Calli finished the first part of the story of Heracles and walked to her apartment. She had to get ready to go to work at the diner as a waitress. Where she worked was always busy, which often was a total pain but today she hoped she'd run into the boy who gave him the book so she could thank him for giving it to her, the story reminded her why she thought myths were so fun. It also made her realize something for the first time,I think I can relate to Heracles in an odd way, he had it pretty tough for a guy so strong. She picked up her apron and order pad on and walked to the grill.

Pandora smiled as she saw the girl whose wallet she had stolen earlier. She quickly smiled as one of her foster sisters headed into the restaurant to give the girl back her wallet. She had given her instructions before she went in. She loved her younger foster siblings and most of the time stole so that she could feed them. Her foster parents only fed them once a week half the time.

Bellatrix strode into the diner, the personification of defiance with her purple earphones and black iPod in plain sight. Her green eyes glared through everything in the room from under thick black eyeliner.

Calli noticed the little girl return her wallet to her, I guess I must have dropped it. She thought. "Thanks," she said. The little girl was eyeing the grilled chicken sandwich with fries on Calli's tray she was supposed to deliver to a customer. She looks really hungry, much, much more hungry than the tourist that ordered this. It wouldn't be a big deal if I gave it to her. I'll get the cook to make another one for the tourist. She handed the tray to the kid, "Here, it's a thank you for returning my wallet." The little girl looked really happy, thanked Calli, and ran out of the grill with the food. "Wow!" Calli was about to go to the cook to ask him to make a new chicken sandwich, but she stopped because she noticed the boy that gave her the book.

Pandora noticed the boy as well but didn't do anything because her foster sister was running over to her carrying a tray. "Pandora look what that nice Lady gave me!" Pandora noticed the tray full of food and felt immensely grateful to the girl who had given it to her younger sister. "That's great Kayley! Now why don't you hand me the food and go give the nice lady back her tray. I promise your food will still be here when you get back." She smiled as her little sister ran to do as she was told. When her little sister arrived back Pandora had decided to never steal from that girl again because of what she did for Kayley. When she arrived back Pandora scooped Kayley up and balanced her on her hip. She then stared hard at the boy before turning around to walk off carrying Kayley more than likely the boy didn't even remember her and if he did probably wanted nothing to do with her.

(Lol, I assumed that this would take place in the Ancient Greek times but I'll blend it in. wink ) Kros sat in the alley, waiting...waiting... She had just stolen her dad's armor from under his nose. It was a stupid family heirloom, she remembered, but it was valuable armor all the same. Kros loved to read fantasy and mythology especially. She had always wanted to be just like the heroes, even though they were dumb, arrogant fart-heads. All she wanted was to use some magic, have a little fun, and maybe, just maybe, meet a Greek god or two. Unlike the mortals she lived with, she knew mythology was real. Kros saw it with her own eyes. It went like this: she was waking up one morning, sulking about how she'd have to go to that stupid private school and take that stupid math test and get a perfect score as usual. And there it was. Kros looked out the window, and where the sun was to rise, a chariot rose, pulled by magnificent fire breathing horses. It was so beautiful, she remembered, violent in a way, but beautiful nonetheless. She had her new pet snake with her, still thinking of a name for it. Kros remembered getting it for being...being...what did her father call it? "A magnificent, beautiful, intelligent girl," he said. The memory made Kros shiver. She hated being complimented. It's nice to hear them occasionally, but her parents treated her like she was perfect. "Like I'm better than Zeus," she muttered, "I'm not and I never want to be Little Miss Perfect. That's why I ran away anyways. But look at me, I'm in a dumb alley and all I'm doing is just waiting for a sign. This is stupid." Kros tiptoed out of the alley and peeked left, right, and left again. There was a resturant. Was it normal to go to an average resturant while wearing Greek armor? Ah, who cares? She hopped out of the alley with her snake, who she decided would be named Name, to the resturant.

Tony's stomach growled loudly. Hungry again! He thought as he looked for a place to eat. He spotted the restaurant. "What luck! I hope they have a buffet!" He opened the door and sat down at a table. He looked at a menu. Well, no buffet but the choices look really good. The waitress came over to his table and asked for his order. He scratched the stubble on his chin as he viewed the menu. "Hmmm... I'll have the steak dinner, the hamburger dinner, the chicken sandwich dinner, with fries... Oh, and a the pizza looks good." The waitress gives him a look. "Oh right," He laughed, "Forgot the drink, just a milk I guess." sweatdrop He noticed the book in the waitress's bag. Hmm.. so she's interested in my dad's stories, huh? I knew I sensed something different 'bout her Tony heard her cough to get his attention. "Oh that's it, um, unless you recommend anything else." mrgreen

"Nope, you pretty much ordered it all," Calli said arching an eyebrow at the man. Is he serious about eating all of that? Oh well I'll go get the other orders. She went over to the table where the rebellious girl with the earphones sat. Calli recognized her from seeing her at the diner before. She seemed nice but mysterious and also seemed to share the same rebellious nature Calli had. "Hi, may I take your order?"

A waitress came up to Bellatrix's table and asked for an order. Bella was about to shoot off her snobby, rude, you-just-insulted-the-wrong-person look and fire the girl, but when she looked up something made her stop. There was somthing tangibly different about the waitress, a powerful aura, separate from the dull humans around them. Not a monster, she would have seen that immideately, but something... inhuman. Powerful.
"No, thanks, I'm not a customer. I'm Bella, Bellatrix Connor, and this is my parents' restaurant, usually I come and hang out here. Sometimes I help if things are super busy..." She looked at the waitress's nametag. "Calli", she said, "like Calypso, the siren. Are you by any chance into Greek mythology?"

(Kenamarin_Shukai, please send me a character profile, sorry, but i didn't accept you into the story yet and i need a profile to do that)as blayd sat at the table he felt different, his surroundings seemed to radiate as if with some power. he knew that something was different, was he perhaps in the company of others like him? he waited patiently for the waitress and looked around him. he noticed several unique looking people, he knew that his instinct had been correct and he then noticed that the waitress was the same young woman that he had seen only hours earlier

Bellatrix froze, turning still as a statue except for her head, which slowly surveyed the rest of the room. Something was off in here, besides the weirdo in the Greek armor and the bulky man with the single eye and the boy with horns and hoves with a tree-girl, past the fire-haired girl with bronze and animal legs eating a burger, past the normal people... there. A blue-eyed boy--or maybe a man, he looked about college-age, was staring right at the waitress, who had not left the table.
There was a moment--less than half a second, where all the three froze. The waitress, the punk, the stranger-- all staring eachother in the eyes, all at a time.
Then the tension broke, and Bella lowered her eyes. There was something funny about him, too. And the waitress--they seemed to know eachother. That radiating power-- were they somehow connected?

Blayd continued sitting as he noticed the young thief and that she had returned the wallet. he was happy to see that, as he didn't like the idea of someone like her being a thief. he waved at her and said "hey, nice to see you again" he didn't know what else to say, he was a little confused and disoriented by his surroundings, considering the people seemed different here. he noticed that she had a little girl with her, a daughter? no, the girl was to young to have a daughter like that, maybe a cousin or sister?

Pandora was startled when the boy spoke to her. She looked around trying to figure out if he was actualyl speaking to her. When she realized he was she smiled a little bit. "It's nice to see you again as well." She couldn't resist teasing the boy by returning his comment. She shifted Kayley lightly as her little sister was trying to fall asleep on her after having finished the food the waitress had given her. She noticed him looking at Kayley with a curious look and immediatley became defensive. Most people looked down on her because she carried Kayley with her to keep her safe. " This is my little sister Kayley. Our mom was to lazy to watch her today so I'm watching her." It was an automatic reaction. WHen someone looked at Kayley Pandora went on the defensive.
