Y'know, A Kirby RPG Would Really Work Out.

Precisely. That's why it would be so weird if a Kirby game actually had a good storyline that was interesting rather than something about dreams, nightmares, and shortcake.

But turn based RPG's are so boring. You need a good story to make them playable. I guess tons of side quests, puzzles, good battle animations, some unique battle mechanic, and fun bosses could replace them. I mean Pokemon somehow does it.

Hah, plus the focus in pokemon is on the 'enemies'. And 'playable characters'. Even then people complain about them.

Some Special attack ideas I thought of for some of the characters.
Kirby: Ability combo-Hits the enemy once with every ability Kirby has scanned so far with the exeption of a few (say...clean, sleep or crash for example)
Meta Knight: Air Raid- Calls for the Halberd for some additional firepower
Waddle Dee: Gang strike-An Army of Waddle Dees come and assault the opponent
King DeDeDe: Masked Might-DeDeDe dresses up in his masked mode and unleashes devistating blow after devistating blow

....ok, I'll admit some of these could be better, but it's what I could think up of off the top of my head

Like Dedede and ball Kirby, and he mallot whacks Kirby into the enemy and he bounces all over the place! And just switch it with a few elements like fire and ice.

Or Knuckle Joe and Kirby doing a tag-team arcade style fighter-combo onto an opponent

Yeah, I totally agree, if Mario worked well in (more than one!) RPG, then Kirby would totally work fine too!
And I'd play that no doubt... I like Kirby much more than Mario... rather a pink marshmallow than a fat plumber, ftw.

Hmm, all those ideas sound pretty good.

What about an overlimit system?

Like a meter at the bottom, and when it gets topped off, Kirby could use a powerful attack that normally PWNS all in his range, like Mike, Crash, Cook, and Paint?
