Helios chuckled as he imagined one of them about to take a bite out of a namrah tail. Of course he didn't imagine any further than that; actually biting someone would have been horrid, no matter how good it would have tasted. He didn't like the thought of deliberately hurting someone.
He paused in mid-chew as Blossom said his name, then with his brow wrinkled in puzzlement, he swallowed before speaking. "Of course. I consider you a great friend." He continued to look at her, bewildered. "Why would you ask that? Have I acted in some way that makes it seem like we aren't friends? Because if I did, I didn't mean to and I'm sorry."

"No, no, you're a great friend...I'm sorry I brought this up." She looked away, trying not to act too guilty. Deciding to change the topic, she paused a moment before thinking of something. "Hey, do you think there's some sort of a park nearby? I could use some entertainment," she said lightly with a grin.

Still looking puzzled, Helios looked around as though expecting a park to materialize. "We could always look around and see; it would be fun to find a candy-park." He stood up, still looking confused. Why would Blossom feel guilty? Had he misunderstood the question? He had heard something a long time ago about people asking questions and meaning something else entirely, expecting an answer fitting the unspoken question instead of the spoken one. He wanted so badly to try and get Blossom's unspoken question answered, but it didn't seem like she wanted to talk about it anymore, so he tried to forget about it.
Instead, he began to walk slowly over to the edge of the trees. "If there was a park here, it would probably be at the edge of the forest. Let's see if we can find one."

Blossom nodded in agreement; partly because she really did agree, and partly because she was so lost in her other random thoughts. She trailed behind him silently, contemplating how to makes things less awkward than they were right now. "I'm sure that we can find one," she said softly, trying to fill her head with images of frosty and sweet seesaws, swings, and other toys one would usually find in a park.

Thinking that this world would probably oblige them whatever they wanted, if the castle full of sweets was any indication, Helios kept picturing a playground as he walked forward, the distraction helping him to put aside his confusion for the time being. He had to just not bring it up and hope that in time, Blossom would try to ask again and then he would try and give a more adequate answer.
He came upon a break in the trees and smiled as he saw the unmistakeable sights of a candy-land playground. There was a dome-shaped jungle gym made of peppermint sticks all jumbled together, a see-saw made of a huge bar of chocolate, a sandbox that looked like it was full of pop-rocks, a slide with all manner of colors that seemed to be made out of an unraveled lollipop, swings with bubble gum tape seats, and animals made of gummi for climbing on. Helios looked over at Blossom, amazement on his face. "Did we imagine all of this?"

"Perhaps? I'm quite surprised myself," Blossom said, staring around at the masterpiece of candy surrounding her. It was almost surreal, but, it was a dream anyways. An amazing dream, she had to put. "Do you want to go and try the see-saw over there?" she asked, pointing to the bar of chocolate swinging a little in the cool breeze that went by.

Helios let his eyes wander over to the tantalizing bar of chocolate, even fancying he could smell it as the breeze drifted by. "I wouldn't mind, so long as it doesn't melt on us...." He suddenly realized that he had never tried a seesaw before, though he knew how one worked. Hopefully he knew enough to make it work, and not have any special moves or means of enjoying the edible plaything.
He walked rather tentatively over to the seesaw and lowered himself onto one end, doing his best to find a pawhold for when Blossom got on.

As Helios sat down on one end of the seesaw, the other side went up into the air, as Blossom had expected. The tricky part now was just for her to get on. She bit her lip, trying to figure out a way to get to the other end without Helios getting off. She carefully straddled the center of the chocolate bar, and slowly pushed herself up towards the other end. "I hope we weigh about the same," she said as she felt herself sink a bit lower to the ground.

Feeling the end of the bar that he was perched on rising as Blossom climbed upon her end, Helios gripped the chocolate bar with his paws to steady himself, smiling as he felt his back paws leaving the ground. "Feels a little like flying up real slow, doesn't it?" He smiled as he saw Blossom settle herself on the other end. "I think we do weigh about the same, so we shouldn't worry. Now how do we make it go?"

Blossom smiled, just letting the sensation of near weightlessness overtake her senses for a short while. "Maybe if we try to apply our weight seperately," she said as she tried to focus all her attention in making her side of the chocolate bar go down. Almost hesitantly, her end started lowering itself to the ground. "Now you try, I guess? she said to Helios.

"Okay." Once he saw Blossom's end of the bar reach the ground, Helios focused on bringing his weight down, watching with a smile as Blossom began to rise as a result. He felt his paws touch the ground, and letting the end of the bar touch the ground, he scrunched up his legs and pushed up, not as hard as he could, but enough to send him back up in the air, and Blossom back down. "This isn't so bad; in fact it's fun." He smiled over at Blossom as he began to sink down to the ground once more. "Is this fun for you too?"

"It is actually pretty fun," Blossom replied with a slight smile on her face. Inside, she was a bit worried as to what Helios thought of her in general, but she tried not to show that on the outside. Instead, she repeated what Helios had just previously done, pushing herself back up into the air not too forcefully as her paws touched the ground again. "Do you want to try some of the other equipment later?"

In spite of the fun he was also having, Helios found himself unable to completely banish that odd moment he and Blossom had had before they found the playground. He so badly wanted Blossom to ask the question again, to give him another chance to respond the way she had wanted him to, but he didn't seem to have any idea how to get her to ask again.
Not knowing how close their feelings mirrored each other at that very moment, he smiled at Blossom as he rose into the air. "Certainly. I have heard wonderful things about the equipment that you hold onto as it spins you around and around. And slides have always looked fun."

Blossom grinned excitedly as she heard Helios speak about the other equipment. "Spinning around and around and going down slides?" she asked curiously. "Sounds fun!" Laughing lightly, she waited until she was on the lower end of the see-saw before carefully stepping off, still holding her end of the chocolate bar so Helios wouldn't come crashing down. She released the pressure she was applying to her end slowly until Helios was safely at the ground.

Grateful for Blossom's consideration in getting off so that he wouldn't land really hard, Helios carefully got off of the chocolate bar seesaw and looked around for the merry-go-round. He spotted it on the far side of the playground, with a hard candy base and bars made of peppermint sticks. "I see it over there," he said happily and he trotted over to it to inspect it. "Hmm.....looks like one of us has to push. Why don't you go ahead and get on and I'll push it?"
