I'm convinced that the poll's answers say the greatest population of us Pokemon lovers is 15-18 for the sole reason that the greatest population of Gaians as a whole falls within that age bracket.
I, unlike most of my generation, did not start Pokemon with Red and Blue when I was in elementary school. No; my brother did all the gaming in our household back then, monopolizing the game systems while I watched and learned. I watched him play Red and Blue and let me tell you, at the time watching paint dry was more exciting. Cause what was the point of being a bystander in an RPG if it didn't have graphics where you could see stuff get stabbed and blow up and stuff? Hence why I was a Final Fantasy and Legend of Dragoon expert, but never got into Pokemon. In fact, for many years, I slandered the living hell out of the entire franchise; I resented the whole thing because the stupid 4Kids-esque (dunno if it was actually them but holy hell it seems like it) anime dub was THE ONLY THING to watch on summer mornings at 9 am.
Until recently. Until my boyfriend bought me a DS. That was about two months ago; I am 21 years old. I got a DS Lite and my very first Pokemon game, Platinum. The game consumed my soul right before finals (I still passed somehow) and has yet to let go. That's okay though, because I'd sell my soul for Slaking with Giga Impact any day. XD!
