It is nice to be too generous. There is no valid reason to feel responsible for doing another. biggrin
How is your Mom feeling?!? I figure that technically everything is proceeding well, but is she cooking for herself already, etc? She still cannot reach for things, right?

Well, people are more likely to visit a thread that has giveaways and contests going on. And more people visiting usually means one or two stick around and join the guild. D:
Mom's doing okay; she still can't use that arm for anything more than minor lifting, and of course no reaching above her head. I can't remember how long that's supposed to go on. It's hard for her because even in this condition, she has ridiculous amounts of energy, and she forgets her limits. >.<

I'm glad she is feeling so well. I do know what you mean about her frame of mind. I had to chae Dad out of the kitchen on his first morning back home. He was trying to sneak some sausage which he knew would be off the diet once they had time to send him "the list". Silly Parents!!! biggrin I would have no trouble relaxing for recovery. . .

I know what you mean. It's weird having to be the calm, rational "parent" to my mom. xD And I too would have no problem relaxing for a recovery. Not that I would want to go through anything major like that, but sheesh. Any excuse to take it easy would be nice!

I feel so proud now. mrgreen Had a very nice conversation at puzzles today, actually twice. I was bit wondering will people think I'm being smart a** again but nope. Kids there surprisingly weren't rude or thinking I'm old perv. Showing off some Internet lore 'I know some stuff you don't' helped. Telling when smileys were invented impressed them. Some perspective. xd
This made my day. *small happy dance*
Smileys are invented by Scott E. Fahlman at 1982. Year of my birth, twenty-seven years ago.

Quite well, actually.
I just wrote an example of roleplaying to Final Fantasy Addicts Anonymous guild and waiting way too eagerly Tuesday when I actually get to play tabletop RPG. I used running campaign as example, Star Wars so that people would look it more from the point of view I'm trying to explain and don't get distracted by details. That is a danger if I'd used a Final Fantasy reality. Now I have the feeling that it turned out well, but someone might pull me back to ground, I'm sure of it...
It is a slight milestone for me, writing a public mini-novel and placing it as a example 'do things like this'. I'd be much less worried and exited if I'd written it in my first language.
Otherwise, wedding planning and search of job. Life doesn't feel bad. rolleyes

Aye, my own wedding. That'll be eight of August this year. Ditch all white and sweet things, we're now in Scandinavia. Our wedding will be held in old stone church, with Kalevala and viking themes. As a bride I'll be dressed in black and white cotton and carrying a Finnish knife on my belt - a gift my mother made for me. wink And then something else, from Britain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZYYou might already read the news, but darn that was so good that I want to ensure that everyone sees it.

Muahaha. I'm flapping my mouth here again. biggrin But things go even weirder day by day. I'll be a teacher again, for few days to 12-13 year old and nine years old kids AND most part of teaching will be done in English. eek
I'm very excited and terrified too. To be teacher for 13-15 year olds is thing I've always said to be the most terrible job I can think of and I would never take up on it. I never say anything like that again. I swe... Never mind.

Good luck with the teaching gig! Maybe it won't be so bad. And if it is, well it's only temporary, right? ^_^ What are you teaching?
