"Eee!" Tokala giggled tail flicking out of the way along with scurrying rather clumsily out of striking range. The fox boy waited for his brother to face him to go for a "stab" by poking his sword forward at Leif's middle.

Emris smiled and nuzzled Terrie, "That's good to hear then." He whispered before blinking, "Wait? Fighting over something?" He raised an eyebrow and sighed as he looked over at their children. "I'm sure it wasn't anything to big...I hope."
"But yes, I did find a lot this time." Emris closed his eyes lazily and leaned against his warm mate. "I got most of the plants you wanted for the garden, house supplies, and a good amount of coins for the things I took over to sell. With some extra things too...of course."
"Aah!" Leif tried to avoid his brother's attack but ended up sliding across the wooden floor to land on his sister. Dazed he blinked several times before wiggling back up on his paws, "Sorreh." He whispered to Mersi before playfully poking at her with his sword.
A small giggle escaped his lips as he turned and flicked his tail towards his sister face. But then his gaze focused back on Tokala. "Not done yet!" He growled lightly and raised his sword.

"It doesn't seem to have anything big. Once they calmed down, it was fine. They're boys after all." She sighed and wrapped her arm over his shoulders, petting the far side of his neck with her fingers. "Great. It'll be so nice to get that garden started."
Mersi gasped appropriatly at all the jabbing, squeaking in suprise when Leif suddenly fell onto her. "No attack audance!" She yipped. Growling playfully, she pounced forward and grabbed Leif's tail and started chewing on it. With her small teeth and his furry tail it wouldn't hurt him, which she knew from a previous attempt.

"That's good." Emris leaned into Terrie's touch and smiled softly. "Yes, yes it will be." He murmured already imagining their garden, "I'd like for Mersi, Tokala, and Leif to be able to plant their own plants as well." He chuckled, "Though I don't know how that idea might go."
"Eeep!~" Wiggling Leif tried to free his tail from his sister's grasp, "Mersi!" He yelped and though it didn't hurt, Leif just didn't like having someone attached to his tail.

Terrie giggled. "I don't know if we could keep their attention long enough to grow anything themselves." Looking at the children, her mouth turned downward slightly. "Sometimes I'm not sure whether to laugh at them or to scold and corner them." She said with an amused shake of her head.
Mersi looked up innocently at Leif, his tail still caught in her jaws. Flicking her own tail, a mischievious flare flashed in her eyes and she pounced up with a "Rawr!," climbing onto Lief's back and clinging there. "I has you captured!" She yipped proudly, giving Tokala a glance that dared him to come and try to take her prize away.

"True." Replied Emris with a grin. Watching their children, the foxtaur noted what Terrie meant. "Yet, as long as they don't really hurt themselves, I'd let them have their fun." He murmured with amusement in his voice.
"Aww come on!" Leif wiggled beneath his sister with a pout. "Le'me go!" He tried to stand on shaky paws and somehow managed to get up with his sister on his back. Though he soon fell down again with an muffled 'umph'.

Terrie looked up at Emris for a moment, then nodded. "Okay." She petted his neck with her fingertips as she watched the children playing. "Did you have other kids to play with while you were growing up?"
Mersi shrieked happily as she was lifted into the air and tumbled back down. "Come on Lief! Be big boy! Play!" She yipped, gnawing lightly on his ears.

Emris blinked in surprise at Terrie's question. "Umm...not really." He blushed faintly, "Well I did kinda, but I preferred to stay on my own. That is until Xennek started pestering me after he moved in."
"Easy for you to say!" Replied Leif as he struggled back on his paws. His hands moved towards his ears and he smacked Mersi lightly, "Stop that!" Leif now tried to move since he was finally back up.

"Oh." Terrie smiled at his blush before sighing and lying her head against his shoulder. "I wonder what I was like as a child. If I had other kids to play with." She mused to herself.
Mersi yelped and batted at his hand. Then she started laughing. "Giddap horsey!" She squealed, tail fluffed in the excitement.

Emris hugged Terrie as a sign of comfort. "I'm sure you had a childhood full of friends." He murmured softly, "After all who wouldn't like such an adorable foxtaur?" A soft chuckle, "I bet you were really cute as a child."
"Yeah, yeah!" Moaned Leif before starting to move slowly across the floor. Each step was wobbly until he grew use to his sister's weight, "Hah!" He bounced with each step and tried moving fast to see how much his sister could take.

Terrie giggled, but her eyes remained downcast sadly. "I wish I could remember, but then there are other times that I wonder if I'm better off not remembering..." She looked up at Emris, holding his eyes with hers. "Do you think that's weird of me?"
Mersi squealed with delight, laughing as Leif bounced around. "Fathter Leif!" She yelled, clinging tightly to her brother.

"No, I don't." Replied Emris gazing warmly at Terrie. His hands captured hers and he gave them a comforting squeeze. He nuzzled her and murmured, "Sometimes remembering isn't the best thing especially if it hurts you. To forget or remember is up to you, whichever makes you happy."
Leif was getting into the game as he bounced around, "Where to?" He asked giggling happily.

Terrie smiled and pressed her face against Emris' neck. "How did you get so wonderful?" she murmured as she kissed his skin.
Mersi thought a moment as she giggled. "Outside Lief! Chase the flutterbys!"

"Could've been love." Replied Emris softly as he held Terrie and cuddled into her warmth.
"Okay!" Replied Leif with a yelp before heading pushing open the door and heading off the porch and around the side where he spotted some butterflies that were randomly flying by, "I sees them!"

Terrie chuckled softly. "And we know you have plenty of that around you here." Though her body was relaxed her ears were perked up, alert for sounds of the children outside.
Mersi yipped out a cavalry charge call when Leif pointed out the butterflies. "Charge!" She yelled, trying to sound serious even as a smile brightened her face.
