Yeah, this girl is definitely from Dragon Ball... it's going to take her eleven posts to power up.... O.O that's about 165 seconds.... v.v' Almost three minutes...))

"I know that you can use your energy. But I also see that you don't have enough of it to do you any good. Besides, your flying skill, --while useful-- is somewhat cumbersome to use. I want you to power up as much as you can, and I want you to learn a few new tricks for flying. Sound good?" Arin knew she had enough ki without charging up to keep up with the girl, probably even at full power. Arin watched the girl to see just how powerful she was.
Aki listened as she was actually asked if she wanted to train. Of course she did. If she could be so easily beaten by this woman, she definitely wanted to learn how it had happened. So she closed her eyes, twirled her bo off of the ground and balanced it on her interlocked hands in front of her, and began to pull her ki out of her body. It began slowly, her hair fluttering slightly. OK... Let's do this... I can't disappoint her. I can't embarrass myself in front of her...

Arin noticed how slowly the girl was powering up. She thought that this was going to take a while. She was right. Arin decided to wait as aki, her student presently, charged herself as quickly as she could. She was a patient person. But she was going to reinforce this girl's control over her ki. There was no opponent on any planet that would wait for her to power up. But Arin though it was cute. The girl was trying as hard as she could.
Aki pushed herself as fast as she could, but she just wasn't very good at this. Her hair fluttered a little bit more, but it wasn't extraordinary. She tried to push harder, but the ki was so difficult to draw out that soon she began to question whether she actually needed this much to do whatever training Arin had planned for her. It had only taken her a little bit more than this to learn to fly, and it had only taken her a day to learn that. How difficult could a few drills be?

Arin saw the struggle behind Aki's eyes. It unsettled her. "Aki... You can stop now. I don't think you will need much more than that. It's not worth exhausting yourself over now. Besides, we're not trying to push any limits at the moment, we're just going to learn a few new tricks, right?" And Arin saw the relief in the woman's eyes as she was given permission to stop.

Aki let herself relax, a slight red tinge to the air around her. "So what did you have in mind, Arin?" Aki was anxious to prove herself. She didn't want to be a weight on Arin's shoulders, and she was determined that it wouldn't happen. So she wanted to get started, almost lifting off the ground in anticipation. What secrets to flying can she have? She is from a ways away, I know... But what exactly does she know that I don't?
Arin decided that showing the girl would be simpler than explaining it. She vanished and appeared in front of Aki, leaving no footprints, but instead a small, straight trail in the loose dirt. She was inches from Aki's face. Wait... She was inches from Aki's face... She was floating. That explained it. "Boo." If that wasn't a demonstration of this style, then nothing was. Arin was amused.
And Aki simultaneously blushed and fell backward as Arin manifested herself directly in front of her face. "How the hell did you do that!?" She picked herself up, waiting for instruction. She definitely did not want to miss a word of it. With a flight style like that, it has almost endless uses. But Aki thought of only two at this moment: It would make Arin think more highly of her, and it would be useful to get the jump on your opponent to beat them into a bloody pulp before they knew what hit them.
"Instead of propelling yourself with ki from two different sides, force your ki quickly from behind you. Think of it as a flying sprint. It won't make you hit any harder, because you used all your ki getting there... But not very many people can follow something like that with their eyes, making it invaluable a technique for fighting, letting you surprise someone with an attack." Arin was still floating in the air, never having set down.
Aki was anxious to try it. She was going to try in a straight line away from the ground. That seemed like it would be the best demonstration of her skill with it. She focused her ki and coiled it like a spring before she attempted to force it out in an instant, as Arin had done. She so desperately wanted to get this done on her first try. And she completely gave herself to the effort, not allowing failure to be an option.

And Aki almost had it, too... She was almost able to do it, but she felt herself traveling more slowly than she should have been, and she dropped back to the ground gracefully. She braced herself to try again, coiling her ki like a spring and taking a deep breath before she opened her eyes and looked to the sky. She had to show Arin what she was made of. She had to.... She heard Arin's advice, and she built up even more ki into her already coiled spring, letting herself fly into the air.
Arin watched as the girl almost perfected the technique on her first try... She was impressed. On Arin's first try, she had spiraled out of control, but this girl definitely fit the bill of a quick learner. "You almost had it. Try to build more ki this time. But don't lose control of it. As much as you're comfortable with." Arin wasn't particularly cruel... She was just.... normally standoffish... She never spoke to anyone because she hadn't wanted to... And she saw how much it upset them to be ignored.

Aki felt herself veer off course, but Arin caught her and she realized that she would have passed over the edge of the cliff. It's OK... It's only your second try... She blushed again when she realized just how Arin was holding her. She was supporting Aki by the waist, and was whispering in her ear. Aki had to force herself not to shudder. She didn't quite know what she felt... But she wasn't going to let it interfere with her training... Aki accepted that she had failed with a sigh, landing and closing her eyes again, imagining exactly what she should look like performing the technique, and hoped that it would help her master it sooner. Come on... She's watching you... Doesn't that mean anything?
Arin saw Aki shoot her energy off at the wrong time, flying towards the cliff's edge. She was moving before she even knew she was going to, but she found herself softly catching the girl before she could go any farther, whispering in her ear. "Careful... It's tricky... But don't worry... It's only your second try. We can't expect you to be perfect. Not yet." Arin smiled and set the blushing Aki down on the ground lightly, flying back into the air, to catch the girl if she needed it again.

Once again, Aki veered off course, exactly as before. She had made the same mistake twice in a row. It was definitely tricky, but what really bothered her was that she was even flying in the same direction she had been. She wasn't going to be able to stop herself. She closed her eyes, knowing that she might barely be able to stop herself, but with as tired as she was from her fight and from her training, she might not be able to pull herself together in time.
Once again, Arin darted forward to catch the girl, this time flying underneath her and catching her by the front before she was able to stop her from flying over the edge. She smiled softly, holding the girl against her as she lower her towards the ground. "I made that mistake, too. The trick is to find exactly which thing didn't work. And it's very hard to do that. I promise, though... You'll get it." Arin held on to Aki warmly, and started to transfer some of her latent energy to the girl.
Aki felt the warmth that was surrounding Arin, and it was strange that it comforted her. She was even growing stronger. And then she realized what Arin was doing. She was sharing her energy... She was letting Aki have some of her own power so that she could continue. Aki wrapped her arms around Arin's waist, being careful of her tail whose soft fur tickled her hands lightly, and opened herself to the connection as energy flooded into her. It was more than she had ever had before, and she felt a burning aura surround her, enveloping Arin, as well. But neither of them flinched. They shared energy types, too, so both of them were filling with the same fiery energy... Aki smiled.
Arin lightly set the girl down on the earth again. "There... That should hold you." Arin smiled softly, backing away almost reluctantly, waiting to see the girl with the crimson aura work her magic.

Aki was positively overflowing with energy, and she was completely rejuvenated. She built up her --Arin's she thought with a smile-- ki and prepared to spring forward again. She felt that just one time and she would be able to understand and replicate what she did. And she knew that it was true. If she could get it right just once, she would know how to do it for good. She coiled herself to spring, and released her ki.
Arin just watched. What she had just done... She didn't know how to explain it.... It was strange... It had felt right... Not only not felt wrong, but it had felt right. She could still feel the warmth of Aki's skin, and her fingers brushing lightly against Arin's tail. She shivered softly, glad that Aki had her eyes closed in preparation for her technique. Arin was ready to spring again if she needed to. Any excuse to touch her was worth it just for that feeling again... What the hell is happening to me?

And once again, Aki miscalculated. She was slowly working down to what was wrong with her technique, but she was wondering if she wasn't doing it just to be saved by Arin. Aki flew higher than normal, but she made the same mistake, her path suddenly changing. She closed her eyes again, waiting for the time that Arin wouldn't be able to save her. She didn't know if she wanted Arin to save her... Whatever was happening to her was driving her insane...
Arin saw the very instant that Aki had taken off that it was going to happen again. She dashed forward, catching Aki in much the same way as before, catching her around the front as the human girl wrapped her arms around Arin in reflex, the saiyan clenching her teeth as she felt Aki's hot cheek against her neck as the girl bent closer into her. She set Aki down again, brushing her hand needlessly across Aki's cheek as she let her go, disguising it as a movement to help the girls hair out of harms way of her armor. "Almost... Just keep trying. You'll get it."
Aki nodded, glad that her aura was hiding the brilliant crimson her cheeks had flushed. That had been unnecessary... But she wouldn't have done it any differently if she had had the chance. She took a deep breath as she steadied herself for her next attempt, watching as Arin rose into the air again. OK... I can do this... I can do this...

Aki felt it again. Something had gone wrong. She had narrowed down the list of culprits, but somehow there was one thing eluding her grasp. She felt the wind hitting her, and then she was only anticipating the feeling of Arin's body on her own. She had a feeling that she knew what she was doing wrong, but was just lacking the conviction to correct it. She really was a soft human. She closed her eyes as the air bit against her.
Arin was ready again, almost anticipating the change in course, dashing before she had seen exactly where Aki was going, somehow knowing exactly where she would be. Arin captured the girl from the air, almost cursing her armor for keeping that warm body away from her. It felt right. And that's all she cared about. Whether or not she could ever have the Universe, she wasn't going to care. She knew that this felt right, and she would teach this girl how to fly for the rest of time just to keep catching her. She smiled, setting Aki on the ground and squeezing her lightly before letting her go. She didn't even have to say anything. Aki knew that Arin was patient and was going to help her through this rough spot.
Aki felt her feet touch the ground, but her heart hadn't gotten the memo to come back down to earth. She took another steadying breath. Coiling herself to spring, she prepared to push off again.

Aki corkscrewed through the air, so quickly that her hair didn't even flare out, keeping to her body as she blasted into the sky. Why was this so difficult? She definitely wasn't going to give up. Not after all of this. And because she felt perfectly fine even when she failed. There really was no losing here. Once again, she missed Arin's miraculous save because she closed her eyes. And then she was being cradled by her friends arms. Friend?
And the saiyan girl disappeared and reappeared, spinning around the girl and timing her catch so that she was behind her, burying her face in her hair "Got ya." Arin grinned, breathing the scent of Aki's hair deep before she controlled their flight and brought them down to earth again. "It was better this time. You've almost got it." She let the human go, her hands brushing along her hips as she let the girl go, backing up as Aki prepared to go again. She decided to remove her armor, and slipped lithely out of it, placing her scouter inside the suit and wearing nothing but her skin-tight black body suit, before she returned to the air.
Aki was on the ground again. Arin had disappeared somewhere, but she knew she was close. Focusing her ki, she prepared to jump. But at the last second, she saw Arin in nothing but a skin-tight black outfit.

Aki was thrown off course by the body that was floating above her. She had been completely distracted instantly, and she had continued with her jump anyway, forgetting that she was even about to try again. She didn't know which way was up or which way was down. She just knew where Arin was. And she couldn't stand to close her eyes this time. She saw it as Arin disappeared from her vision. She grew immensely sad at that, hoping she would be able to keep the girl in her sights.
And then Arin was there, cradling Aki tightly against her body, floating in mid-air. Arin closed her eyes and slowly lowered them to the ground, blissfully aware of every single place that Aki was touching. Arin smiled, slowly releasing Aki and backing into the air again, almost teasing the human as she smiled. Arin could see the shade of red that Aki had turned, and she was strangely glad that she had. Now I'm glad that I can tease her. Wow. I'm pathetic. Arin smiled wider.
Aki was determined she was going to do it this time. And she knew exactly what she was going to do for incentive. If Arin wanted to tease... Well, two could play at that game. Coiling her ki, Aki prepared to spring.

It's your turn. Aki knew that she had it down perfect. She dashed so quickly at Arin that she was surprised she could keep her eyes open. She was also surprised that when she had a target, she would stop just before she reached it. She was not surprised when she wrapped her arms around Arin without a fight. But she was definitely surprised when she felt Arin grow so hot at her touch that it was surprising she wasn't on fire.
Arin was shocked when Aki darted towards her. And she was even more shocked when Aki grabbed her and pulled the saiyan to her. In fact, she was so amazed that her entire body flushed the same color of red as Aki's cheeks, growing so hot that she pressed herself against the other girl to try and control herself. Tons of good that did. Arin shook lightly, wrapping her own arms around Aki and melting into her. They stayed like that for a while, completely forgetting where they were and why they were there.
Aki felt Arin press against her, and shuddered slightly, her hands sliding down the saiyan's waist to support her and to pull her into the human. She didn't even care who saw them. She didn't care who cared. She knew what felt right, and damn any earthlings who decided to try and stop it from happening.

Arin smiled, realizing that they had touched back down onto the ground, and that her cheek rested on Aki's chest. She took a deep breath. She didn't want to go anywhere. She wanted to stay right here, but she knew it just couldn't be. She slowly let Aki go with a sad sigh. "Good job... Aki...I-" She let her voice trail off. She wasn't going to finish what she said. She didn't know what she wanted to say... She knew what she'd like to say... But was that really what she wanted to say? She settled for something that she needed to say... "Is there a way for us to make money on this planet? To make a lot of it very fast?" It was almost blasphemy... She hated herself for saying it the second she asked.
Aki seemed to understand, pulling softly and slowly away form Arin. There was so much that she wanted right now... But what was more important was their safety... If someone found out an alien was recruiting to conquer the Universe... Well... Things could get ugly. "Yes... In fact, that's where I was heading when we found each other..." She still hadn't let go of Arin, her hands were resting on the saiyan's waist. "There is a tournament that is offering quite a sum of money to the winner. There isn't a current champion, so it's going to be a fight against every member of the competition. There's supposed to be some great fighters there, though..."
Arin smiled softly. "Come... We can get there much faster this way." Arin floated off the ground and began to fly at a leisurely speed towards her pod. She didn't see the point in calling it when they were seconds away. Besides, having been built for that overgrow oaf of a saiyan, there was more than enough room for both Arin and Aki inside. Arin had grabbed her armor and her scouter and Aki grabbed her bo, and they had taken off.
When they landed, Aki warily watched the pod. "You have a Space ship?"
"we have a space ship. Everything 50/50, right?" Arin held Aki's hand as the door hissed open, revealing the more-than-comfortable interior. "There's not all the space in the world to move, but there's more than enough for us to share." She grinned, squeezing Aki's hand as they climbed in and the door shut.
"Hello, Queen Arin. Who is accompanying you?"
"She is called Queen Aki. You will treat her as you would me."
Yes, milady. It is good to meet you, Queen Aki." A panel opened up and a small remote slid out. The pod only had one spare.
"Ummm... Thank you..." Aki took the remote, looking at Arin teasingly "Queens, huh?"
She replied with a smile "They just don't know it yet." She turned to speak to the pod. "There is a tournament taking place. We need to go there as soon as possible, but don't make a scene. We would prefer it if people didn't know we had a pod."
"Of course, milady"
Aki took Arin's hand as the pod lifted off, and Arin gave her a comforting smile, raising her hand to her lips and kissing it lightly "We'll be just fine, Aki... Don't worry."
The pod was at the tournament in a matter of minutes, landing under the radar in a group of trees just a mile away.
They were just outside of a rather large city. In fact, this would probably be the best place to find a space ship, too. "Ok, Aki... Lead the way."
Aki had no problem at all taking Arin by the hand and running through the city, the saiyan in her armor and scouter, and the human carrying her lacquered bo. They came upon an arena that was sizable, and they could hear the bustle of people as they tried to get in to watch... But not very many people were trying to get in to fight... There seemed to be a vast amount of posters up for some fighter named 'Akachi' or 'the hand of God.' Pretentious idiot. Aki immediately hated him. But he seemed to be familiar to her. In fact, he was one of the most impressive and ruthless fighters on the planet. She just wanted to beat him and show him he wasn't all he was cracked up to be.
She lead Arin towards the booth built into the wall of the stadium that was recruiting fighters. They were desperate. They had had so many people drop out when Akachi showed up that they wouldn't be able to hold the tournament. They didn't even ask any questions when the girls asked to join. They had enough fighters for the tournament now, and they had enough customers to pay the payout three times over. The girls were instructed to head to the back rooms, so they could get ready for the fights. The rules were posted.

Shoving every person in the place aside, Arin reached Aki, who was bandaged about her middle, but was otherwise OK. Arin looked at her, and a tear spilled down her cheek before she reached down and wrapped her arms around the girl softly.
"I'm fine... I'm fine..." This amazing warrior was crying because Aki had been injured... Aki smiled, wrapping her own arms around her savior, and burying her face her the saiyan's neck.
"Don't scare me like that..." Arin smiled, breathing in the scent of her as if to make sure she could never lose her. She never wanted to, that was for sure.
"Um... Excuse me... But they're asking for you in the arena, Arin..."
"They would be." Arin reached down to pick up Aki, but she wouldn't have it. She stood up and put on her clothes, walking out beside Arin, holding her hand as she saw the destruction of the arena. Arin smiled, looking at the roaring crowd.
"Congratulations, Arin! You've done the impossible and you've defeated Akachi, securing the title of champion! On top of winning whatever you wish that's in our power to give you, you've won all the money that Akachi was too stupid to spend! What are you going to do with your fame and wealth?"
Arin scoffed, kicking and breaking Akachi's neck again, to finish him off completely. "I'm taking Aki, and I'm leaving this planet. If this is the best of Earth, then I don't want to be here anymore. Keep his money and give me the best space ship this planet has to offer."
"C-consider it done!" The announcers voice was quivering. She had just given away all the money Akachi had ever made... billions of dollars in prize money... What a foolish girl... "Your ship will be waiting for you outside of town in just a few hours!"
Arin took Aki by the hand after she had retrieved her bo and took off into the sky, anxious to be out of that place and its painful memory. They landed just outside the city, near their pod. "Well, there you have it, love. The second ship in our fleet. How does it feel to be on the way to ruling the Universe?"
Aki grinned and laughed a little. "It kind of makes my stomach hurt."
Arin smiled and looked at Aki. "Awww... here." She leaned in and kissed Aki, pulling her softly to her as she gave herself in to the kiss. There's no telling how long it lasted, but they stayed that way, lost in each other, until night had fallen and they heard a rumbling overhead. Sadly, they broke away from each other, looking up at the gargantuan black ship with red windows that loomed above them. It was enormous... It could have held two spaceships in itself. Arin didn't see how they could even get it to fly. But there it was. She smiled at Aki "How's that going to look to all who oppose us?"
Aki was gaping... She couldn't believe what she was seeing. And the ship touched down not two hundred yards from them. It blasted air in every direction as it landed. It was fifty feet tall, and just as wide, a perfect sphere that had four retractable legs. Hundreds of windows lined each of the five floors that it housed. "Arin... Did they make a mistake?"
"I don't think they get much better than that." Arin smiled and kissed Aki on the cheek, running forward to meet it as two humans came out of the ship on a descended platform
"Ah. You must be Arin." He shook her hand, and turned to Aki to shake hers. "And Aki. Can't tell you how pleased I am to meet you. This is your ship. It's voice-controlled, it's got an on-board garden, a gravity chamber, and a docking bay big enough for six small ships. Six fully furnished bedrooms, and a kitchen. That's not counting all the miscellaneous oddities. I'm sure you'd like us to leave." He smiled "So if you need anything, there's a paper copy of the manual and the ship can tell you anything you need to know. OH! Almost forgot. We know you like to fight, so it's got a pretty decent medical center with --again-- six rejuvenation tanks."
"Well jeez... Did you throw in the planet to boot?"
The scientist smiled "Only just enough" He replied, turning with his assistant and walking towards the city.

"I think he was afraid of us..." She grinned slyly. "Well then... Shall we, my love?" She took Aki's hand.
Aki blushed, walking beside Arin onto the ship as the door closed behind them. Instantly, a woman's voice spoke to them.
"Hello. My name is Alice. I am your on-board computer. May I ask your names?"
"My name is Queen Arin."
Aki grinned and remembered her title. "I am Queen Aki."
"It is very nice to meet you. Is there anything I can get you?"
The door had brought them to the third floor. The lushest and most decorated floor of the entire ship. Arin looked around and looked to Aki, who was staring in amazement. "I would like you to open the docking bay, and allow a ship inside. It's on its way. Afterward, I want to depart for planet Nexum. The other ship will have the coordinates. Other than that, we'll be sure to let you know if we need anything." Arin hit the call button on her remote. Everything was going so smoothly. She smiled to her partner "And think. All we had to do was kill one of the strongest humans to get it. Shall we pick our rooms?" She was careful to say 'rooms' instead of 'room,' because she wasn't sure what Aki would want.
"Actually.... I get kind of nervous when I'm sleeping alone." She whispered slyly into Arin's ear "And since there's no one else, I guess I'm just going to have to come with you, huh?" She grinned, whispering the last so close to Arin's ear that Aki's breath tickled her neck.
Arin closed her eyes and inhaled involuntarily. "I- suppose I can take you in... If I have to." She grinned, kissing Aki lightly and taking her by the hand to the room at the rear of the ship, where all six rooms were spread in an equally spaced circle. She smiled and pushed the door open. It was a very large room. It was large even by this ship's standards. It had a bathroom, and even --and this perplexed her-- a television set. These humans were downright pathetic. she laughed, walking in and towards the bathroom as Aki walked towards the mahogany dresser opposite it. Arin lithely slipped out of her armor, down to her black suit again.
Aki saw her in the mirror, and her hand tightened as she repressed a shiver of delight. She couldn't get over that gorgeous body. And even her tail was attractive, sleek and black. She turned around, slipping out of her jacket as she turned. Two can play at that game. "You know... I need a bath." Aki wasn't particularly dirty... At least her body wasn't.
Arin had to fight to keep her breath. "I thought you got nervous alone..."
Aki stepped up to Arin, leaning in like she was going to kiss her... And then walked by, sliding her hand along Arin's gorgeous stomach "Who said I had to be alone?" She whispered into Arin's ear as she passed.
