I one had a really awful idea that the JGG should splitinto pairs and exchange items to dress up as eachother for purim. WORST. IDEA. EVER.

Behatzlacha-S What's the problem, Neuf? I don't think you should be suffering now, of all times. What's happened? Unless it's a private matter, in which case keep it to yourself. Hmm... lets see... On Friday I was called into work and then canceled at the last minute... on Saturday my computer got Email-Bombed so from Saturday to MONDAY I was fixing, updating and repairing my computer.... I also got called into work on Monday and canceled AGAIN... so I've made absolutely NOTHING this weekend... and tonight, the 30 dollar gift card from Game Stop apparently was used before, so all the money was already spent... so I wasted about 2 hours of my life at a Game Stop while manager after manager tried to figure out what exactly happened to the 30 bucks... and they still don't know but they'll get back to me. Who thinks I can go as Dr. Manhattan? You know since every nerd on the face of the planet is in an uproar right now. It would certainly be easy if i could get my hands on some blue body paint. Hehehehe.

Lumanny PART 3: The king sent out scouts to find beautiful girls to be his new queen. They would compete ina kind of pageant by seeing which girl he preferred after spending a night with each, the winner becoming the queen and the rest being other wives locked in towers with nothing to do but wait for maybe the occasional time the king wanted sex from them every few years. Sort of like that awful "Flavor of Love" show starring Flava Flav and a bunch of women who really should respect themselves enough to tell him to sod off. razz Now, back to Purim. We wear costumes because Hashem was hidden (not mentioned directly) in the story; because Esteir was hidden (didn't tell anyone she was Jewish) for most of the story; and because costumes and masks are FUN. wink We drink because human beings look for any reason to drink, really -- the real obligation is to "become so insensible that one cannot distinguish between Blessed is Mordechai and Cursed is Haman." You can become insensible by falling asleep, too, yet few seem to manage to remember that when someone's offering l'chaims from a bottle all night.
