"Well, I'm glad to hear that they are in good health, but I must state my concern with your method. If these reagents don't work well together, then why risk the injection at the same site instead of different points allowing them to gradually mingle via the bodies system?"
Though his knowledge in modern medicine was lacking, he did have an idea. That idea is also fortified with a century or so perfecting potions and other concoctions.

"Oh my no," He assured the girls' guardian. "I've made them play nice," he said smiling. "That's where my genetic expertise came into play. There's already been extensive testing that proved they were harmless. I've only got a few more years on the patent before the secrets will be released to the rest of the medical world." He shrugged his shoulders. "And here I am not charging any extra for the benefits. Oh well. In my opinion it's better to do the research for Science than for money."

"Doctor, you misunderstand my concern. I am only concerned with the girls' well being. With any innovation, there is a risk, calculated as it may be, its a risk none the less with my nieces." Especially since they are Gifted. I don't know what ramifications it may induce.

Ronchas laughed, an odd action, considering the mood. "My good sir," he chuckled. "I believe you are missing something." He stopped and turned to the girls. "Why don't you two go to the waiting room. There are toys in the corner you can play with."
When the girls had gone, he continued. "There is risk in everything in life, even living," he explained. "I'm sure you understand that." He put his hand on Sekenre's shoulder firmly. His demeanor was different, much more serious than before. "Do you really want to protect your nieces from everything? You'd have to lock them up in a padded environment, regulate their food consumption, and teach them in a completely unbiased manner." Ronchas laughed lightheartedly again, as though he had never worn that serious expression. "It's impossible! Simply impossible!"
"Besides, any immunization is risky, but much better than the illness it protects from." He wagged his finger at Sekenre. "And required by law."

When Ronchas place his hand on Sekenre's shoulder, Sekenre glared at the hand and as his gaze turned to the man his brow furrowed and ears tucked back.
"I am very well aware of the risks of the living and the dead. You will forgive me for wanting to protect the girls from the devils they do not yet know."
Sekenre then seemed to be looking past the doctor, as if something was there. In an instant his eyes went blank and then returned to normal again.
"Dr. Ronchas, its seems like we All have their interests in mind, we just have different ways of doing it and we may not see the virtue of the other method only because we do not know enough of the other person. I thank you for caring for the girls. Oh, and you needn't worry, I have no intention of locking the girls up, 'The Caged Bird Does Not Sing.'" Sekenre gave a slight chuckle to dismiss the previous, as he took it, insult.
Gaians...I'll need to have Krillo help me check the girls over. Not telling what the doctor may have done on accident.
To Addy: Get you and your sister ready to leave, I'll be out in a moment.

It's about time.
Addy and Lilly had not in fact bothered with any of the toys in the corner. Instead Addy was listening hard with her mind to see if she could hear what was going on in the room. It was a futile attempt. She could hear thoughts, not words through walls.

Lilly got the message through her sister.
It was a good thing there was no one else in the room except for the receptionist, and she didn't really seem to care about what they were doing at all. It would have been obvious to anyone that they were trying to listen in on the conversation in the doctor's office.

Ronchas was intrigued by this man, but in all his experience, he knew there were some beings it's better not to trifle with. There was, after all one such being in his own employ. He nearly shuddered at the thought of ever angering that one.
"Well said," Ronchas replied to Sekenre, returning to the moment. "Well said."

"Well Doctor, if that is all, then I must take my leave and get these girls something to eat. "
Sekenre gave another shallow bow.
"Take care Doctor."
Sekenre turned, and left the office. In the waiting area, he walked past the girls to the door and said, "Come on girls let's go get you some food. First one home decides what I'm making." With that he dashed out the door.
