"I know how to make things out of the snow. Doesn't mean I'm good at actually making it." He smirked, moving his hands to show a lumpy sandman. "knowing and doing are two different things." This much he figured out a long time ago.
"What's your ability?" The snow pae smiled, looking at Texas. He was sure it had to be something interesting.

"In your defense, though," the demonic offered, "there is a lot of sand mixed in with the little snow remaining here. I think the majority of snow on this beach has all but completely melted away at this point." He offered a smile before looking back out at the seemingly endless lake.
At the question, Texas took out the fancy note that he always kept close and reread it before tucking it back away. "Well, I haven't practiced it much yet. Supposedly, though, when someone is upset or angered, if I focus on them, they'll calm down briefly... or something of the sort." The demonic chuckled. "I suppose it's fitting. Summer tends to be a calming season."

"Nah, even if it was pure snow it'd still be lumpy." He chuckled, forming the sandman more. "It's easier to sculpt in the snow, but you can make a lot more mess ups with the snow." Yukio reflected, having mostly rounded him out now.
"That sounds like a good power." He smiled, "It fits you well even if you didn't like the summer." This he didn't feel was a lie. He though that Texas looked like he fitted the power he's got.

Texas chuckled when Yukio commented that it did seem to fit him well--even without the summery aspect. Texas had figured the Guardians had given him the power so he could be as calming as a summer breeze, but perhaps it was just his personality. "Thanks, Yukio." He turned towards the snowy Pae'il and observed the snowman on his chest closely. After a few moments of that, he looked back to Yukio's face.
"I'd say your power fits you too, just by looking at the design you have." Texas pointed out the snowman, with a chuckle. "The snowman itself is something built carefully out of snow."

He looked up, blushing some. "You were staring at my chest weren't you?" The thought alone was enough to make him blush, but knowing that Texas had actually looked at his chest was more blush worthy.
"I think yours fits better." He smiled. "Mine only fits me because I look like I should be in the snowy weather cause of Mr. Snowman." Yukio chuckled.

It was moreso that Texas was staring at the snowman, but since the snowman was on Yukio's chest, the snowy Pae'il was definitely right. He chuckled at the blush that formed on the snowy one's cheeks. "Technically, you're right. Interesting Mr. Snowman you've got there. Can you make it dance?" The summery one offered a goofy grin before leaning back against the palm tree once again.
"Well, I'll assume you were born around the twenty-fifth of December, too. That seems to be a pattern common of the more wintry types," teased Texas, amused. A lot of Pae'il were born around that time of year, he had noticed.

Yukio giggled, flexing his chest muscles to show Texas what he could make Mr. Snowman do. "He talks more than he dances." The angel said with a laugh.
Oh the date of his birth.. Always fun to remember. "Around then, yep. I think most of us were born then so it only makes sense we like the colder weather." He had noticed a lot of other pae were born around that time of year. Maybe it was like their most fertile season of the year or something. "When were you born?" Yukio inquired, curious.

Texas couldn't help his chuckles when Yukio made the snowman dance. This Yukio wasn't all too bad; at least Magnus and Criofan's incessant trickery had helped him find someone he could call a friend. "My sister Esmee was born around the winter-time too. She seems to favor the spring moreso than the winter, though." Texas shrugged slightly.
As for when he was born... "Mm, I was born on the fifth of June. That's about the time of year when it starts getting warm outside, well, the warmth of the summer starts appearing, that is. I think it's part of the reason why I love the summer weather so much." Texas chuckled. "Talking about the summer makes me miss it."

"It's good she's with Bneut then." He mused, "He'll keep her in a nice cool area." Yukio looked at the shrugging Texas. He really did think those two were good together.
"It'll be here soon enough." The angelic pae smiled, patting the others shoulder lightly as he spoke. "It'll be fun when summer is here." He nodded, hair falling in his face. A sharp exhale later, he turned to look at the beach once more. "I might still visit when it does come around." He smiled at Texas, wanting to see him again.

Mm, indeed, the summer would be here soon enough. The warmer it got outside, after all, the closer the summertime became. He really wished that it could be summer all year around. "You sure?" The demonic naturally became concerned, "It won't be too warm for you to come down here, will it?"
Of course, he wouldn't protest if Yukio could come down here. He seemed like he would be a fun person to get to know. Sure, they didn't have the same favorite seasons--in fact, they had the exact opposite--but he seemed to be an alright guy

With a smile, Yukio nodded. "Of course. You're my friend, why wouldn't I want to come visit?" He chuckled, playing with the sand again. The heat could be tolerable, especially if there was a source of cool water nearby like the ocean or a spring.
"Or would you rather come visit me in the mountain?" A smirk appeared on his face, the thought was amusing. He wouldn't subject Texas to the weather on the mountain. At least not it's peak. If he did want to visit though, he wouldn't be the one to complain.

Yukio called him a friend already? Wow, this man attached quick. Texas would not be so fast to call Yukio a friend, but he was certainly worth getting to know better. When Yukio made a suggestion that Texas come up to the mountains, the summer-loving demonic shook his head rapidly. "No, that's fine. You're welcome to come back down here. We'll just stay near the lake since I love the beach anyway."
It wasn't hard to get rid of Texas's concern in that scenario. He would much rather have Yukio come to the beach than go up to the chilly mountaintops. "I'm sure there's ways for you to stay cool."

How could he not get attached quick when he rarely got to talk to anyone? With the smirk growing to Texas' response, he looked up from the new bit of sand he was playing with.
"What, is the mountain too chilly for you?" He chuckled, teasing Texas because he could. "There's plenty of ways for you to stay warm up there just like there's so many ways for me to stay cool down here." Yukio did enjoy teasing him, it was fun.
"Is there any days you want me to stay away from?" He offered, already planning on coming down again soon-ish.

"Well, yes, but I'm sure it's easier to find ways to stay cool in the hot than to find ways to stay hot in the cold. After all, there is water right here." Texas gestured to the lake that they were sitting nearby.
Were there any days he wanted Yukio to stay away from? That was an odd question. Did he particularly care what day the snowman Pae'il came to visit him? "No, no days in particular. I want you to stay away from days you feel uncertain about for any reason, like if it'd be too hot or if you fear who might be around. But don't fear what day I'll be available."

"You're right." He smiled, amused by the answer he received. "It's easier for me to visit you than you to visit me." Yukio chuckled, digging his fingers under the latest sand sculpture.
"It's not that I fear what days you're available, it's that you might have a date or something special going on you don't want me around for." The angel explained, holding out the sand version of Texas he had made. It was very close in shape to the real one, even the markings on Texas' skin were there, though they were made of snow and had a different texture. "For you."
