Angel Of Band xD at band camp in the morning we spell stuff out: G O O D M O R N I N G Goodmorning! Hey, Hey, Goodmorning! We do it with "Evening" too.
Oh god...
our whole band does that EXACT thing in the mornings.
Drumline just kinda walks away like "oh how embarrassing..."
The director makes it all lame like AYEEE LETS START THIS OFF WITH A GOOD MORNING.

We have one with the whole band; The percussion does this little rhythm tht i can't remember to save my life. but we just clap in eighth note time to it and at the end they go 'dut duda du dut' and the whole band[who has been sitting the entire time] does half standing pelvic thrust and yells "HUH!!" and they do it abt 4 times.
then we have one the drumline does for the cheer leaders, but the band members make fun of the cheer leaders. "NOISEEEEEE! Lets make some noise up in here!" then it's 'tap tap' you don't want not 'boom' noiseeeeeee 'tap tap' you don't want no; then the drums go back to their rythym. And the whole time the band stand up and jumps back and forth clapping like the cheer leaders....it pisses them off biggrin

We used to do that and then we would have to do this weird dance thing. I'm alive[hands in the air] awake[hands on shoulders] alert[hands on knees] enthusiastic![hands on feet] and you repeat it in the same manner you do the 'head shoulders knees and toes' thing.

The only thing I can think of that would be kind of a cheer would be when we finish playing the cadence Funky Butt Lovin the entire band always screams "It tastes so goooood." Might be a cheer, I have no idea.

well we'll play a cadence and there is a gap in the middle where we can put
"gold teef fer err body"
"icecream and cakey cake"
"icecubes and garden snakes"
and u konw that kfc chinese guy i like "chiiiiiiiickeeeeeeeeennnnnnn!"
we'll say that also

We have Stick It In and Ohhhh Snap.
Stick It In: Cadence with a 'whoa' on every other beat, six times and then they pause and we all shout 'STICK IT IN STICK IT IN STICK IT IN' and it repeats until our director cuts us off.
I really don't know why he lets us do that since it sounds so wrong. xD
Ohh Snap: Another cadence thing but the only thing we say is at the break and we all go 'OHHHHHH -SNAP-!' and repeat the whole thing...until the director cuts us off.
During the Hey Song, all we do is shout 'HEY' at the point where we're supposed to. lol.

our drumline says "backseat, windows up, that's the way we like to hit it!" right before they start the cadence
(not in parades or anything though lol)

We have a few:
One is right before we go on the line groups up and one person says "CUPCAKES CUPCAKES" and the response is "EAT EM EAT EM" there is an inside joke behind it.
we also have one for football games. If the ref calls a foul on us but we dont think that is true we yell "nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts, we got screwed!"
Also we have a point in out show where there is a drum break and at the end there are 3 beats rest which have been filled with various things: steve is gay, yeah we rock, feel my drum (this is the one used during the show. the others are just there to tease people)

we dont really have cheers we focus more on cadences and such. but at awards we stand in front of the band and sway the whole time shoulder to shoulder

The drumline has a cadence called "Ice Cream and Cakey Cake" which is affectionately referred to as, "Cake."
There is a 2 beat pause, in which we yell one of the following:
"ICE CREAM AND CAKEY CAKE!"
"GOLD TEEF FOR ERR BODY!"
"NYA NYANYA NYA NYA!"
"ICE CUBES AND GARDEN SNAKES!" (Last year's band captain, exclusively.)
For the next parade (which is in like, May) we might yell "CADE IS A COLLEGE GRAD!"
Cade is our drumline instructor who is more than likely moving to Texas pretty soon. He graduates college on the 19th. (He's 26, and awesome at everything on drumline.)
EDIT: Well, one of our snares beat me to it. D: blehh. RFE, lolfu.
