Zinnia watched the cubone, lost in thought. Choppi's words had an impact on her, but she wasn't sure what to say. Instead, she admired the cute little cubone's design and markings. It was the first time she really got a close look at a pokemon other than Zyk. All the other times she saw pokemon were glimpses in the wild or in battles.
Zyk decided to ignore Hannah and instead began cleaning his fur. He was still tired, though, so soon he lifted off of Zinnia's shoulder and landed upside down on a tree branch just above her. He folded his wings tightly over himself, opened wide his little mouth in a yawn, and fell still.
Zinnia looked up at Zyk and smiled. "He's calm enough to sleep," she said. "That's good; it would be strange if he became diurnal."

Choppi chuckled as she leaned back now on both hands, looking up at the sun. After a moment she closed her eyes, but he sunlight still leaked through and shone through her eyelids the blood in them. “The sun is always wonderful, but the night is the most dangerous before the day breaks.” Good things never came without the bad.
Hannah looked at the Rocket girl, and titled her head. Looking back then suddenly at Choppi, she flailed at them both. Little arms flapping madly up and down, she ran over to her watcher and yanked on her pigtails. “Hannah…” She sighed as she shook her head, turning to face Zinnia.
“Cue!! Cuebone! Bone!” She rattled out, pointing now in a fervent manner to Zinnia’s hair. The Pokemon never noticed before how similar they looked, because she’d been in the battles. Not watching them from the sidelines.
“Silly.” She patted Hannah on her skull, “that’s our friend Zinnia.”
“Cue….bone?”
“No…” The watcher calmly corrected, tapping her on her nose now, almost in mock punishment. “We call her Zin.”
All smiles now, Hannah turned to face the girl, all the while her tail wagged. Then, in a bubbly manner, she spoke. “Cue!” In pokemon language, she’d just repeated what Choppi told her Zinnia’s name was. The translation was ‘Zin!’ The watcher giggled as the cubone approached her now, wriggling with joy. Hannah always was friendly, and never held battles against others. Now, she was going to attempt to make friends with a non-pokemon. This would be fun to watch, Choppi decided.

Zinnia laughed. "It's nice to meet you, too, Hannah!" she said cheerfully. "Cubone bone?" She had no idea what she had just said, but she laughed to be speaking the cubone's language. "I'm glad that you're not mad at me," she said, reaching a hand out to pat the pokemon.
Her hand paused a short distance away from Hannah, her head tilted so that her pigtails flopped over her neck. She moved slowly forward to touch the other pokemon, but gave her plenty of time to back away if she wanted to. Zinnia knew from Zyk that petting without permission could be quite painful. And a blow from that bonemerang would really hurt.

Hannah, like the big ham she was, stepped into Zinnia’s awaiting hand and pushed her skull against it. Smiling at her and wagging her tail, she was the embodiment of happiness at the second. New friends were always something that the cubone liked making.
“Bonebone.” She concluded from the trainers poke’ speak, folding her arms and nodding in a serious way. “Cubone.”
Choppi kept the giggles to herself as she watched the cute moment unfold before her. Zinnia wouldn’t hurt a fly, even if she had been ordered to. This made the girl wonder what exactly she was doing with Team Rocket.
Eyeing the zubat from where she was sitting, she watched as his chest rose and fall in a REM motion. He was such a loyal little guy, Choppi could almost call him a complete gentlemen. Turning to the trainer then with a question that suddenly popped into her head, she slapped her palms onto her knees. Her hand looked so much better, save for the pin pricks still lingering behind.
“What kind of Pokemon will you get in your team Zin? Surely, you can’t just want one, and I wonder what Zyk will allow you to have.” She smiled sweetly, thinking of the bat’s outbursts at another Pokemon getting the attention from Zinnia that he was truly warranted.

Zinnia smiled and continued petting Hannah. She looked up at Choppi when she asked the question. "Oh, I don't know. Probably I'll just have Zyk, since I'm only going to have pokemon that want to be with me on my team. It's really unlikely that a pokemon would stay to hear me out when their instincts tell them to run away." Zinnia patted the cubone's bone helmet. "Zyk joined me because when I reached his cave, all the other zubats flew out at once. All those wings coming at him at the same time really got him confused, since his echolocation was messed up from all the vibrations and stuff. Then he listened to me and decided to come with me."
Zinnia smiled, looking up at the sleeping zubat. "So I'll take any pokemon that wants to be with me. Maybe I'll just have Zyk forever, and that's fine, too. He's very brave and is getting stronger." Zinnia fluffed Hannah's fur. "You really like attention, don't you?" she asked the pokemon kindly.

Hannah would have been purring were she a Skitty or Meowth. Nodding slightly, she reached out and clung to Zinnia’s leg with glee. Her little cubone claws had a strong but gentle grip. Tail wagging all the while, Hannah rubbed her head up and down with affection towards Zinnia.
“Once other Pokemon get a good look at you and Zyk’s strong bond, I’m sure you’ll have no problems expanding your team.” Choppi nodded, pig tails bobbing a bit as she stood up. Reattaching Hannah’s pokeball to her hair tie, the watcher stood up without a bounce for once. “It’s best to have Pokemon that trust you and need you back.”

Zinnia happily obliged to Hannah's wordless request and petted her some more. "I agree," she said to Choppi. "Zyk and I both need each other, and I think that makes us stronger on the battle field." She smiled up at the slumbering pokemon, admiring the bluish tint the sun gave his fur.
"How did you meet Hannah?" Zinnia asked curiously. "She's really friendly and completely different from Zyk. I guess pokemon really are as different as people!"

Choppi tapped her lower lip as she tried to think of a good way to explain to Zinnia how she met the cubone. Then taking a breath she started her story… “Well, I first moved to…”
Her words were cut off as a blur of black rushed past, snatching up her bag from the ground. Hovering in the air for a few moments, the catlike creature with a long tail regarded the pair, before zipping off. Choppi stared, open mouthed. Not again.
“That silly Pokemon!” She flailed at the air where the Pokemon once was. Shaking her fist, she motioned to Hannah. “That stupid shadow thing…stole my bag once before…” Holding up the crumpled paper she’d snatched from the debris of her open bag, she waved it at Zinnia. “This thing. Spotted it once and it won’t leave my bag alone. I think it likes to eat the food in there.”
The sketch was very uncanny to a mew-like Pokemon. Choppi was a good watcher, but when it came to legendaries she was a bit off the mark. Grumbling as she scooped up more debris, Hannah let her grip go as she gathered up a few pieces as well, trying to help her trainer.

(( ... Is this meant to be Zin's future mew, or just a random pokemon that looks like it? xD;; Just asking because you seem to be hinting that it is a shadow mew, but it doesn't have the right personality/meeting circumstances at all. xD ))
Zinnia stared, wide-eyed. What was that thing? "It was so fast!"
Zyk had awoken from his nap when he sensed the mysterious pokemon coming. He flew down and landed on Zin's shoulder and listened intently. If that thing came back, he would have to defend Zinnia at all costs.

(( Yeah, the problem is that I already came up with the meeting RP. It would be fine if she was sighted beforehand as long as it was nothing major, but my mew isn't one who would pop up in broad daylight and steal food... xD;; Maybe it could turn out to be a pidgey and the two go on a wild goose pidgey chase? ))

(( I was thinking that it was spotted, snatched the bag, and Choppi just had to track the stuff down. That was all. If anything it could very well be a Ghastly impersonator or something if you'd like. XD ))

(( Ooh! How about we bring Dreydonna in? She's a real prankster and can probably change her shape slightly to mimic a mew's. I think that that's a good idea! I'll leave Renekai, Donna's trainer, out of this RP, but Dreydonna can be on one of her evil quests. ))

(( Okay, Dreydonna it is. ))
"Come on, Choppi, let's follow it!" Zinnia said urgently. "We should go see what it is!" Zinnia got up, one hand on her head to hold her hat, the other holding Zyk who had just stepped onto her fist. "Zyk, see if you can track it!"
Zyk leaped into the air from Zinnia's gloved fist and made several squeaks that were barely audible to human ears. The mysterious pokemon was very fast and didn't seem to be completely solid, except for one spear-like shape. Zyk concentrated on the weapon in order to locate the pokemon, since most of it was hazy. "Zu!" he called and flew off after the pokemon.
Zinnia grabbed Choppi's hand, excitement shining in her eyes. "Let's go!"
