antifreeze1994 buenos noches. ¡Tengo una pregunta! ¿comó se dice "guinea pig" en español? porque, tengo dos "guinea pigs" y pregunté mi profesora español pero, ella dijo el "es diferente en diverso países"
lo busque y me dijo "cobayos" pero nose todo depende en el país como dijieron.

¬¬ ...vaya...es lo mismo ¬¬ con q no vengas aki a Guatemala y t vayas a Peten q t aparecen unas super ratas del tamaó de 2 gatos xD.....aki esas ratonas se llaman "TEPEZCUINCLE" xD......y saben a pollo cuando se hacen al carbon =3 ....siiiii...si se comen xD

Which came first spanish or english?
I have always wondered that!
Because spanish and english have lotsa cognates. (words that sound similar and mean the same thing in different languages. i.e. conpyuutaa(japanese)=computer(english))

(words that sound similar and mean the same thing in different languages. i.e. conpyuutaa(japanese)=computer(english)) im pretty sure spanish came first, and heres why: Spanish is a "romance language". There are 3 of these "romance languages: Spanish, French, and Italian. They are all derived from Latin, mainly. Many words in english come almost directly from French, and other languages that come from Latin (German, Dutch). So if the romance languages inspired english, they would have had to come first right? I don't know this for sure, this is just my logic.

My turn! In the new spanglish guild banner (very pretty, i must say) it says "ever like you" and translates into "siempre como vas". what is the reasoning behind using vas instead of tu?
