Lucia heard some sort of commotion going on outside and suddenly there was a nice-sounding female's voice. Obviously things weren't going as Vyn expected. Floating up, she scaled the dressing room walls and zoomed outside of the room. Plastering a grin on her face as she left the safe confines, Lucia floated up between the boys and wrapped her arms around Vyn from the back in a hug. "Everything's fine! She just wanted to ask a second opinion about the jacket," she said to the manager. As the woman smiled politely, nodded, and said something about it looking lovely, Lucia started floating backwards, pulling the Rose with her.
With a soft laugh and a winning smile, Lucia pulled Vyn back into the room and said loudly, "I told you! It looks awesome on you!" The kitten burst into fits of giggles, her nerves and adrenaline melting away as they retreated to the back of the luxurious dressing room. Lucia pulled off the jacket and shirt, resolving to get both. "Wow. So are you okay? What are you going to get?"
Yuurei looked up as Ethan exited the store. "Wow that took a while! The girls went in that shop," she said extending a finger towards the posh store. The blonde glanced at her watch. It was about time to go home, she thought. Walking with Ethan, she held open the door for him. "After you!"

Her heart formed heart pounded so hard that the rose was convinced all three of the shop’s employees would be able to hear it, but thankfully before the deafening organ could burst out of her chest her friend rushed to her aid for the second time. Deftly the cat diffused the situation and pulled her back to retrieve what they had tried on, bursting into tittering laughter.
“Thank you, again.” Vyn mumbled, torn between embarrassment due to ending up in an awkward position in front of her new friend for a second time and seeing the funny side like the cat girl seemed to be. In the end she opted for the latter, creating a bemused expression and picking up both of the things she had tried on. “I think I’ll get both – you can help mod the dress, right?” She was a little hesitant in asking the girl’s aid since they had technically only known each other for a little while, but they were getting on like a house on fire and Lucia had practically offered... “Shall we go to the cashier?”
Ethan nodded in agreement as the woman commented on the time it had taken. The shop management had put up quite a fuss and all the trouble had riled Ethan up till his feathers were well and truly ruffled. However, the woman’s mention of Vyn going along with the other girl pleased him. The rose didn’t often make great attempts at friendship and judging by what he had seen in the troublesome shop the cat-eared frei was appealing to the quiet shadow. Therefore he reduced the scowl of discontent on his face to a lingering frown and entered the shop, looking for the two floating torso and quietly noting the high-end nature of the store. His ward had expensive tastes – not that he minded, he could fund it easily after all.

"Oh don't worry about it!" Lucia smiled as Vyn relaxed again and gave into laughter. I might have been nervous laughter, getting rid of the fear and shock from before, but at least she was calm. Lucia quickly stripped off the jacket and shirt and agreed with Vyn. "I can mod it no problem!" she said confidently. Well, once she read up a little more about it and tried it out on some less important stuff she could.
"I'm getting both too. We'll have to wear the jackets together sometime and just blow everyone away!" Slipping her arm in Vyn's, Lucia nodded and the pair strolled up to the cashier's counter, ignoring the boys on their way out of the room. Lucia waggled her fingers in a wave at Ethan and Yuu as they stepped into the store.
"We're all set!" she said to the pair. "I want these two things," she turned to her guardian.
Yuurei smiled at the girls as she noticed them by the register. Oh good. They're done. The woman glanced at the two articles of clothing that Lucia picked out. The shirt would probably be more reasonable maybe, but she was sure the jacket was expensive. No matter what it cost she could handle it, but she hoped it wasn't ridiculous. "Sure, but we had better be going now" she said glancing at her watch. It was getting late. Once she paid, they had to get home before she missed sunset.

Vyn floated eagerly after Lucia, her rune now bright with a contented glow. “I’d like both too.” She chimed to Ethan, raising the clothing on the hangers to her bust to show her guardian roughly what she desired to purchase. She implored him with her dark eyes to agree to the purchase, hoping that he would remember with clarity the promise that he would provide for what she wanted. Of course he conceded and she floated higher with satisfaction, sweeping and flexing her leathery wings behind her as she propelled herself alongside her friend to the counter. The woman behind it – who had come over to the dressing rooms during her little drama – smiled pleasantly, complimenting her choices and began processing the purchase; her long manicured nails tapping the screen of the computer that was connected to the till.
A brow was raised as the woman announced the price of Vyn’s total purchase. For two items even Ethan (who had clocked the expensive nature of the store) was surprised, but he produced a wad of notes with a cool movement and completed the transaction. Vyn would be happy with what she had bought, that much was clear from the smile wavering about her lips, and he was pleased with that – Lucia was now a welcome name in Ethan’s books.
Taking the now bagged items of clothing from the woman Vyn floated backwards and out of the way so that Lucia and Yuurei could buy their items. Whilst they did that the rose rooted around in the plastic bag she had been given bearing a stylish logo... Carefully she extracted the dress and held it folded in her arms. Lucia had offered to take it and modify it and if Vyn gave it to her now perhaps the cat could get it back to her soon-ish and she could wear it with pride!

Lucia watched at the guardian and raevan pair back up slightly and her eyes turned back to the store manager. She gently placed the two items on the counter and smiled at the woman. Her cat ears twitched at the woman glanced briefly at her missing lower half and scanned each of the bar codes. "Those outfits did look very good on the two of you," the woman said with a pleasant smile. The frei smiled at her and nodded. Boys were such a pain in the a**.
Yuurei placed her Black Card visa on the counter and smiled at Lucia. The kitten was very unlike the spry woman she remembered her grandmother to be, but there was the same twinkle and smirk hidden in her eyes. The blonde signed the slip with a flourish as it was presented to her, though her eyes did dart to the frei as each of the three digits reflected the poshness of the store.
As she was handed it, the Kitten slipped her hand in the handle and waggled a few fingers at the boys before turning around and thoroughly ignoring them, completely missing their blank stares and murmured conversation about crazy chick-things. Slipping her arm in the crook of the Rose's elbow, she smiled and said, "Let's go! I can take that, if you want, and fix it up for you." She motioned to the dress lying over Vyn's arm as they floated to the door. "Unless you want to come over and supervise sometime?" She giggled, happy she had met this new friend. It definitely was a different day than she expected.

The rose tilted her head at the cat’s offer – weighing up her options... Meeting up at the girl’s house would mean extra time to socialise with Lucia and get to know her new friend better, but at the same time she would be expected to possibly help out with the modding and the thought of such a task made Vyn shiver backwards. It wouldn’t be good to embarrass herself in front of the fashionable frei thus she opted for the option of letting the cat do the work on her own and meeting up later on. “Text me when you’ve done it and we can meet up and wear them in town together?” She suggested, floating along with the cat till they reached the high street again – at which point Ethan gave a slight clearing of his throat, indicating subtly that the rose should call this meeting to a close.
Vyn would’ve undoubtedly liked to have spent the remainder of the afternoon with Lucia – exploring more shops and making more purchases. However, she obeyed her father’s hint and broke the link between them floating backwards to his side – though not before draping the clothing over the feline frei’s arm with a light smile.
“See you soon?”

Lucia grinned at the suggestion of spending more time together again. This girl was pretty fun. And then she'd get the necklace! "Sure! I'll let you know when I get it all together!" However, internally it was a little scary to think about trying to adjust the clothing without the client there. What if her wings didn't come out in the same place? What if she didn't make the poofiness of the dress of the dress big enough?
Lucia nodded enthusiastically at Vyn's farewell. "I'll let you know when everything is done," she said with a grin. The frei noted the angle of her wings, the size of her ribbon's curl in relation to her own. She would be fine.
"Well it was great to meet you Ethan, Vyn. I'm sure we'll see you around and at lab events." Yuurei smiled at the pair politely before she laid her fingers on Lucia's shoulder and began steering her towards the car. "Bye!" she called back to the man and frei with a waggle of her fingers. "BYE!!" Lucia called with a wave of her arm before scowling at Yuurei for making her and her new friend part.
