"I'm Sariel, who're you little one?" she asked, standing and shaking the rest of the snow from her body like a dog would shake off water.
She laughed at the child's cute pouting look towards the other painter. The Pan'lun's long suffering sigh made her laugh even more, it was like watching a mother and her child, or an older sister grudgingly watching her sibling.
"Could either of you direct me to a Chalet around here? I can't see it from here and would rather not attempt flying again for the moment."
((Sorry if you can see the Chalet from where they are, if so, just act like Sariel is unobservant and pointedly look in its direction or something. ^^;; ))

 Akuma smiled, "Why are you going to visit us Sariel?"
Mabaiah growled slightly, which made Akuma jump and curl close to her head, "I'm sorry Mabaiah..." she whined.
Mabaiah stood and looked the painter over, "The Twin Light Chalet is just up the hill through the woods... What business do you have there?"her voice was calm, but had a sharp coldness to it; as cold as the sudden shift in the weather. The breeze picked up to a chilling gust and frozen rain began to fall.^3^ I got my egg I've been wanting!Please click it so it lives!

Sariel shrugged, ignoring the sudden chill to the air. It was winter after all, these things tended to happen without much notice.
"I was supposed to be coming to meet my...friend's companions. We were racing and I seem to have overshot by...just a bit." she explained sheepishly, scratching the back of her head with a front claw and ruffling her feathers a bit.

Mabaiah nodded and began walking back through the woods up to the chalet, "I'll bring you up there... "Akuma snuggled close to Mabaiah's head and wrapped up in her hair to keep warm.
The trek back to the Chalet was usually a short one, but with the strange weather brewing it took a bit longer. The travel was quiet, but when they arrived at home Akuma sprung from her snuggle spot on Mabaiah's head and ran inside, "Kiyoshi!" she shouted letting it echo through the house.There were soft thudding noises that grew increasingly louder until Kiyoshi burst through the front door with a young child latched to his face.
Kiyoshi rolled onto his back and pried the child from his face, "Why Hello there little one... I brought you a few presents."Akuma's face lit up and she squealed, "Really!? What are they?" Kiyoshi set the child next to him and walked into the house. returning moments later with a bag, he opened it and handed her a container of herbs, "Your favorite..."
She smiled and removed the top to take in the scents, "And they smell as wonderful as ever."He pulled out the next object which was a brown bag, "Something you shouldn't let Mabaiah catch you with..." he whispered and winked to her.
Akuma instantly knew it was a large bag of candy and giggled setting that under her arm as well.He smiled, taking his sweet time to remove the last gift, "Well, I found this girl wondering around... she looked very confused... Though she hasn't spoken a word since i found her... Maybe you'll be able to get something out of her." Kiyoshi removed a flaming salamander that had maroonish brown skin and steel gray eyes. It instantly leaped onto Akuma's shoulder and she jumped, "Woah! What the..." She looked up at Kiyoshi and smiled, "Thank you very much... I'll take good care of her."
Kiyoshi noticed Sariel and quickly walked over to her, "Mabaiah, Akuma... This is Sariel... you two must have met her, but this is the one from my story the last night i was home."Akuma's eyes lit up and she blushed, "I knew there was something about her!" Akuma ran up to Sariel and indicated for her to lower her head, "Are you gonna keep him?" she whispered softly in her ear, wiggling in anticipation for the answer.^3^ I got my egg I've been wanting!Please click it so it lives!

Sariel followed the duo silently, finding the dynamic they shared to be endearing. Akuma was a charming child, in her opinion, and she could see why Kiyoshi had ended his journey in such a place, staying with the two.
When Akuma whispered in her ear her question, it took all Sariel had to keep a straight face.
"Hmm...is he house broken? Does he chew? I'm not committing to anything, but I could be persuaded to keep him around." she whispered back, a smirk on her face.

"Awww! He doesn't do that! He's a good boy, honestly!" she blushed and leaned in to whisper, "And he reeeeaaaaalllly loves you." with that she squirmed away energetically playing with her salamander.
Kiyoshi smiled, "Well, Ladies, Shall we head inside and i'll fix up a few campfire delights?" he stepped between Sariel and Mabaiah to escort them inside.
Akuma was already ahead of the troops and managed to swirl her way into the house and make a play fort out of blankets and large futon pillows for her and her new friend to play in.
