 The what-if voice had been right. By hells and heavens above, it'd been right. She looked down, swallowing nervously as she focused on petting Niita, using the affectionate tentacle as a distraction....albeit not a very efficient one, but one none the less. The confirmation that it was "like" like made the split spawn feel oddly....happy. Though, it was different from her usual feelings of happiness. This was a warm and fuzzy feeling that enveloped her like a blanket...and to be completely honest, it kinda scared her. She took a deep breath, trying to form the words in her head before speaking...and failing miserably. "Ah...well, um....it's okay. I, uh...." She offered a small smile back in return to the girl, blushing. God, now she was sounding even stupider than usual! "It's....it's not really...awkward...it's just..." She trailed off, the hue in her cheeks darkening. She didn't know what else to say, or even how to word the thoughts in her head. She looked back at Adhara, and decided to be brave. She leaned over, wordlessly giving the other girl a hug.

The girl was unsure why, but for some reason, she was unable to stop giggling in such a surprisingly childish manner. She winced a bit, pausing in her strange amusement, as the infant inside of her kicked at the taut skin of her stomach, making her hiss slightly, pressing the palms of her hands to the belly to feel the child move about. Almost impulsively, Niita pulled Azubahiel's hand to Adhi's stomach to feel the movement as well, Adhara previously cooled face heating up once again.
"It's alright. It doesn't have to be anything." Adhara chuckling, smiling in amusement, jumping a bit at the hug, but wrapping her arms around 'Zuba no less, tentacles wrapping around the girl happily as well. She smiled placidly and gave a soft sigh, wings fluttering behind her a bit as she looked toward the pillows at the end of the bed, smiling softly. "C'mon, maybe we should get some sleep, hmm?"

'Zuba blinked as her hand was suddenly pulled to Adhara's extended abdomen, surprised. It was...odd, feeling something moving in there. Knowing that there was a tiny person curled up and snuggled in there. Not mentioning the fact that it was awkward to actually be touching someone's stomach...nope, not mentioning that at all. The split spawn smiled lightly, her blush back down to just a pale pink hue. That had been....nice. She glanced to the pills in question, then nodded. "Yeah...good idea." she said, nodding. She didn't feel that tired, but she knew it wouldn't be too hard to fall asleep.

Adhara smiled and yawned widely, chuckling to herself. "I think so, too," she replied simply, adjusting herself on the mattress so that her belly wasn't getting crushed, but it wasn't crushing her, either. She then tugged 'Zuba's hand a bit to pull the girl to a laying position as well, pulling a previously jostled-off duvet over the two of them, covering them up snugly. Although Adhara, herself, knew better than to be overly-cuddly with a person whom she'd just admitted her feelings to, apparently Reena and Niita couldn't really tell, and pulled 'Zuba close to Adhara, thankfully not attempting anything inappropriate for the time being.
"Nightnight, 'Zuba," she commented with a gentle sigh, amber eyes falling shut as she pulled both arms close to her chest, smiling happily to herself as she regarded the evening that had just passed. "Sweet dreams..."
