"Dodge and Aqua Tail!" Renekai shouted.
Anima nimbly zipped around Ram and tossed another wave at him from behind. The nice thing about being a Furret was being so quick! She grinned and suppressed the urge to celebrate. It was too early for that!

Ram didn't have enough speed to dodge completely once again, but managed to get away from the water quickly.
Sienna considered their next move carefully. They needed to slow Anima down. Not only was they a huge difference in their stamina, their speed also differed greatly. "Use Thunder and try to paralyze her!" Sienna commanded.
The Rampardos summoned the electricity around him for power and then let it loose with another "DOS!", aiming to paralyze the Furret.

Anima darted out of the way once again. She sat up and swiveled her ears in Renekai's direction, though she kept her eyes glued on her opponent.
"Aqua Tail!" Renekai called.
Anima whipped around, making another flow of potent water.

Yet another wave of water washed over Ram, draining more of his energy. The large pokemon shook off drops of water like a dog with a "DOS!"
"Thunder again!" Sienna called. It was risky, but they needed to stop Anima from moving.
The dinosaur pokemon charged up another Thunder and quickly fired it at the Furret.

"You know what to do!" Renekai shouted. It was getting repetitive, but with only four moves per pokemon per battle, she had to have as many options as she could get. You never knew what you might need!
Anima flattened herself to the ground for an instant before popping up again. She had dodged the attack again! With a wolf-like grin, Anima sent another wave cascading down on Ram.

"Keep it up Ram!"
The Ramparidos obeyed and readied another Thunder to strike his opponent. He quickly jumped off to the side, away from the wave of water headed for him in a miraculous dodge. The dinosaur then let the Thunder attack on it's way.

"Don't give up! Aqua Tail!" Renekai encouraged.
Anima zipped around the bolt, this time feeling it crackle just inches from her fur. She shivered at the near accident before she slammed a glowing blue tail on the ground. A huge geyser of electricity-heated water shot up. While Anima ran away from her own attack, the water rushed at the rock pokemon.

"Once more!" The luck must be wearing thin by now, if only they could get a hit!.
Ram picked up as much speed as he could muster in order to get away from the crashing wave of water. The dinosaur charged up another Thunder and let to go cackling through the air towards Anima.

Knowing that Anima couldn't dodge it, Renekai did the only thing she could, though she disliked it. "Baton Pass, Anima..."
When Anima was returned, Faye was sent out in her place. As the poor mew blinked blearily, still tired from his last fight, he got zapped and paralyzed. "M-Mew...?" he said as his body froze up. After that, he fell to the floor, not able to even cry due to paralysis.
"I'm sorry, Faye..." Renekai whispered. "I hope I can fix this soon..."

Sienna doused the strong urge to celebrate with pity for the poor Mew while commanding "Thief!". The poor thing was a sitting Physduck for now.
Ram charged forward at the helpless Mew and swatted at him with his large tail.

Luckily, Ram somehow missed hitting Faye. "Haze!" she shouted.
Faye gratefully called upon a dark purple mist that cleared away his ailment, as well as all of the stat boosts. Meaning that neither he nor Ram had extra defense or attack any more. But Faye was just glad that he could move again! He floated into the air tiredly, watching Ram.

"Doooos" Ram said sneezing against the purple mist. How did he miss?!
Sienna mentally facepalmed. What bad luck. "It's okay Ram! Just try again!"
"Dos!" Ram called out confidently. He would land a hit this time! The dinosaur pokemon charged forward once more, aiming to swat at Faye with his tail in a thief attack.

Suddenly the darkness rushed up to meet Faye and he collapsed, falling a second time to the crackling floor.
"I'm so sorry, Faye!" Renekai whispered loudly, returning the beaten mew to his pokeball. "Anima, win this for the both of us..." Renekai tossed the Furret's ball out once again.
Anima bounced out, now much less enthusiastic than before. She knew that Faye had fallen, and now it was all up to her... She gulped and faced her opponent.

One down, one to go. This was going to be tough since Anima still had almost all of her energy, unlike Ram and Frey. "Keep it up Ram! Let's go with Thunder again!" Sienna encouraged the tired pokemon.

"Crap," Renekai said. Maybe she should have switched Anima back to take the hit instead of Faye...
Anima whined as she stiffened. She had a bad feeling about this...
