Gillian growled, falling over onto his back as Yuki tumbled to his rear. For a moment from his angle the infant couldn't see Yuki's face- much less his hair. With a short kick he got back to his feet, pulling himself up to a stand. He readied himself and jumped onto the 'girl's' stomach, perhaps she'd spit Yuki out if he started pounding at it, "Let Yu-...." he paused, looking over the 'girl's' face from 'her' belly. "...Y...Y...Yuki?!" His mouth fell open, reaching out slowly to move the silvery hair back in the way Yuki normally wore it. It was Yuki alright.
Gasping the boy put his hands over his face, his eyes widening horribly. He'd hurt Yuki! Almost started beating on him. "....n...I.. s....."

When Yuki tumbled, Yvette landed on her own stomach, thumping to the floor and lying winded for a few seconds until she scrambled back to her knees. By then, Gil had discovered his mistake - and Yvette was completely confused. Plumping down on her bottom, she frowned, trying to understand. The girl hadn't stolen Yuki - the girl was Yuki? But wasn't Yuki a boy? Why would Yuki be wearing a dress? Her little lip quivered. Now Gil looked like he was going to cry - had they done a bad thing? It looked like it.
"Uki? No gwirl, Uki?"
A few feet away, Rune stared at the scene in complete disbelief before blinking and trotting over. "Yes, Yvette, I think that's Yuki." She knelt and lifted Gillian carefully off Yuki's stomach, setting him gently on the floor and offering the other little boy a hand. So this was Gil's friend Yuki. She wasn't quite sure why Gil would have attacked him - much less why Yvette had joined in - but she suspected the fall from his Geisha shoes had to hurt. "Are you alright?"

Something about a Halloween party -- at least, that's what she'd heard. Whether she knew the people or not, Pukio was rather attracted to the idea of attending more parties. She rather liked having an excuse to dress up; besides, this way Ryker could finally meet some of his fellow Sin'aeis. That would be good for him, right? Well, one could hope.
Pukio, Ryker in her arms, moved up into the foyer -- and was greeted by chaos. Oh well, she hadn't been expecting much else, if Kilah's stories were even half true. Carefully, the pale haired woman picked her way around the knot of screeching children, sticking the the wall until she'd relatively cleared the insanity. At that point, she stooped, setting Ryker on the ground. He was dressed in a rather vibrant rendition of a parrot: covered in green, blue, yellow, and red feathers, with makeshift wings hanging from his shoulder to his wrists. Ryker seemed rather nonplussed about the whole thing. Pukio thought it was cute. Pukio, meanwhile, was costumed in what might have been contrived as a doctor's coat, her usual eyepatch switched out for a white one with a red cross painted neatly over it. She looked rather pleased with herself as she peered over the other people in the hallway. "Goodness," she muttered absently.
Upon being set on the ground, Ryker immediately began to pull irritably at the feathers near his neck. Guh, this was horrible. They stuck him in weird places, and he felt like sneezing constantly -- his thoughts cut off a moment as he actually did so -- and this whole thing was rather weird in comparison to his usual state of dress: i.e. next to nothing. The only good point was that his own tail feathers weren't getting wrapped up in a blanket or anything. On that thought, he wriggled slightly, the tuft of dark feathers flicking lightly. Slowly, though, the infant's attention began to wander away from all his feathers, and instead turned toward the other children populating the hall. He continued to tug at his collar, though.
He'd never seen so many people! --Well, so many new people he didn't know all at once, anyway. Noyama's family was pretty large, and he was somewhat used to all them running about. He was used to noise, too. They shouted alot. But these people were...different -- and dressed in weird colors. At least he wasn't the only one; but the noise was the same. Lots of it. Though, it was beginning to die down...--Absently, Ryker glanced up toward Pukio, peering at his guardian thoughtfully for a few seconds. And then he dropped his hands, rolling up on to hands and knees. He didn't think about walking; he'd just gotten this whole crawling thing down, thank you very much! Abruptly, the dark haired "parrot" set off toward all the nonsense, leaving Pukio behind. He wanted to see these people...--maybe pull on their hair, if he got the chance...

Tenshi was just about to leave to check on up An, being she couldn't find any conversation, before she saw what could of been just the most adorable sight that she had seen tonight, besides Gabriel, but she was biased on that matter.
"Awwww! Your just the cutest little thing!" She squeeled as she went over and crouched in front of Rycher, tilting her witches hat up so she could see him better.
"Hey there Mister Parrot. What's your name?" She smiled, tickling his chin. My how the old where easially amused.

Ryker blinked sharply, flopping back onto his hindquarters with surprise. He blinked stupidly up at the girl and then a frown twitched across his features. She was getting in his way! Right inbetween all those people and him! --Oh well, he supposed he could pull on her hair...
At that thought, he reached up, hands waving absently toward Tenshi's hair. Bother; too high. Man, this whole being short thing was a severe disadvantage. He made due, instead, with beginning to tug irritably at his feather collar once again. "'Yker," he responded, giving his legs slightly. It could have easily been infant-gibberish, or a bit of his name for that matter, but he was certainly responding to Tenshi's question in one manner or the other.

Yukito gave the woman a smile then instead of taking her hand he reached over to Gil and the little girl to pull them over for hugs, "Shhh. Its ok. I'm fine, I know that I'm a bit of a wimp but it wasn't much of a fall so there is nothing to worry about." He assured them both.
Yuki looked up at Rune then smiled, "Yeah, I'm alright. Just a little fall was all, she's a strong girl isn't she?" He said then looked at Yvette then to Gil, "I thank you both, its nice to know that your both so brave and kind that you would try to save me like that." Even if they had been trying to save him from himself.

Yvette blinked, her threatened tears gone as she was hugged. She liked hugs. And if Yuki said it was alright, then she believed him. Gil trusted him, didn't he? And he said they were brave! And kind! Those were good words in all the stories her big sister read. She hugged Gil herself, snuggling happily against the two boys. "No sad, Gilly. Uki kay!" She beamed up at him. "I Evie."
Rune sat back on her heels, grinning and quite impressed with Yuki's handling of the kids. A flash of motherly pride flickered on her face. "Yeah, she's - stubborn, when she thinks she has to be." Headstrong and determined as a mule, more like it.

He looked down slowly, obviously ashamed in his behavior. His tail had gone about as limp as if it had been stripped of the bones as he held it in his hands, kind of fiddling with it out of guilt. He felt a bit better as Yuki hugged him, then Evie, a hint of a guilty smile replacing the slight frown he had before. "I am sorry, Yuki....", he said again, doing his best to hug both his friends- though being so small it was difficult. "N' Evie's brave, I just... got....over...re...." he paused, he couldn't think of how to say "over-react" quite yet so he stopped himself all together.
