Aponi looked into his bright eyes and his embarrassed blush "You don't have to be embarrassed" she said soothingly before padding to the river. Her paws sinking in the soft spongy sand ever so slightly. "Do you want to go for a swim" she asked trying to lighten up the mood so he doesn't feel so awkward. Without waiting for his answer she gracefully dived in the river only making a ripple when her head resurfaced.

He walked into the river, swimming up beside her. He was glad that he felt less awkward now, so, splashed her when she came up. As he did, he ducked under water and swam around behind her and splashed her again. Then, he dove under a second time and swam away-coming up just out of reach of any splash she may try. He grinned at her, enjoying the water, and watched as she swam very gracefully in the water. She either swims a lot or has a lot of natural talent, because being in the water most definitely suits her.

Aponi closed her eyes quickly to prevent the splashing water from entering her eyes. "Ok ok" is splash Aponi time over now? she said giggling before opening her eyes when she thought the coast was clear. When her eyes opened she saw Annan just out of splash reach thinking quickly she dove under and quickly swimming under him to grab his legs and pull. Bubbles escaped her lips as she giggle at her little joke and swam up to the surface.

He came above water laughing. "See, is splash Aponi time so bad?" he asked her, teasing a little. He swam past her, touching his cheek to hers lightly as he went past. "You said you have to check on your friend today, now that we are both awake, would you like me to go with you? We do not have to leave now, I am just asking if you want me to tag along. I can carry water and such," he asked, seeming a little nervous that she would not want him to come. 'I wish I did not have to remind her of her friend, I want her to stay, but maybe she will come back if I go with her,' he thought to himself.

Aponi laughed enjoying swimming in the river "No I guess its not that bad" she said giggling to Annan splashing him as he swam away. "Oh yes" she said ashamed that she forgot her role as a healer so quickly, not wanting to leave the male fox behind she felt torn. I want him to come so bad but Cleo might not take that well and I dont thik it would be wise to surprise her now"Umm" she started not knowing what to say "I do need to go... but I don't think you can come" she stammered not wanting to hurt Annan. "I don't think Cleo could handle other company it might shock her." she said hoping he takes it well and allowes her to return. "I'm so sorry I hope you will let me come back" she said slightly embarrassed.

"That is fine, come back anytime, I would love it," he told her, wishing she did not have to leave. He went and got her some extra fish, and wrapped them in a leaf before refilling her water cup. He wrapped the fish to the bottom and handed it to her. "Be careful, okay? Do not tire yourself out to much like you did yesterday," he said, concerned for her. He hated that she was leaving, but comforted himself with the knowledge that she would be back soon-at least he hoped so.

Aponi looked at Annan her eyes searching his making sure he meant that she can come back "I will be back very shortly" she reassured him as he was getting the fish. "Thank you" she whispered "Yur so kind and understanding" she said sweetly to Annan. Aponi went up and took the package in her mouth rubbing her face to his as she passed "I'll see you soon" she mumbled through the package before taking off.

Annan watched her go, a little sad. She was the most amazing fox he had ever met, and he hoped she would, as she said, be back soon. He knew it was silly of him, but he would miss her, even though she did not plan to be gone long. He went into the water to swim as he tried to keep himself busy. He had never realized how lonely his life could be sometimes, but he had always been happy. He knew that if she chose not to come back he would be hurt, but he trusted that she would.

Aponi ran back to the clearing not tired but excited to be back around Annan. Her fur was flowing behind her as she ran to get to the clearing as soon as possible. Finally in sight of the clearing she stopped and tried her best to make her self presentable to the fox she knew she loved. Aponi smoothed her coat out so the swirls on her coat where perfect and looked into a puddle as a mirror. After seeing that everything was good she walked into the clearing looking for Annan.

Annan notices Aponi on the shore and quickly went to the shore. "That was a fast trip," he told her, smiling at her, and estatic that she was back. He rubbed his cheek against her, and then blushed after he did. But, instead of making excuses, he just looked over at her, unable to stop himself. He wanted to rub against her cheek again, but he knew it would be smarter to wait and make sure she was okay with it.

Aponi saw Annan coming towards her she froze in excitment just happy to be back. "Yes I just checked her over and told her mate what to do to treat her from now on and to come and get me if needed" Aponi said relived to be back. She rubbed her cheek against Annans as he did so to her and she blushed hoping it was ok with him before turning and discovering he was blushing to "I-im so sorry" she said looking down at her paws afraid she embarrassed him.

"Please, don't be. I was actually blushing because I wanted to do that again," Annan turned even more red and looking around nervously. He walked even closer to her, and used his paw to get her to look into his eyes, hoping he would realize that he truely did not mind-that it actually made him really happy that she had done so at the same time as him. He waited nervously for her to respond to what he said.

Aponi looked up at him "Really" she said glad that he wasn't mad at her own show of affection. Happiness swelled inside her acceptance at last she diddnt need to heal to have kindness she only had to be herself. She noticed the sun going lower in the sky and guessed it was about 5:00 pm she was feeling the effects of traveling during the day but ignored them completely.

"Yes, really. You've had a long day, you must be tired," he said, "I have some fresh fish over on the rock if you are hungry. You are welcome to sleep in my den-I'll sleep out here if you like," he told her all this in a rush, really excited that she seemed to care about him too. He was really hoping that it was not just a crush on her behalf, because he knew, deep down, that he loved her.

Aponi smiled at Annan at least he can stand me she thought happily. "Thank you so much, I am rather tired and hungry" she smiled as she said it "I want to stay out with you again tonight" she said hopefully a little less embarrassed because he accepted her.
