven approaching down the hall. Her head turned and watched as he knocked twice on the next door frame out of sight of those inside. Amber hues blinked at him and the thing in his hand and then rose to his face as he looked down on her, thus making sure that his backside, if any slight part of him, was viewed by Kaori or Guyy... or their toy.

Jack hummed to himself as he rifled through the drawers and cupboards with great interest, laughing at small items and memories that were dredged up. He had no problem with raiding Guyy's stuff, unlike Raven who patiently took a seat on the bed. Jack barely noticed when he lifted the umbrella to look at it.
Jack, meanwhile had dug out some winterwear. A hat, scarf and glove set made of chunky, warm looking black wool. He laughed and snuggled it against his face fondly. The little redhead turned on his heel to smile at his friend. "Hey look! I gave Guyy... Raven?" Jack looked around.
He was gone. Jack was alone in the middle of the chaos. He clung to the set tightly, suddenly feeling a little lost and nervous. Had someone taken him? No, surely he was in the bathroom. Jack padded over and peered inside. "Raven? Are you here?" He called quietly. The sound echoed in the empty bathroom. No life here at all. Nor was there anything moving in the hallway.
He stood there looking around, clenching the wool in his fingers. He was frightened suddenly. What could have happened to him? The poor little redhead could just have gone downstairs.
Guyy chuckled as Kaori replied to him a dumbly as she could. He waved a hand dismissively at her as if to say such things simply were not worth his time and she may play with them and take them. "Feel free to adorn yourself." He sighed lazily. "Doesn't look like Klaus will need them much longer."
The man's whole body shuddered and jerked for a moment. Guyy just watched, ignoring the foam of frightened saliva trickling from the corner of their captive's lip. Yes, he was suffering intensely.
Myurr meanwhile shuddered with delight as he saw and heard the skull pop and crack satisfyingly. For a moment their plaything would have known nothing except terror and pain, and then nothingness. It was all over.
How disappointing in a way.
He stopped his massage of the now still heart as Yaone cleaned herself off. A tug with his tail tore the muscle away from the ribcage and he pulled it with him as he exited the man. He tore a strip from it while it was still warm, lifting his head to offer her the tasty and rare treat. But her attention was elsewhere.
He glanced behind him as she made her way to the hallway. Myurr swallowed down the strip and tore off another, following her to see what was going on. There was Raven. But where was Jack? He looked to the female quizzically.
A knock on the door distracted the snakeman from the show. He frowned and extended his senses. Raven? Had something happened to Jack? He glanced to Kaori and then to Klaus. "Do excuse me." He hissed to the suffering creature softly as he moved to open the door. No doubt Kaori had sensed who it was as well and was close behind. He raised an eyebrow at the blond DJ. "What's up?"

Raven nodded his head towards the stair well, Yaone seemed to understand and slithered off up the stairs, disappearing from sight, Jack would soon be faced with the snake and would at least still have some company. A hissed voice requested being excused from the room behind him and Raven turned his head over his shoulder and then turned to face the man eyeing him squarely.
He said nothing but let his eyes fall to his lifted hand in which that umbrella was carefully held. He knew Guyy would know which room the pair of them were in at seeing it. His turquoise eyes lifted again to view the snakeman's face. Would he get it? Would his memory be jogged enough? He watched for the realization and only that. He would simply hand him the keep sake and walk away from the door to go back upstairs to Jack.
Nothing more. Not a word.
Yaone slipped down the hall searching for Jack and hissed loudly, just the sound was probably familiar enough to have him curious to look for her or maybe even Myurr. Simply there to comfort for a few moments, that was all.
Kaori tilted her head at the man foaming at the mouth and for some reason didn't have to know if it had been Guyy that had been left in a similar state years ago. The demoness grimaced as she noted his organs failing. "Hn..."
She knew Raven was outside but didn't bother him, she could tell by sensing his aura this was not an exchange she was to witness directly and so she stood at the window waiting patiently and peeking out, invisible she was to the rest of the world beyond the window.

Jack paced a little, becoming more agitated and unsure of himself the longer he was left alone. He found himself surrounded by memories that were not so easy to take without the comforting presence of the large blond watching over him. He stared at the scorch marks on the walls and ceiling of Guyy's room. He glanced over to the bed. There was still a series of small stains in the faded carpet. Despite Jack's attempts at scrubbing all those years ago they wouldn't come out.
He could remember the weight of his only friend in his arms, the coldness of his reptilian body, the blankness in his eyes. And he could still see the discarded syringes, the oozing blood and the paleness of his skin.
Jack sobbed, backing out of the room. Too much. He glanced to his room. he could hide in there. But then he remembered Guyy's angry face twisted into a snarl as he physically threw Jimmy out the door. No, it wasn't safe there either.
Where was Raven? Was he safe?
He let out a soft cry at the loud hiss, not having expected it. Was it Myurr, or Yaone? Might it even be Guyy himself? He didn't care. Snakes meant safety to the little redhead. He found her as she slipped into the hallway, dropping to his knees and holding out his hands to her, still clutching the black wool. "Yaone... what's happened?" he sobbed, terrified the man he felt so much emotion for had been hurt. Even Astrossa cooing softly in the back of his mind couldn't stop him from feeling that old familiar terror.
For a while, Jack was 15 again.
Myurr watched with curiosity the silent exchange between the blond and the female, swallowing down his next strip of heart. He'd save her some. He sank into the floor flatly and slithered as a shadow around Raven's feet, leaving the blood and mess of their games as a snake-shaped stain on the floor behind him. It wasn't as pretty as the way Yaone had cleaned off, but it worked fine. As she headed upstairs, he lurked around the DJ's feet to eavesdrop. But the man never said a single word. How odd.
Guyy regarded Raven in silence through the doorway. He didn't look concerned, so he guessed nothing was wrong with Jack. Though I quick extension of his senses did tell him Jack was agitated about something. Turquoise hues fell on the item held up in Raven's hand and his own ruby glance followed.
He was holding an umbrella. Guyy stared at it. He was holding his umbrella, the one that had most likely helped to save his life on more than one occasion. They'd been searching his room. He didn't mind Jack in there, but why on earth would Raven have the sheer cheek to not only take such a sentimental item, but bring it down here to show it to him? That irked Guyy for a moment.
Until he looked up at Raven's face as the umbrella was handed to him. He looked down at it in shock, glancing up to see him walking away without a word.
Again.
Guyy was stunned. All this time... He glanced back to Kaori briefly before running into the hall to do something he should have done years ago. He just caught sight of Raven's back as he passed through to the stairwell. "Hey! Hey wait!" he called out, not caring if those in the room heard him. He closed his eyes for a moment as he remembered clearly.
"...Thank you..."

Yaone slipped up and around Jack's shoulder's nuzzling under his chin playfully and affectionately. -Cheer up, all isss ok. You'll sssee.-
The blond paused as Guyy called on him to wait, barely turning his head to glance over his shoulder, although Guyy wouldn't see it.. he smiled softly and kept on up the stairs taking them easily two at a time. Returning to the hall he found Jack and Yaone together.
The look on the red head's face...
"..Jack.." he whispered and rushed at a hurried walk, there wasn't that far to go really, at seeing how distressed he was and knelt in front of him concern etched on the blond's features. "Are you alright? What's happened?"
Meanwhile the demoness continued her stake out by the window, turning to observe her love as he disappeared from the doorway, she closed her eyes and beyond the wall she sensed the pair, seeing them in their aura light and the exchange. Grown men were boys once again. Not a word from Raven, that she expected. The thank-you from him was filled with appreciation, gratitude a little awe and a bit of shock.. she reopened her eyes bringing reality into clear view.
His victim was at death's mercy, her's. Moving from the window she went forward and placing a hand over his head, drew his soul from his body allowing the shell to collapse limply, the spirit sphere was gathered into her hands glowing a fiery red. He still had judgements to pay for. Moving back to the window she lifted it open, and into the abyss portal that she opened, threw in the ball carelessly to send it on it's way to hell. With a snap of her fingers the portal was closed and she once more looked to the doorway for her love to return.

Jack hugged to the snake as she wrapped around him, comforted to have another body there even if it was a snake. He sniffled a little and hung his head as she reassured him. But he was still too worried to relax or calm down. The manager shook with fear.
Nothing more needed said between the two men. He'd said what he finally needed to after so long, and Raven had heard it. The DJ slipped up the stairs without a word. He lowered his head to look at the umbrella and smiled to himself, turning to step back into the room behind him. Myurr took the chance to hitch a ride back on his master.
He heard his voice and then Raven dropped to his knees in front of him. He looked up, wide, watery eyes looking him over for any sign on injury. He was fine, thankfully. Jack was relieved. And upset. He started hitting Raven with the gloves tightly gripped in his hands. They were soft wool, so they wouldn't even slightly bruise him, but it made Jack feel better.
"Where the hell did you go?!" He snapped at Raven, battering him with the soft gloves. "I didn't know.... you could have..." he was clearly not happy at all, not just because he'd been left alone but because for a while there he really thought something terrible had happened to the blond.
Guyy stepped back into the room to find Kaori near the window waiting for him. He didn't need to look at Klaus to know he'd expired, he could sense it. Oh well. The place was clear now. And he'd gotten distracted. Ignoring the body he crossed over to her, still looking down at his umbrella in surprise. "It's funny, really. Some things you just don't expect." He sighed, looking up at her and moving to tuck it into his pocket. There was something already there. He frowned and took out the second brick of heroin. When had he taken that? He stared at it numbly.
And then at his fingers. He'd been crumbling the first block up and it had left a dusty brown residue on his hands. His fingers were stained with blood, venom and drugs.
He could just have a little lick. It would do no harm.... right? With a little hesitation he lifted his hand.
In shock he threw the second brick aside, letting it bounce off the wall and smack Klaus in the head. He held his hand out in front of him as if he'd stuck it in something really nasty and shuddered. "Need to... ugh.." he frowned, looking away from it. How could he almost let himself be tempted like that? He'd have to go wash off.

Raven took in a deep breath and let it go as Jack snapped at him. The fact that he was hit with woollen gloves didn't faze him at all. What Jack needed was someone to ground him, his emotions were going haywire being here.
"...." he didn't have to say anything to call his friend's attention, he already had it and he was staring dumbly at Jack for a very long, very silent moment. And then simply asked,
"...you done?"
Raven hadn't bothered to answer Jack's question at all, he hadn't tried to comfort the man like Yaone was doing. Wasn't giving to the fact that Jack was lost somewhere between past and present and getting the two mixed up. Jack knew everyone in the building was dead and so far, none was any the wiser that they were there.
But to stir worry in the blond? To have him rush over like he had, to make sure Jack was ok was yet another clear sign of how fond the dj was of his manager. Jack might have realized it, the blond was slowly being wrapped around his little finger, if not already entirely taken by the man.
Yaone watched the pair with a suspicious eye, this was unusual for Raven, she hadn't known him to actually show he cared at all. Except in much quieter, discrete ways. She moved forward and seemed to hang in the air as she met Raven's shoulder, linking the two together for a moment. -Sssstill have a missssion...- she hissed reminding them what they were here for.
Kaori observed Guyy carefully as he returned tried to put the umbrella in his pocket and found the brick there. She watched his struggle with the drugs, how he tossed it and then regarded what was on his fingers.
"Wait." she returned to her normal half-bred self in that instant and watched him with rounded sapphires in the dim light. Despite the way he covered his tracks, despite how repulsed he looked...
"Come here." she asked of him softly holding a hand out to him as she stayed rooted by the window.

Jack just needed to work out his frustration. So while the blond calmly sat there and took his abuse he battered him with the gloves until eventually he tired himself out. His emotions really were all over the place at the moment. after a while he lowered his hands and sobbed softly, though this time it was more out of relief than anger. He wiped at his eyes and nodded in response to Raven's question.
He hugged the coils of the snake and lifted his head to look up into those turquoise eyes that so gently reassured him without a single word. He sniffled quietly, slowly calming down now that there was someone with him. Now that Raven was with him again. "I thought for a moment... I was worried that..." he tried to explain, not really able to finish his thoughts. He didn't want to think about what might have happened, though he knew the building was safe for the time being.
Yaone's muscles moved as she reached out towards the DJ, wrapping around both of them. He ran his fingers along her scales, giving silent thanks to her for coming to him when he needed comforting. He wasn't aware who had sent her. The snake gave them a gentle reminder. "Yeah... yeah I guess." He sighed to her. He reached up and wrapped the scarf around Raven's neck loosely, giving him a weak smile. "Just tell me if you have somewhere to go next time. Don't sneak off like that. Not here. Not tonight. You can sneak off all you like when we get home."
Guyy was repulsed. But he was repulsed by himself and his almost disastrous actions. The emotions of the evening weren't just getting to Jack. He'd almost let himself fall. And he might have, if she hadn't been there. He couldn't bear to show that side of himself to her, even unintentionally.
When he looked up at Kaori again she was back in her normal form. He gave her a small and affectionate smile. No matter what form she took, she was a beauty beyond compare as far as he was concerned. She beckoned him over and, still holding his hand out in front of him as if it might explode at any moment, he approached her.
"I don't want..." He hissed, looking away from her shamefully. He hadn't thought about the possibility he might have run into this situation before they came here. He should have planned ahead. And now he was forced to face it. "Make it go away. Please?" He pleaded with her in a whisper, not able to meet her eyes.

Jack made it sound like Raven deliberately slipped past him, put extra effort into hiding that he was wandering away. The blond knew better and didn't take offence to Jack's scolding as a scarf was hung around his neck, he knew what the reaction really meant. Even if Jack didn't say outright. He rose then, offering his hand to his boss to help him up, "... common. Let's go."
It wasn't that Raven didn't care about Jack's reaction, or how Jack felt, far from it. And it wasn't that Raven hadn't heard any of his requests to not go wandering off or that he didn't want to respond about sneaking off when they got home. It was just pointless to bother responding at all, they would only work themselves into an emotional fit and wouldn't be able to continue the job they were here to complete.
That and Raven thought Jack was just being utterly adorable. Not that he'd let on such a thing. Now he knew how Kaori felt all those years ago when it was she that was comforting him. What Jack needed, just like what he needed back then, was someone that could calm the storm.
Yaone took the opportunity to quickly slide away, just before Raven stood, to curl in a heap on the floor, Jack's touch had been fond and gentle, a silent thank-you. She nodded once at the man and turned heading back downstairs to return to her mistress.
The tigress was happier that he came to her, despite that he was caught up. But such a thing should ever have bothered him like it was.
"I know.." she responded to his hiss watching as he looked away from her, her fingers met his hand that he held away from himself in repulsion, she drew it and him closer to her. "My love.." she brought his fingers to her lips and kissed them, her lips glittering with a thousand tiny lights. Anything harmful to a physical body was always destroyed on contact with her when it came to substances like these and poisons. "What you are asking of me, is not possible to do in only one day. The 'it' you are speaking of lies here..." she brushed at the hair on his temple, "and here..." she let her fingers drift over his heart. The temptation would probably always be there unless he truly didn't care for it and that day would eventually come.
If it was nothing but a simple powder to him, it wouldn't affect him so. If he didn't know anything of it's affects at all he would be spared the weakness.
But that was not the case.
He knew and he'd lived through a terrifying time in his life and that was also a part of him. To erase it would change him. The best way was to heal the wounds as he would allow her.
Again she kissed his fingers having them glitter just like before, again she kissed his palm and the back of his hand until there was nothing left of the blood, poison or the fine brown substance at all. Each kiss had been slow, hesitating upon his skin, treasuring him. "Stay with me, don't leave. I won't let harm befall you." she vowed.
"Tell me.. everything. Spare no detail." they had all night and it was still young yet for their mission. They had time, lots of it. "Make me understand, it is time to stop hiding. Trust me."

Jack knew Raven hadn't snuck off deliberately. He'd probably just been too caught up to notice. That didn't change the fact it scared him. He knew how things worked around here. If ever the Boss wanted someone removed silently, it was done. Though he knew that was a foolish worry, no one knew they were here yet and everyone in the building was dead.
The fact that Raven sat patiently and didn't respond to the light scolding he was given was probably better for them both than if he'd protested or apologised. They both knew Jack just needed to vent a bit and the little redhead was grateful that the DJ didn't seem offended or upset by it at all. And Raven knew exactly how to handle Jack, especially after all these years.
Raven stood and offered his hand. Jack looked up at him and smiled, finally dropping the gloves as he reached up and wrapped his slender hand in the DJ's, marvelling just for a moment at the size difference. Raven's hands seemed so big and strong compared to his own. With his polite assistance he stood in front of him, smiling up at him softly.
She took his hand gently and he was grateful. The sooner the vile substance was away from him the better. He couldn't trust himself here, with it. If she wasn't here... he shivered a little. All that time he'd spent trying to clear himself would have been lost. He'd found better happiness in his clan, his books, his beloved and now the very seed of a family on the way. But still that addiction leered over him as if waiting for him to slip just a little.
He looked back to her, with head still lowered shamefully as she kissed the chemicals away from his fingertips, removing at least one cause of his temptation. He watched the light sparkle between lip and finger. She could even make that look beautiful. And she was right, as he brushed at his hair and lowered her hand to his chest. The drugs were not the problem. He was. And it would take more than cleaning him up now to change that.
Her kisses trailed along his hand, making sure every trace of his recent act was destroyed. He lifted his head as she spoke softly and gazed down at her with slight awe and deep affection. "I love you. I could never leave you. Not even for an instant." He sighed softly, lifting his other hand to brush through her hair and across her cheek gently. He gazed down at her with concern and perhaps even nervousness in his ruby eyes as she asked him to tell her what had happened to him.
How could he? He had to spare her from that pain. And yet, of course he trusted her. He'd always trusted her. He trusted her enough to save his life, and she had more than once. He hesitated as he stared down at her before finally reaching out to her and drawing her against his chest. He pressed a kiss to her hairline and took a shuddering breath. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm weak, I know... I should be stronger." He squeezed his arms around her gently and closed his eyes.
"It goes back years. Too long. Far too long. It didn't take them long to work out how valuable I was as a drug test subject. It was inevitable I suppose. And then the Boss saw what they did to me... he knew. He knew it could control me. I was getting older, more trouble. Jack was easy to keep in line and he was discounted as a failure by then. But I was... difficult." He snorted out a small laugh and opened his eyes to look down at her. "Are you sure you want to know all of this. It's not easy to hear." he asked her with soft concern. He loved her so much. "The time you found me, hung from that pole. That wasn't the first time I..." he trailed off softly. They both knew that he was referring to his own death, back at the labs.
