Her mood altered ever so slightly to adjust to Tempestes. "Oh thats wonderful dear. I'm glad you desided to stay with us for dinner. A cheary ring bouncing out of her mouth like it was the first day of spring. Oh if only Wazaam looked into her eyes. It was like looking into a super computer running millions of processes at once. Each going threw senario after senario to find out which one would suit her needs best.
"Why yes it is. If you'd like you can have a look inside. It's where you were born." She wavered her tail back and forth still acting as happy as she could. "You mother helped to take care of you in that cave- and later after we eat prehaps you can see why your mother loved this pack so much. The moon and stars are ever so brillant over the ocean waves." Though Twist would be half tempted to push her in and drown her- she kept that closely gaurded to herself.

Wazaam nodded, looking at Tempeste with a soft smile.
"Yes, that is our den. You can see it if you like.." He said, voice soft not wanting to frighten the female away.
If only he knew just how much Twist was going to hurt her. If only he knew that he would be fooled once more.
He smiled at his daughter, he wasnt sure if that was what he was to call her, but what else was she to him?

Tempeste's eyes roamed over everything she could trying to capture the layout should the war occur. She intended to give her family every advantage she could. As she moved into the den she was surprised by the way the scent stirred memories of the sea. She pushed away the thoughts and gazed out from the clifftop den.
"Quite the view..." She murmured and sat down with a nod towards Twist and Wazaam. "Does the pack mainly eat the fruits of the sea or the forest?"

She thought about that for a few seconds wondering if she would be giving anything away to her daughter, but seeing there was no harm smiled at her and simply said. "Both." She brought he daughter to the back of that cave that had been lined with furs so they could lie on. "My pack is avid fishers and hunters- so whatever suits there bellies is what they eat..." She nodded again at her words having something sly on her mind.
"Now is there anything my dear you particularly fancy to eat? Fresh bird? Or prehaps trout of the sea? I'll get you anything you like. We have a wide varities of food stored in the cave down below. So anything you want I'll go get. Unless you think I've poisoned the meat, then you can come with me and pick it out youself." She made a slight chuckle at those words and how true they were.
"And for you Wazaam? Or shall I just get the Usual?" She smiled at him then went over and licked his muzzle tenderly.

Wazaam was happy that everyone was getting along so well. He could only wish that Idogbe and Shezaam were here. Though he also wish he knew where his current pups were..But he saw little of them.
"Whatever you are having my love." He said with a smile, wagging his tail
He lay upon the furs, rolling over on his back, splaying his legs in the air with a deep sigh.

Tempeste felt her hackles raise at Twists words, would the cruel female actually poison her? She thought about her mothers warnings, yet Tempeste didn't think that Twist would take things so far. She watched at Wazaam threw himself down and sprawled.
"Just...whatever Wazaam is having is fine..." She murmured. As she watched the alpha male splay out she held back a snort. Why was he so relaxed? Didn't he realize if she was evil she could attack him and rip his throat out while he flopped there like a pup? She thought of her aunt Twix and how she would scold such carelessness.

There was one thing that Tempeste got wrong about Twist. Though she was keniving and mostly evil. She'd never harm Wazaam. He was the only thing in her life that she had affection for and about the only thing she'd consider putting her life for. "Your very cute like that love. When I take our daughter home later I'll take advantage of that." She said with a playful wink and lept out of the cave to where the food she was hiding was.
Once inside she found the fresh hydes of deer meat. Ah these will be perfect. One for Wazaam, Tempeste and herself. Though she'd have to bring the peices up individually. So she'd have to be careful which one she laced in Anatu's poisions. Didn't want Wazaam to get sick...or herself. So the only thing she could do was bring them up seperatly. So in her first two trips she brought up Wazaam's meat then her own. But before bringing up the third meat she nosed threw a small hole she had burried on the side for just a situation like this. Once there she took out a tiny almost acorn looking orb. Anatu told her that she would be able to carry it around in her mouth- and as long as she didn't crack it she could swallow it without harm if need be. So carefully she wedged it between her very back teeth and carried the meat in the front. She then tenderly placed the meat down infront of Tempeste and smiled.
Taking a small nibble for herself she swallowed the chunk and at the same time cracked the acorn secretly applying the poison. Then without much adu swallowed the rest of the empty nut with the meat that was left in her mouth. "So you don't think I'm trying to do you in." She smirked then draged one of the larger bones next to Wazaam and nuzzled on him as she ate.

Wazaam snorted, and grinned.
"We have little ears here darling." He said with his own wink, rolling back over, to stand on his paws.
When Twist appeared with his piece of meat, he instantly started ripping into the flesh. He had not eaten much that day, having been focusing on the water as much as he had been today..
"Thank you Twist." He said with a grin. The only thing that would make this better was if Tempeste was actually here to stay.

Tempeste held back a look of disgust, it was no wonder these two had spawned so many with such little care as to their mental states. She wondered if her other siblings felt neglected or uncared for. Her nose twitched at the meat, something there made bells ring in the back of her mind. She hesitate for a while not touching the meat.
"So...I have many brothers and sisters it would seem?" She watched Twist with narrowed eyes calculating how cruel the female might be. Was the meat tainted, or was her mind tricking her nose into thinking as such? Perhaps she was just being paranoid, her aunt taught her caution, her father had taught her the same, and her mother often warned that things were not as they seemed.
Finally she tore a piece of meat and began to eat but not all of it, the taste was funny on her tongue. Tainted? Or simply an excess of salt she was unused to?

She looked up with a long peice of shattered bone hanging from it. Then she crunched into it and started to lick at the marrow. "Yes you have many brothers and sisters- not to mention a dozen or so cousions and a few more on the way with your brother Hurricane." She then cracked another bone and pushed the peice over to Wazaam. "Try this marrow it's very tasty." She then looked back to her daughter that had taken some of the meat. Ah that one bite will be all thats needed.
She grinned inwardly and continued to watch- the acorn giving her slight indegestion. Though she used all of the poision on Tempeste she was sure there must have been a small bit left at least linning the walls of the nut; she wouldn't feel the same effects as Tempeste but she was sure she'd probally be vomiting the rest of it out later. She sighed, that wasn't something in the least bit she was looking forward too.
"When your done I'll walk you to our borders- but first I want to show you why your mother loved this pack so much." She turned and nuzzled Wazaam once more. "Would you mind if I had some time alone with our daughter? It's just been so long...and I don't think I'm going to get another chance." She looked at him with pleading eyes.

He looked at her cautiously.
"Be nice to her Twist..Remember she is our blood." He said. But then he smiled with a nod.
"I cant say yes or no, thats her decision, but I dont object." He yawned a bit.
"Maybe Ill take alittle nap or so.."

Tempeste was shocked to hear how much family she had, yet she supposed it shouldnt be such a shock. She nodded at Twist softly ready to head home, the idea of sleep suddenly seemed very appealing.
"Yes I should be on my way, and see what drew my mother to remain in the pack so long..." She stood and shook off moving to follow Twist and trying to focus. She glanced back at Wazaam and gave him a slight smile. "Maybe we'll meet again soon..."

Twist could already see that the poision was starting to take effect- in the both of them. Though she suspected she had a higher tolerence to poison then Tempeste did- plus she used alot more on her daughter then herself. She then walked infront of her daughter and for a few seconds screwed up the muscles in her face wishing by god nobody was around so she could be sick. But she had to go threw with the plan- she needed the power. She needed to kill Alas. Her face then straightened up some and she smiled at her daughter taking a secret path to the larger portion of the beach. From here it was possible to see the moon and the stars reflecting on the calm sea below it. Though really the waves were in constant termoil. Billowing agaist the rough rocks that she had built her home on.
"This is what kept your mother going for so long." She pointed her nose out here. "Only she and I knew of this location. It's quite beautiful isn't it?" She took in a large breath of salty sea air, not only because it was nice on the lungs- but she wanted it to keep herself awake long enough so she could get her daughter to Algoma. "To bad you don't live here- this is a great place to find ones self."

Tempeste followed Twist out and looked out surprised at the beautiful surroundings. It was little wonder that her mother had remained in the pack for so long after she had taken her from it. "It's beautiful...I'm sure she misses it."
Tempeste turned to Twist and frowned "This may be my birthplace Twist, but home is where the heart is, perhaps someday I can return and call this home as well..." She frowned a bit as she swayed, things were swimming in her vision now.
Tempeste stepped back as her vision clouded and darkened "Wha...what..." She growled softly before her legs gave out under her. Mama was right... she thought before she cursed herself a fool and sank into oblivion.
