"Oh, our entire den is enormous. Ganon cut a lot of it right out of the mountain, but most of it was already part of this enormous complex of caves. But yeah, my room is really large. I can stand up on my hind legs in it easy, and lie down and stretch out and still not touch the sides."

Asayake blinked and then grinned. "Wow, that is a really nice room!" She gave a nod towards their own den. "It looks pretty small, and the water entrace is probably even too small for you to get in, but there's an aerial entrance right into the living room that's huge. Unfortunately, when it rains, we kinda get chased out." She chuckled, smiling.
"My room is rather quaint, but I really don't mind that. I enjoy it being small, and really don't know what I'd do with something that was large."

Lorne smiled and rolled all the way onto his back, his head resting near her. It was sunk a bit into the refreshing mud, but his eyes were still high above the water. "Wow, it's really... relaxing here."

She smiled and laughed, tail swinging lazily from side-to-side. "It's home, and that's all I've ever really considered it." Asayake went quiet and still for a few moments, gaze drifting down the stream that ran through the forest.
"I've never really been one to wander far, so I don't know any different." She shrugged her shoulders lightly. "But this is home."

"I can't say I blame you. Given the chance, I'd probably live out here..." He looked up wistfully, smiling to himself. It was so open... he had room. Not in the caves, of course, but he was a bit big for caves, really. The water was just deep enough to help take some strain off his legs, and he could hunt easily.

"Do you not like your own home?" Her tail and whiskers still flicked and twisted gently. The expression on her face was a mild curiosity mingled with warmth. Asayake was genuinely worried about this younger, larger kyn, much in the manner a mother would have been.

"Oh, no! I just... I feel like I'd be more comfortable here. There isn't a lot of prey for me around my home, so I have to travel to eat, and it's just cramped for me inside caves, no matter what."

Asayake smiled deeply at the young Lorne, nodding. "You are welcome to come here and hunt whenever you feel the need. And you may stay as long as you like. No one here would mind."

He looked up and smiled. "Thank you very much, Asayake! ... Are you sure it'll be all right with your First and Rider, though?" He frowned thoughtfully. He knew some Firsts didn't like kyn from other flights hunting in their territory, since it made prey that much more scarce. And with someone who ate as much as Lorne, well...

"I'm sure you'll be careful to not spook the herds away, and this place gets so many herds running through it during migration, you couldn't possibly eat them all." She smiled brightly up at him, tail waving purposefully behind her. "The First is my father, Lorne. And my rider would love to have some more faces to talk to. It might be nice if you dropped by to warn us if you're hunting though."

"I'll certainly do that. It's the easiest spot to land, anyway. Good thing landing doesn't seem to fill your home with water." He coughed meekly. "It's happened before. The people living in the caves weren't very happy with me."

She seemed very tempted to reach out and hug the kyn - if he hadn't been so large he would have squished her when she did so. "I'm sorry Lorne. It can't be easy being as large as you are, with everyone else being so small."

"Yeah..." He shifted. "I'm always afraid I'll roll over on some sleeping Lunar, or a slow human... I mean, I'm not too worried about Ganon and Nicky, 'cause they're both really fast... but humans are so slow...!"

((Soooo sorry for the long wait on a response Ganon! sweatdrop *feels like she's been neglecting normal RPs to run around in shops* And I also apologized for my lack of being able to spell... -.- ))
Asayake offered a low-pitched warble, a cross between a croon and a purr, towards the younger European. The noise 'thrum'ed through her chest, and dissipated into the air. She sympathized with him, but at the same time she felt her scales rubbed a bit of the wrong way.

He coughed quietly (as quietly as he could, at least). "Not to be offensive, mind. I'm used to faster creatures, is all. Ganon is a wyrmme and Nicky is a furre... He's a snakeman, she's..." He frowned a moment, looking up, then nodded and said, "One-fourth... cheetah and three-fourths fox. I think. They're fast, is the point. Much faster than humans. I guess maybe humans just seem slow in comparison."
