A girl staggered around with yet another load of books to add to her already massive pile of books in one of the easy chairs. She had just returend from the nonfiction area with books like:
Encyclopedia of Vampires, Werewolves, and Other Monsters,
Karate for Begginners
Introduction to Kickboxing
The Art of Swordsmanship
Expert Guide to Archery
Marksmanship for Beginners
Expert Marksmanship
A Book of Five Rings
The Art of Throwing Knives.
She knew that she was still new to this world and needed to get guidance, and fast.

Jordan walked into the entertainmemnt room and directly to the x-box. He had a game in his hands, seeing as the supply of games here did not have the one he wanted. He took out the disk and threw the case on the sofa.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
He quickly passed all the junk in the begginng, and cursed silently that he couldnt start from where he was because this was not his x-box. He sighed and started from the begining, skipping the movie...

Keva sighed and put her new pile of books next to the chair that she had claimed as hers. She also unslung her shoulder bag that was usually used for school and took out a blank notebook. "Time to take a LOT of notes." she muttered to herself as she wondered if her mom was missing her right now.
Probably not considering that it was the middle of the night and she had snuck out. She fished around for a pen in her green cargo pants. Finding none she looked around for someone who would be willing to share.

Jordan woke up and shook his head clear. he fell asleep in the game room. He looke dat the tv, which was on, but the xbox was off. He didnt care much, it goes off after eight hours of none usage anyway. He scrathed his head and slowly rose form the sofa, gathering his game and walking out of the room to take a hot shower...

Yanni'n walked in and grabbed a gatorade from the fridge after working out. "whew, i wonder-" she was cut off when her eye caught the computer and decided it would be a nice change to surf the internet, she sat own and checked her mail on gaia for the spare time she had

Iban walked in and sat at a computer he pulled up google and typed in "st. patricks cathedral" and got a picture of a person sitting on the building with a sniper rifle {prints picture}types in "yabureta shinzo" and gets a number for a vampire mecenary for hire {writes number down}
"i'll get him soon..."said Iban as he closed all his windows

"Hello any one there?" the lights were off. he flicked the switch and walked in."wow" he looked around the room and smiled sweet and walked over to the stario as he looked he saw a cord running to each of the corners in the room "oh ho ho" and turned the nob "YOU HAD ME FROM HELLO" the country music blared from the speakers. *ugh* he thought *who listens to that s**t?* and pushed the search button and it changed from Kix 106 to 98.1 The Max and a lous chorus of "NO MORE PENCILS NO MORE BOOKS...." erupted from the speakers. *Ok thats enough* he turned off the sterio and walked out turning the lights off behind him.

Tokeru led his love into the room, and locked the doors. He also turned off all the lights after finding a movie. He decided they hadn't been together for a long time, and took the longest movie he could think of. "The Green Mile" a three hour movie.
He then joined her on the nearest sofa, and turned on the movie, holding her and staring at her.

Haven was home to her though Edith had actually never been in this particular room or at least she could not recall having been in here before. She'd just moved in with Tokeru into the Shadow Stalker Chaperhouse and things had to go all wrong and the place had just had to blow up as soon as she'd moved in. She hadn't even really gotten a chance to settle in either, she'd just been forced to evacuate as every other member had been. When the movie turned on and Tokeru joined her on the sofa, she smiled at him as he stared at her. She then inclined her head toward him to not give him a typical kiss but an Eskimo kiss by rubbing her nose against his. She then leaned her head against his chest and stretched out on the couch to make herself comfy as the movie was going through previews and s**t. God she hated them but everyone else liked to know what movies were coming up. She just wished they'd be after the movie instead of leaving her in more suspense.

Markus sadly prowled the lines of bookshelves. By his standards this was simply a collection made by a bed-time reader, he needed something more. He wished he had stayed with the Vampires, atleast they had some real books in their library, instead of this piffling stuff offered here. He sighed, sitting down in the air. This was all he was good for these days, he needed a Vampire informant, someone who could tell him where his Father was hiding.

Tokeru was happy, for the first time in a very, very long time he was happy and relaxed. He was with his love, and he didn't need anything or anyone else to be happy.
He wrapped his hands around her and kissed the top of her head lightly, and leaned back to watch the movie.

Edith was happy too and for once she wasn't worrying about the fact that she was a monster or the fact that her life would forever be changed. Not to mention that Tokeru was much more durable with a normal human so if she accidentally slipped up and used too much force in a movement then she wouldn't end up killing him. That was always a bonus in her book. Controlling her strength and constantly focusing on not killing people was an absolute b***h and extremely exhausting as well as annoying as hell. Why couldn't all people just be as durable as Tokeru was? That way there would be no issue or problem with her being super strong now and super fast. She was still afraid to go anywhere near her niece and come to think of it, her niece as well as her mother had disappeared, which made her wonder if perhaps maybe they were hiding from her. She was a monster and would understand but that didn't change the fact that it would hurt her and sear her to the depths of her soul, which she probably no longer possessed since she was an undead entity now.
As soon as Tokeru kissed her, she smiled and melted, instantly forgetting her horrid thoughts of Lydia and Aurora. Somehow Tokeru just seemed to have that calming effect on her like drugs did for some people or other outlets such as music, poetry or whatever it was they had. She always loved being around Tokeru and never felt the negativity around him. He always managed to make her feel better when she was feeling down, too. He'd been there for her when she'd just turned and had accepted the monster that she was despite her having killed a bunch of people. He'd just took it in stride as if he hadn't sworn to slaughter any who dared to kill humans so mercilessly. Eden then smiled and leaned along with her love, whispering softly, "I love you, Angel."

Tokeru watched his love, while she was leaning on him, he was watching her. The rise and fall of her chest, the movement of her hair as he stroked it, and her lips. I love you too he thought, and wished he'd be able to say it. He felt a pang of sorrow at the fact he'd never be able to tell that to his love again, unless he embraced his fractured mind and readied himself to kill. He'd never be able to tell her what he wanted to say in a nice moment like this unless he began to drain the life from everything around him.
He stroked her cheek gently, and continued to watch her.

Eden could sense Tokeru's tormented emotions and she knew that the regret and remorse were more than likely from not being able to actually speak to her than anything else. She could hear his thoughts too and smiled when he told her that he loved her. 'I think this is maybe the second pro of being a vampire. I'm able to hear your thoughts and if I'd been human then I wouldn't have been able to hear your thoughts. Don't worry about not being able to actually say it. I know that one day you'll be able to talk again, I believe in you.' She then turned to him with a smile on her face and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek in attempts to ease his burden just a slight bit and to help him forget his pain. She didn't want him to feel pain, not when they were spending time together, not ever. Tokeru was supposed to be happy and she'd be content with nothing but his happiness. As she turned to go back to watching the movie, she felt Tokeru stroke her cheek and couldn't help but moan ever so softly and smile to accompany that lonely singular moan.
